I struggled finding some advanced exercises that are not just hand isolations with a micro hoop, the hooping studio is a goldmine really, now I'm able to do stuff i never Imagine i could do in 100 years. Enough with the waist hooping and shaking your arms about!
Reading this really made my day 💗 thank you, gorgeous 💋💋💋 people still keep demanding arm shaking moves from me wanting to do more and more hand hooping when there's already so much of that online and that doesn't quite change physique, just keeps the brain busy. But when we start unlocking amazing features all our body parts can do, both the brain & body are entertained and we can achieve moves we never imagined were possible for us. Every day just getting better, noticing something new about ourselves. So grateful for your kind words, thank you so much for showing up and being open minded & kind & curious 💗 have a magical weekend ✨️ 💖
You can sculpt super gorgeous quads, darling 💗 if you just want to hula hoop to get those quads, the good news is: I ONLY HULA HOOP 💗 so no need to go to a gym or get fancy equipment - a hoop is enough 💪 you've got all you need 🫶 There are actually a whole bunch of moves that I do with my hula hoop that help quads development. I am glad you are interested! Most people go on about abs or just glutes but I personally have lots of quads love 😂 I absolutely appreciate it when I see a gorgeous set of quads 🤣 With a hoop waist hooping only is not really impactful - I spin all over my body and waist hooping is just a tiny part of what I do. Gradually one can get fitter and learn moves that are more for strength, power & even plyometrics. Those are good for hypertrophy. Volume training. My strength & power hoop moves are organised into sets and active recovery to maximise volume. This is in my conditioning workouts on my website. Here on RUclips I do not do them because most people are beginners and click around for tricks. I do not believe that is good for our physiology. I organise the tricks and moves into programmes: starting from the basics and easiest moves that a beginner can start with. Then through progressive overload I make the moves more demanding. That makes it possible for individuals to work their way through more complex training sessions. I upload complete follow along step-by-step conditioning workout videos on my website so it is not rocket science, just got to follow the steps in the courses. That was a long answer but basically to sum it up: it is not just important what exercises we do it also matters how our sets are organised most hula hoopers do not even bother looking up the meaning of a set or a training protocol... which is fine! but to sculpt a body, one needs to stimulate muscles. without the right kind of stimulation: there's no adaptation triggered. An adaptation would be: growth of quads. That can only be achieved with volume. So if you want quads, you want volume 💋
Minka would tell you I'm like this all the time 🤣 she can be so grumpy and negative and focus on problems all the time that I developed this comedy side of me since I had her, just to cheer her up and divert her attention... probably I was the same, too. No clue. Often I get messages and I am blown away that it's always the problems and the drama and the heartbreak. It takes a bit of discipline to catch ourselves and turn our excuses and pains into strengths and blessings. I suppose it's a journey of learning. It's so not helpful and drains so much energy when we take things seriously and it feels so heavy and can get worse and worse... it almost feels like I'm here to teach Minka to learn to focus on the positives and enjoy life and not be a perfectionist. Always wanting to do everything perfectly is the sure recipe to feel forever like a failure. It's so much better for our mental health to just have fun 💖 so I hope it is something I can pass on even in my videos. To not stress but see the benefits, the wins, the opportunities 💖 always so much to feel pumped about & grateful for ✨️💫

Thank you, Gorgeous 💗 I think self-talk and how we feel about ourselves is the most important... if we do not feel deserving then we won't make time for ourselves... most people say they cannot afford to buy a hula hoop... it is not even that expensive to buy a hoop really and on junk food and nails, a conservatory or holidays they probably spend a lot more... so what they are saying really is not that they cannot afford a hoop but they are not that high up on their own priority list. They do not think they will make time for themselves & they will invest energy into learning about their bodies and working on their well-being. But the conservatory or the holiday or the eating out is ok... it took me some time, too to understand that the property I live in will never make me feel as epic as the body I live in... and that escaping my life for a week or 2 on a fancy holiday will never feel as epic as feeling irresistible in my body all year round... I did not actually believe I can feel better or that I can make a difference. Forking out some cash on a holiday is easier than believing in ourselves especially if the voices around us have not been very uplifting - we internalise the voices and we run on that programme... the moment we rewrite our programming, we achieve miracles and dreams beyond imagination! Happy hooping, darling! lots of love to you 💗

