I always appreciate the Americans who share their experiences about anything they have learnt on youtube to help people . Not like Asian or other regions in the world, they never let others know about what they learn , in another word, I can say "selfish " . Thanks agains
The knockoff valves were about $50 for a pair on ebay or amazon, don't remember which I bought from. The dealership I went to wanted $125 for just one and it had to be ordered. You can find oem single valves on amazon and ebay as well for about $50-80 depending on shipping. Good luck with your search
I have the same code. I’ve replaced all sensors and ocv and everything. I even tried a new ecm. I still get a code and I’ve reset the check engine light multiple times
In the hole where the ocv's are inserted in both banks there is a fine mesh screen at the back of the hole on some vehicles. Might want to check and clean in there just incase. Otherwise if you are still getting the codes there might be permanent damage already done to the cam shafts and or a blockage in one of the oil passages within the block.
The bank that's easiest to get to is bank 2 (the front one) bank 1 is the one on the back side of the motor. But the sensor for either bank 1 or 2 are located right in the valley before the transmission.

Thank you for this video because my toyota avalon has a p1349 code on and now I know how I can fix and replace it. I APPRECIATE YOU!!!
Great tutorial! thanks a lot bro!
May I ask what kind of motor oil are you currently using to your Toyota fully synthetic or high mileage motor?
Great video by the way!
It's running Valvoline full synthetic high mileage. 5w30.
Mike Balroop Thank you!! I want to use it as well but I’m afraid it might start leaking oil
If it's the same motor only thing that's prone to leaking is the valve cover gaskets, otherwise it's a pretty leak free motor
May I know how much it was for? Because I am getting the same issue and I want to know how much it would cost me to fix it?

Did you figure this out? I am getting same issue
Great video
This may be a dumb question, but do I need to drain the oil first?
Nope, the sensor is on the top of the engine.
Which one is Bank 1 and bank 2

How do you know which OCV to change
There is a different trouble code for each bank of the engine.
yea i was wondering that too. also can i just disconect both of them and wait till weather gets nice to change them?
