any idea of any 5 cubic foot chest freezer that can be turned down to run as a fridge???
Why weren't freezer ratings included in the 2022 Buyer's Guide?
unfortunately CR you can't buy a freezer anywhere right now. all freezers are on backorder till late August nationwide.
a 22 cu ft is now 900 due to inflation
CR has been a total disappointment for me in 2022 and part of 2021. I actually read the reviews, both from magazine and online. Imagine my surprise when I read things like: "This unit performs well. It does this. This other unit performs well. It does this better".
Seriously? Blatant lack of specificity to tests, endless scams in the mail about giveaways and "tickets" that "you win" to qualify for "the next phase".
CR has become the 90s Clearing House "YOU'VE WON" golden ticket you received in the mail every week. Then looking down the block you noticed that every neighbor also "won".
I'm going with Americans Test Kitchen instead. They actually do things.
