I agree with everything you stated. But is it the big 10 with 18 teams? I’ll be doing this as well at some point in a dynasty or try to bring it back to start in a run!
@cswee123 yeah, they've got 18 right now. Thankfully, several of them are former Pac-12, so it'll be easier than it sounds to trim them down to just 10. I actually think it'll be a little harder to decide on the Big 12, who IIRC has 16 teams right now and has a lot of teams that have been part of it in the past, but aren't right now.

My thought process is get back to P5, but limit them to 12 teams each then only the academies and Hawaii as independents. For the P5 we start by rebuilding the PAC, but swap Colorado for BYU. BYU is actually a PAC school and if they weren't affiliated with the church they would have been added over Colorado, luckily we do not have to worry about church affiliations in a video game. Just so everybody knows , you can’t move Oregon State and Washington State out of the PAC. You either have to keep it as it is or restore it. No option to get rid of it.
So today I recently started my dynasty with Akron. And with that I shook the conferences up a bit. With the Big Ten I took away Maryland,Rutgers,Nebraska,Oregon,Washington,UCLA and USC and replaced them with Notre Dame. The Big 12 brings back Nebraska,Texas,Oklahoma,Mizzouri,Texas A&M and I even included SMU. The SEC now has NC State and Georgia Tech. That's all for now😂
@@cswee123 Yeah I tried to bring some football nostalgia back to the SEC. Georgia Tech fans are STILL pissed about them leaving the SEC in 1964. So I decided to cheer them up
My big question is on Team builder. Will it be like NCAA Football 14 were we have to swap teams or will we be able to add a Certain amount of teams without having to swap?
From what they have said so far it will be like the older versions. So you will babe go pick a team to go. If sucks hopefully they change if going forward
Yeah you have to replace a current team. I think EA is worried about scheduling and stuff (plus how the game would handle extra teams) falling apart if there are more than 134 teams.
@@cswee123 Yeah, if they didn't basically name the FCS directionals tributes to content creators, I would propose just replacing those schools, but now I don't think that is the way to go.
The main change I think I want is to just dump the PAC and move those two to the Mountain West or move all the MW teams to the PAC. I would also move all the independent teams to a conference. Except ND. They have so many rivals it would be impossible to play them all in a conference.
I would like to see that as well. Or give us the option to remove a conference right now you’ll have to fill up the PAC12 if you want to move those guys. And ND seems like it would fit well in the Big 10 or ACC bud what you’re saying makes a lot of sense
Sec get NC, NC State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Big 10 get Florida St and Clemson. Big 12 gets Louisville, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Miami. Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech swap as Georgia Tech is finally admitted back to the SEC. ACC becomes, Boston College, Duke, SMU, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest. Possible Division North App St Boston College East Carolina JMU Liberty Temple Uconn Vanderbilt South Duke Rice SMU Tulane Tulsa UAB USF Wake Forest
So I'm doing power 5 and i made them 13 teams each and i set it to 12 conference games so they all play each other but for some reason some teams don't play everyone in their conference and instead play against FCS teams
I am not sure when you tried this but if it was before yesterday morning the scheduling logic was screwed. You may want to try now EA mentioned they fixed some of the logic so hopefully they fixed this. Fingers crossed

The Big 12 brings back Nebraska,Texas,Oklahoma,Mizzouri,Texas A&M and I even included SMU. The SEC now has NC State and Georgia Tech. That's all for now😂
Sounds like a fun shake up to me, hope you stick around!
@@cswee123 Yeah I tried to bring some football nostalgia back to the SEC. Georgia Tech fans are STILL pissed about them leaving the SEC in 1964. So I decided to cheer them up
I put the southwest and big 8 in the Big 12 then added old miss, Mississippi State and LSU.
I like that. Could definitely see that be a thing in an alternate time line
Appreciate the Big East mention
Gotta love the big east
I wonder how the MEAC felt that they werent included in the game.
It probably wasn't that big of a deal, would have loved to see FCS in the game
If I can I will try to make two giant east and west conferences
Limits are 20 per conference. Not bad to have two 20 team juggernauts on each coast
Nvm I commented before the video finished and I didn't know you were limited to 20
I will probably make a bigger version of the swc
No worries man! Still plenty of other options, hope you stick around!
I will probably make a bigger version of the swc
For Texas add Arkansas and La. teams to get to 20
Arkansas teams, include Arkansas St
Not a bad one. Would be more fitting I would feel than marrying the big 8 with it
My big question is on Team builder. Will it be like NCAA Football 14 were we have to swap teams or will we be able to add a
Certain amount of teams without having to swap?
From what they have said so far it will be like the older versions. So you will babe go pick a team to go. If sucks hopefully they change if going forward
Yeah you have to replace a current team. I think EA is worried about scheduling and stuff (plus how the game would handle extra teams) falling apart if there are more than 134 teams.
I think just adding 1 would work. If you add 2+ you have to replace. Would just be nice to not have to kill a team
Then you could make the Marigold Tulane Southern Ivy with added Tulane, Rice, USF, East Carolina, Appalachian St, JMU, Liberty, Temple, Tulsa, Uconn, UAB Metro and Top Ivy Institutions.
Possible Division
North
App St
Boston College
East Carolina
JMU
Liberty
Temple
Uconn
Vanderbilt