Really informative, Bee 🐝 Videos like these are great because I fully believe more people would try, and stick, to hooping if they knew how to make the most of it. There's so much misinformation about hooping out there. Also I've been practicing double hooping recently, which has upped the intensity a lot. I already want a third hoop to stack 😂😂😂 I've been bitten by the hoop bug. I envision myself with a closet full of hoops soon. Great video, and that dress looks beautiful on you! 💚💚💚

You are an absolute angel! Thank you 💗 Double Hooping indeed is wild! people normally tend to choose weighted hoops because they think the heavier it is the more shredded they will look... the better the workout... they have no idea... even trying to keep 2 lighter hoops together just simply around your waist is such intensity it is unbelievable. Such a simple way to make a workout hard again! I hope you soon treat yourself to a 3rd hoop... then a 4th 🤪 definitely got the hoop bug, now there's no hope for you 🤣 and look how far you got... how much you learnt, how much more you understand your body & hooping & fitness... I hope you pause sometimes & feel pumped about your achievements! you are making insane progress!
I struggled to find a hdpe hoop so settled for a mdpe one, but I’m worried that it’s too light? I did ask before it was made if it would be lighter and was advised it wouldn’t make much difference. I’m only just managing to keep it up, after a week or so learning, for a couple of minutes at a time but it doesn’t feel like there’s any beating up at all. I’m wondering if I do need a heavier hoop or can somehow add weight to this one?
Hello Sally 💖 can you please weigh your hoop for me? Just to have a rough idea of what you're dealing with 😚 It doesn't have to violently smack you but just like if you went for a massage: usually a good massage treatment doesn't start off turning your skin red from the beginning but it keeps going and in 30minutes or so you see some redness... not insane redness but it visibly has increased circulation and it looks more alive and stimulated. My skin is now super used to being beaten up by a hoop so because of that, I don't get much redness anymore. But connective tissue that is new to this experience and is not yet used to being beaten up usually would show visible signs. Good to try your hoop all over your body and see: some parts are pretty fit and strong whereas other parts are unfit and never doing anything. So different body parts respond differently, too. I, e.g., love doing tricks on thighs because I've had cellulite since I was 17 and my skin always looked outrageous there, no matter what I did... but since I consistently do tricks of all kinds around my thighs- the skin tone changed significantly! I'm not saying I turned into a Victoria's secret model but right now at the age of 39 my thighs look A LOT better than when I was 17... so different body parts may respond differently. For me my thighs were softies and they got bruised and red initially more than my waist area. And the changes I achieved on my thighs really are mind blowing. Too heavy hoops I don't recommend. Those you would only be able to use around your core. So it can lead to overuse injury. I get messages daily from people who have been using the weighted ones and now waiting for surgery and asking me what exercises they can do... well I cannot turn back time... I wish... that would be a great exercise... to turn back time and not develop a hernia with a weighted hoop... now they cannot do anything at all, waiting for the surgeon to fix them... it is devastating when you make the decision to start getting fit, start your self-care & wellness chapter to end up being able to do absolutely nothing.... So please pop your hoop on the scales for me & also take some clothes off for hooping 👌💪😚
@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper thank you so much for reply lovely reply. I’ve just weighed my hoop and it’s 1.2 pounds. I’m looking forward to using it on other parts of my body, but I’m trying to master the waist first before moving on. @@sallyallerton9279 same here... the space I have is tiny. All my hooping I do in the kitchen... all my videos are filmed exactly there... in the kitchen. It's pathetic I know.
