Quit watching network tv 3 years ago. This is 1 of 2 shows I miss. Thanks Richard 👍
Right along with you brother.
Hello
what's the second one?
6:41 "we got ppl making 1600 HP.."
Shoutout to Cleetus Mcfarland
yeah I also caught that shout out to the bartle skeeter Cleeter himself
@@Roadrash109 Doin it for dale!
Cleetus is using an iron 6 bolt lsx block though. not a studded 4 bolt aluminum resleeve
Hell Yeah Brother!
My first thought as well lol
Richard “what you doin?” Strapping it down, Richard “that thing ain’t goin no where ” . Cut to shot of truck driving off with load strapped down.
That's how rich people do things. They have more money then brains.
As a business owner/ electrical contractor, this crew looks and sounds like the kind of crew a business like this and mine could only dream of.
The conversing of the job. The dedication of the crew. The attention to detail is all amazing and a pipe dream to many of us.
i think they getting paid well for leaving that kind of passion on the job
@@xowz as I did mine.
Try paying your people
@@NoProHarrie Couldn't quite read the entire post? Huh.
Maybe do so before posting. It'll make you appear less ignorant in the future.
@@chrischapman276 I read it and you talk like bosses I have who didn't pay me untill I had one foot out the door. Your reaction to me sounds even worse so I will assume worse about you from now on.
Dedicated team of guys working towards a common goal. You hired the right people Richard. Now give them a bonus and a week off. Beautiful truck too
Jon Elliott bonus and a week off. LMFAO😂😂. Yeah ok
ya right lol
Jon Elliott yeah he’s gonna be cracking a whip to show all other shops that it can be done. This team knows they are in for one as far as sleeping, it’s gonna have to wait till their build is done. I wish I could have a shop n tools to do many projects all it take is a lot of $$$ it’s a very expensive hobby to have
Anthony Valles it’s not a hobby they make money lol
Absolutely! Richard has done this more than once. You people really are vicious. Try a little kindness and tolerance. Your attitudes are what's got this country so fucked up, among other things, big and small. Don't like my opinion, bit me.
The paint quality is better than when this truck was brand new. Awesome project. Thank you Richard and hats off to your great GasMonkey crew of professionals.
Me personally I'd rather it have the factory paint and motor.
wow Richard, if only you had this crew when Aaron was around. These guys are big league compared to the old Monkeys. Bravo.
Ah I could feel the tiredness on the team on the last days! Tremendous job everyone!
I have a 1977 c-10 stepside, so I watch as many truck builds as I can to get ideas for my own use. Keep up the killer builds.
Thank you for being real and starting your own shit. Wont miss a episode! Keep up the hard work
Love his new/old shop. So big, so clean, looks organized.
It's good that you can literally have all the parts you need to perform a build like this. Here in South Africa we have to go into the forest to dig up and gather raw materials.
Chads an excellent #1, and he really brings out the best of this crew, mad respect!
all the takuaches right now 🤤
Yeah cuh
Fr 😂
Damn right 💀
Hahahaahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is that a Texas term
It’s crazy to think they did all of this in 54 minutes and 14 seconds!
LOVE THIS SHOW ! Good to see it on youtube. Haven't been able to see my favorite show since I disconnect cable. I like this episode because I own 1991 Chevy Silverado, stepside.
If this guys not blowing lines of snow i have no clue how he has this much energy lmao
Money high
They should make a weekly show like this and call it Overhaulin'
What a great idea
Well overhaulin does have a bigger team and the lead guy works on the build
Wow that was incredible. Great build in record time. Excellent Crew all working together to get the job done.
Nobody:
Richard: pulls up in a new car everyday

That's what I noticed. Must be nice.
@@Xatarino nadie:

Hey reminds me of the boss's son..
They don't let him come on my jobs no more I'll leave.
@@lilstewert6234 crees que no se inglés?
I love how the crate was still strapped down in the next scene after he told him NOT to strap it down😂
Yeah, not hauling that motor without securing it for sure...
Cliff Niiranen niether would I but why make a point to tell him not to strap it down,
Film the scene of him not strapping it down then the every next scene it’s strapped down by a bright orange strap😂 I got a good kick out of it lol
ArtiCat motor had to have alrdy been made for GMG
317 G there’s always the one oblivious commenter that the original comment has obviously gone straight over there head
317 G that literally has nothing to do with what I’m talking about....
This is really cool, I’m impressed with the skills shown to get this build done!
