Also is that water that you put on the canvas at the beginning? And is that acrylic paint. Thank you so much for inspiring me to try something different

I'm always in awe with your skills and the beautiful work you do. What do you use to get your paint to blend so well? Is it a heavy paint or mixed with gesso? I want to be able to blend my backgrounds better and haven't figured out how you do it!
Was wondering the same thing. The paint seems pretty opaque and thin. I’m wondering if it’s either diluted with water or just thin pouring paint?
