Well, in my live classes I provide the two fitness hoops I use in my classes... • Heavy Dance Hoop (Black): 100cm | 39" diameter hoop with 25mm | 1" thickness HDPE tubing, weighing 620g | 1.3lb. • Weighted Metal/Foam Hoop (Blue): 110cm | 43" in diameter with a metal core and foam, weighing 1.3kg | 2.8lb. I try people out on the Dance Hoop, if they can maintain the hoop around the waist then keep them with this one. Otherwise, if that is too difficult then give them the heavier one to try. This usually helps and they are able to then maintain it one the waist. In this video we are moving pretty fast, so I would recommend to use the Dance hoop over the weighted one. The heavier the hoop, the slower you move so it might be difficult to keep up in a workout like this one. What kind of hoop do you use?