I think you guys are the absolute best that hes ever had on there you've worked your way around a few other people that don't work there anymore almost stress free my hats off to you
Richard is like, “You guys need to work 15 hour days all week. I’ll be showing up late and drinking beer by 4 o’clock Get on it.”
He’s making them go insane😂
“Hey how’s the wiring going?”
“Spaghetti” 💀💀💀
Perks of being the boss.
I work 13 hours a day, for the last 7 years plus i work 6 days on seven. And 'officially' i work 8 hours/day,5 days a week, so most the money is in an envelop at the end of the month. Tax free😏...
I can tell you guys that its more then worth it.
The boss aka owner gets to do that, it's the perks of righting the checks.
ig its perks of the job. but Thats why he looses guys all the time
Richard your team killed it the Monkey way always love to see the old school looking new, don't stop keep killing it I look forward to every ounce of your efforts, Gas Monkey for Life!!!!
Come on fella's take that well deserved ice creme break. Richard would join in if he were there. GasMonkey forever.
37:21 forgot his watch at home 😂😂
Best part “why didn’t you tell him to bring us some ice cream”
Richard you have the G.O.A.T.s of the car building world what a great job nobody does it better!
Y'know, I would love to find a shop to do a body off resto and refresh on my 1992 Caprice. What makes this enjoyable is seeing the process from start to finish.
The camera work during the wheel job was art....he gave us a two in one
I love how he says “we did this. We did that” like he did something 😂
He fed them 👌🏾👍🏼
Just cuz he isn’t getting his hands dirty doesn’t mean he doesn’t play a big role in everything. He’s put his hard work in building the company to what it is today.
I’ve never ever seen him working on any vehicle!
In the very beginning it was only Richard and Aaron doing the work and sometime Casey the old paint guy would help out I’ve seen him work plenty I. The beginning but not so much anymore which is understandable he is the boss and earned his right to not have to get his hands dirty anymore and I’m sure with the amount of money he pays his guys along with what they get from the show they aren’t bothered at all lol
So the guy that writes checks to his employees, has nothing to do with the company or anything his employees do right?
Richard is killing this with his guys.
Hell this is better than Discovery put it all together.
You mentioned night shift minion Richard?
I'd sign up straight away.
Ha.....
Incredible! Richard you have one amazing team
I always loved the clean simple body lines on those 90's Chevy pick ups.....
Love that paint job! The guys really knocked it out of park on this one 👍
Love every minute of this episode... You're awesome!!!
That's a badass truck. But more important that's a badass team! Congrats guys you done killed it.
Richard is the man.......Great job guys great work ..
Coolest video, ever! Ya'll need to quit hatin on Richard! Understand that persona is makin him 💵!!! Lots of it! Got a crew that gets down!! I ain't mad 👍🏾
GET U SOME OF THAT!!
Been in the bodyshop repairs trade myself I love watching the monkeys at work! Just awesome team work 🤘Badass man! Wooow
My absolute dream car that OBC...nice
This is no doubt the finest custom truck that I have ever seen in 72 years, bar none! The looks and the mechanicals are as good as they get. The Budnicks are the icing on the cake. The only choice for a build of this caliber. Thank you guy’s and even Richard. (The wallet).
This gives a really understanding about hard it is to make good TV programmes. All those people on set behind the camera do make the difference. This is a very good effort though with a minimal production team. Truck looks Gr8! 👍🏻
That burn out was gorgeous 😍
5 workers, 5 days.Yup, you can do it. Watched you for years. Thanks for being a clean guy.
Still see Danny?
Dang! I need to come hang out with y'all for a week and let y'all work on my 1990 C1500 Silverado 😄 Great job fellas 👍🏻
Loved this....start to finish..miss it so much ...Great job👊👍👌
Definitely a HAND SALUTE to the crew. If you vehicle engineers aren’t making a six figure paycheck you should go on strike for sure. SEMPER FIDELIS
P
Beautiful truck, amazing work, amazing team!!!!
We need more of this, a build from start to finish and we saw all of it.
I wonder what Richard's coke bill is a month
😂😂😂🤣🤣
Lotsa noses to feed at that speed, I can see it from my window!
alot. hate these types. at least the the crew is good.
LOL I thought the same thing . That’s why I think HE’S late all the time . He is wound up tight ,that for sure .Hasn’t gone home to go to sleep yet, still has last nights car with him .
more than yours dont hate
This is the Crew you should have the whole time from day one !
I didn't even have to watch the whole video of the know they were going to do it you guys are the best I love the OBS can't wait to finish this video and see what happens
This is the reason everyone thinks their 90s OBS is worth 10k-15k 😂
Believe it or not, prices are rising slowly but surely.
