I have all of his videos, they have helped me immensely, I went from not doing any art for 20 years to being re-inspired by the work of Mix Lang. Never painted before but with diligence & good instruction (mostly from him) I have sold 7seven of my paintings, & Im learning more every day. Thank you, Mr. Lang for helping us amateurs
Thank you Michael for sharing your techniques with us. Not many so talented and well known Artist are willing to do this. You realized that every painter has its own style and nobody can make it looking like your Art! So Thanks again!
Michael I just want to thank you for this video and all the others you've posted. I can honestly say that your work intrigues me in its beauty and softness. You are my favourite artist on this amazing planet. 🎨😊🎨
Watched this about fifteen times over the last six months. Everytime I watch this particular piece being done I notice you do the divide in a blend then define. Giving clarity where it was once lost. It seems definition of character is the remains of the day and is the deciding factor. Where we end up is surely the deciding factor of what we did yesterday. Love your work Sir.
Absolutely stunning and I’m glad to see you painting with both hands, glad to see I’m not the only one that does that. I always thought I was a little weird painting with both hands because nobody else does that. I’m not as good but maybe one day. And to think my art teacher told me to stop doing that.
I just attempted this from the video- and it came out so so beautifully. After the medium dried it looked so much better! It reminds me of outer space. I want to paint a whale into this background and add a few more layers (make it my own). I will look into buying or renting your videos. You are such an inspiring artist. Thank you for your generosity and service for making this world a more artistic and better place.
First time I see an artist working with three brushes in his hands at the same time. Amazing painting. I love it . Wonderful combination of colors and such depth and light. 🧡💙💛❤️💚
I've watched this 3 times today. Amazed everytime. I hope to one day have talent as amazing as yours. Love your videos. Will definitely order the dvds.
Pure awesomeness extraordinary art . Incredibly talented I love this I watch every painting. Would love to know if it is ACRYLIC PAINT , I HAVE TO ORDER YOUR BRUSHES. MARVELOUS THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Dear Mr Lang. Your work is very much inspiring ! I was searching for a radical change in my artwork (fantastic realism) in order to gain a different approach to colors, volumes and expression, so to develop the new procedure and integrate it further in to my style. you gave me the push I needed. I hope to achieve a new orientation based on your beautiful technique working more on the inspirative side without loosing the long term preparation (weeks) to get a complete and detailed artwork. Your art shall give me the texture and mood to fix the final concept in a new and harmonious environment. Thanks for your videos and again my best acknowledgment to your art. (Bock form Venezuela.)
It's gorgeous, I love it. Could you or someone else please answer a silly question? Your canvas appears wet when you begin. Have you put a white base coat on it or have you wet it with water?
Always like watching your demonstrations! I'd like to know what shade of green that was you used. I really liked it and not sure it was the standard green.
Hi Michelle, Its called Phthalo green, you will love it. If you use it as a wash over Cerulean blue you get the most beautiful turquoise you have ever seen. Try it you'll want to use it all the time!
I'm going to have to give it a try. I have not used that color much. It always seemed so dark to me, but, I guess using it as a glaze may make it lighter. I'll be giving it a try. Thanks for the tip about using it with Cerulean Blue. Can't wait to give it a try. I really liked the look of it in this painting. It's beautiful. As always, its a delight to watch your demo's. I'm going to have to pick up your latest DVD. I think you have one more new one that I have not purchased yet.
Mr Lang, would you use the same technique while painting a space scene with a black back ground. And are you letting the paint dry before applying the next color. Thank you for your time. Eric,
hi,sir u r abstract paintings are amazing, can show the demo of splash painting,i try myself , its not go through, can u please show the technique of how to get splash ,thanks
Thank you for sharing... What blending brush in your left hand are you using without cleaning and not making mud? And how do you keep your paints from drying??? I see you are using a slow dry medium, however the paint, I only saw you refresh once... Thank you in advance.
hi your white primed surface looks very ship at the beginning have you covered this with the matt medium and work into it while wet? doesn't it dry quickly tho which would prevent you from blending as you do. just wondered how it looked to smooth and easy to move around. thanks in advance x
Mr. Lang this is my first time watching your video I am amazed by your skills. I want to know if you are using Golden soft body, fluid or heavy body. What size and brand of brushes are you using? It looks like a filber larger than a number 10 and a flat I was wondering is the bristles of the brush are extra firm. I am going to try to create this master piece! I subscribed to your channel can't wait to see what you create next.
...always inspiring for me to watch and learn as i want to create the depth AND especially the light you bring to your paintings - i will try to copy some of your technique [ at first ] in hopes it will bring me to my own intuitive style - THANK YOU brother !
Just another fan here saying Thanks! You blew me away several times with what looked to be too extreme bright colors at the final stages but I knew it would all work. I continue to be amazed by your creative approach that seems a bit on the wild side. :-) Also; the camera work is spot on.
Extraordinary... I have no words to describe your art. Very nice. I'm interested to know what acrylic medium do you use? Thanks for this videos very inspiring.
Hi Michael ,another nice painting and video thankyou but i have a small question, can you please tell me what the make and size or name of the brushes you are using are as i have always liked the look of them ,many thanks ,Dave
This was mesmerizing to watch you paint this. You are so talented with both hands! Stunning work Michael. Thank you for posting this for us to watch. :)
Mr. Lang, I love your work! Its very relaxing and pleasing to watch! I teach a children's art program in my area, for free... (trying to reach out to all walks of life, not letting any child be without the opportunity to explore art) I was hoping you may give me some of your time, to let me know what you would say to young children wanting to experience and explore art for the first time?
Hello Mr Lang. I just purchased your video "Summer Rain" and an eager to begin painting. I noticed that you gave no info on what brand of paint and what medium you use. I was wondering if you have a DVD that explains what products you use? Your work is very beautiful, and while I know I will not be able to produce work equal to yours it would be very helpful to have this info. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful paintings.
Hi, The reason I don't mention it is because I don't think its that important. I try different brands and colors all the time and use what I like. I have a tendency to use alot of Winsor and Newton in the acrylics along with Liquitex and many others. I also use Liquitex mediums but its just preference. I can paint with any brand of tools and materials and just adjust to there characteristics. the important thing is that your always painting and creating.Hope this helps, Enjoy...MIX
Dear Michael, I have been in awe of your talent and style - it is absoultly amazing to see you create. I am new to painting and so inspired by your work. I recently purchased your video "Summers Rain". May I ask what type of medium you use? My big question is, somehow about 3/4 of the way through it I lost my focal point and everything became one dimensional :-/ it started out so well. Can I begin again painting ontop of this pretty drab painting or should I start out fresh. It seems a waste when such beautiful colors are present. Thank you so much for your response.
This is completely awesome. Do you use soft body or heavy body acrylics? I suppose with the right medium you could use either, but I'm just curious as to which you prefer.
Hi, I'm in love with your artwork. One question when you do the art piece do you already have the layout on what your going to do in your mind already, or do you just plan as you go?