SMU

USF
Wake Forest
That’s pretty interesting may give it a run down the road
That’s pretty interesting may give it a run down the road
Add Miami And Virginia tech and WVU and the big East it’s back!! But in the American conference
You could go that route too, tried not to completely dismantle the ACC but that may be what happens in real life!
I’m an Aztec and I’m doing a dynasty with them and made a pact 12 mountain west hybrid in the pac 12 with usc Washington Washington state Oregon state San Diego state Nevada fresno state Boise state UNLV Utah Colorado state and a Radom one Houston just for fun
Heck yeah that sounds like fun
So I got rid of the independents entirely and now my game is “glitched” to where I can’t access the sun belt because the tab for the independents is gone but the page for it is still there with no add school button,is there anyway I could fix this?
First I’ve heard of the glitch. Pretty sure there is a link to report this on their website but not positive
@@cswee123 oh ok cool, I’ll check that out
I have this same glitch @@Miniduck9013
I have the same glitch
Nah. F Big schools. Let's go to the mid 2000s MAC school - Kent State, Akron, Miami, Ohio, Toledo, BGSU, Buffalo, NIU, Ball State, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, UMass, Marshall, UFC,
I didn’t even realize Marshall UCF were ever in the MAC but that would be cool. A little unfair with UCF as they get Florida as a pipeline
So for my pac 12 I have all California teams including Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon state, Washington and Washington state..
For my MWC I have Arizona, Arizona state, Colorado, Colorado state, Nevada, UNLV, Utah, Utah State, BYU, Boise State, New Mexico and New Mexico State.
For my big 12. I have all of texas in there which is 13 teams.
Kind of struggling with other conferences trying to make everyone close to each other
Try keeping the big conferences intact and then taking 1-2 and moving around. It can snowball pretty quick
Do you have any updates to this cause I really like what you’re doing with the conferences
Update?
@@BillyWitherspoon it’s working out nicely surprisingly Boise state and Colorado constantly top 25 Texas A&M just won in my dynasty over Oregon
@@NoMoreTortillas1 did you ever figure out the other conferences or did you just go those cause I like this idea and I was trying it, but I was also struggling with where to put the other schools
I didn’t see an option for conference protected rivalries like ‘14, even though it clearly states you can make protected teams, just didn’t see the option
They do say that, pretty sure it is a glitch and it should be fixed in the first update
💪🏽💪🏽
This is the best video on the channel by everything, really proud of it glad you liked it!
How do I leave a conference and join a new one mid season
You can't do that only during the pre season
@@cswee123do you know how to do it after you complete a season?
@@Tthompson390if you’re in Dynasty itll say “Custom Conference” during the off season in the weekly to do list. That’s only time you can do it
How do you realign?
I just responded to your other message
ND, UVA, VT big 10 drop Rutgers
UNC, NCSU, Miami and GT to SEC
Louisville, FSU, Clemson and Boise to big 12
ACC… buckle up: Memphis, ECU, Liberty, Rutgers, App State, Coastal, Tulane, Southern Miss, Amy, Navy, Oregon State, and WAZZU
Let the 20 team conference chaos commence.
I wanted to do 3 group of 5 super conferences but was only able to get them down to 2 4 team conferences and 2 14 team conferences
Not a bad realignment would be interesting with the 20 team conferences