@@Gucci_Peralta true but most these obs guys think thier truck is worth just as much as a 60s muscle car 😂
@@thehumancrumb.668 man I wish 60s muscle cars were 15k, they're more like 40k+
Nah I know damn well I ain’t gonna more than $4k for mine
@@Vaigue nah bruh in tx where I live some guy was selling a restored 70 el camino for 11k
Love that color, so very close to the color of my 55 chevy I built in high school. In 1970. great show
Working 2 weeks in one week! Holy shit these guys need a massive bonus!
Excited to see GasMonkey builds on RUclips!! Hope to see more soon.
Do more builds like the one you just did where we actually see start to finish live i enjoyed it and watching
I just want to say thank you and I appreciate all that you do see what the future and brings us these are good times and more to come
Doing what you do-do-do. Great idea! looking forward to it all.
Beautiful truck and gorgeous work BUT they definitely should’ve went with 22s, they just fill the fender wells perfectly on an OBS…not too big, not too small👌🏼
I think they will. It would be cool to get Aaron to come back for a special build some time.
Absolutely love this format; keep knocking it out of the park Gas Monkeys !!!
Very well put together I enjoyed that thank you
That is one awesome truck Richard you are the man
That is a really nice truck, very good work on that project.
Great job by the team- awesome build. Congratulations !
What's really impressive is how much camera setup work the mechanics ALSO do.
It would be nice to get a list of vendors and parts for these builds so people could build something similar
Yes it would. I see that 88 other folks feel the same since they hit the like thumbs up..
Phillip Hall
The again, I guess a mechanic doesn't tell all his secrets...
Phillip Hall
Love this format
Beautiful job guys
I have a 93 and this vid makes me want to do something similar
🤙
Love these full segment videos
Kudos to GMG for all much work and dedication non stop 5 day build
That rear bumper scene was _PRICELESS!_ 🤣
Awsome job. It looks fantastic.
Beautiful job. Love the truck.
great job boys, the sound of the exhaust brilliant.
Stavros in Florida caught your video and enjoyed it thank you, maybe see more and Richard can we in future see some of the dragon lady. But definitely enjoying the video.
You must be proud to have good guy working for you. They are great❤
Richard: You wanna punch me right now but you won’t..
Lmfao had to
Wow you guys nailed it great job Richard you got a good team there you better keep them happy
Absolutely loved watching this group of gentlemen ✌🏻
Hey Richard and whoever is in charge of the show. I loved this episode. No fake drama, some BTS. Just guys bustin out a project. Please make this a main staple filming practice. Thanks
"Great Job Guy's, Even You Chad" What kinda low blow is that lmao Great build.... Even you Chad!! hahahaha
This is a badass build !
Dam this is awesome. This has given us some great ideas for our chevy builds thanks gas monkeys and your show is great 👍
Si quema cuuhh puro tackuache cuuhh 😎😂😂 52:39
Puro v8 cuh
Richard be like “ no bathroom 🚽 breaks , use diapers
Itz just an act now....hollow fucking bullshit.it was good in the beginning on Dis covery.
Not a huge fan of R.R. but a very big fan of Paul K. Had no idea how much STUFF he has. He has helped me out several times!
Wow Richard you have a hell of a team take care of them boyz
Love the blue color and looks great , great job congrats to the team.
TOP TEAM good to see the full build!
I envy you guys. I started my project 4 years ago and then had a massive stroke that forced me to give up the job I had that provided me with the funds to build it. I've been soldiering on, but have been making most of the bits myself, as I can't afford to pay someone else to do it and we don't have the massive aftermarket that you do in the USA, so we have to do true hot rodding and make stuff to make it work.
I really envy the massive aftermarket industry you have over there, but what you're doing is not hot rodding
75 shop hours = 375 man hours.....just a little prospective, one huge build in 5 days. Well done Gas Monkeys'!!!
Great job so far💯🔥👍
O trabalho desta oficina e top demais sou muito fã desta equipe parabéns 👏
This truck looks awesome but it would’ve been nice to go with a Oem style rally rim
That’s a dream right there. Right out when I’m out of the marines I’m building something like that.
22 years as a mechanic. This is the first car show I have seen where their is little drama. The guys are treated pretty well. I hated the OCC and American muscle shows. My first shop was the same drama show run by Boomers. All of us Gen X run shops now. Times have changed. Mechanics are treated a lot better now.