Bonsoir, vous avez une inspiration divine. Vos couleurs, vos coups de pinceau sont magiques. Vous êtes une vraie inspiration pour moi. Merci

Hi, Glad you like! I really don't use Golden paints very often. The brushes are basic mural brushes #30, #40, #50. with nylon and natural bristles.
What medium are you using? Love the technique!😊
Your imagination is beyond the nature and color combination just perfect perfect perfect
Thank you very much you make my day
Absolutely gorgeous!

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the amazing video. What is the brush that you use in the starting of the video?
Its a #50 Mural brush!
Just another fan here saying Thanks! You blew me away several times with what looked to be too extreme bright colors at the final stages but I knew it would all work. I continue to be amazed by your creative approach that seems a bit on the wild side. :-) Also; the camera work is spot on.

This was mesmerizing to watch you paint this. You are so talented with both hands! Stunning work Michael. Thank you for posting this for us to watch. :)
Hi Michael, is there big difference between Liquitex and Golder Matte Medium?
Your blending goes really good and easy.
Hi Alan, there all an acrylic polymer, one might be thicker or thinner than the other but basically the same, shouldnt affect the blend!
You're such an amazing artist man, it's almost discouraging haha. My stuff looks like hell.
Beautiful blending and colorpallette. What is the use of the second washer in your left hand?
Feathers out paint so it blends into the next gently...imo
Bonne utilisation des Couleurs complémentaires pour le début du tableau.👀👌.
Wow!!! Wow Wow! so inspired by your work....thank you so very much...you paint with the same like mindness as I
Thanks for sharing... wonderful as always!
J'adore votre travail, ce tableau est superbe , j'ai l'impression d'être la-haut où tout est Paix et Amour!
Awesome painting! How do you thin out the paint? I thought you were using white paint but it seems like it's just a thinner of some sort.
acrylic medium!
Trés belle oeuvre merci❤
is it liquitex ?it seems to be high quality acrylics?.tx anyways for sharing your skills..

Amazing as always! Precioso. Vackert. Congratulations.
I Love this Painting! Bravo!
Hi,
Young and new to the abstract painting world. May i know which paints you have used? And blending is strictly with a dry brush?
Mr. Lang, I love your work! Its very relaxing and pleasing to watch!

Sorry I meant brushes :)
