    I feel like Sanctuary is a slept on spell. Casting that as soon as you get into battle, Shadow is untouchable. But the time the 10 turns run out, battle is usually done with.

    Awesome build and video!
    There is a variation where you go 6 levels of Swords Bard and 5 levels of cleric. You basically loose Heroes feast but gain a lot of martial prowess and bard shenanigans

    • @Crozyn
      @Crozyn  5 месяцев назад +2

      Never heard of the swords bard variation. Interesting idea. Usually people do lore bard 6/life cleric 6 for magical secrets and projected healer.

      Yea but you would need charisma...Str for weapon atacks and utility, dex for initiative...con for saves and hp..int for wizard spels, wisdome and charistma for casting...

      @adrianop776 2 месяца назад

      @@joovannyy not really, use Dex only for bows attacks and prioritize int or charisma for spell casting... wisdom is not super important for casting the main cleric spells (spirit guardians, mass healing Word...)

    this is super helpful, thank you man! i'm not personally too keen on wizard, and i forgot to grab the headband of intellect before advancing to act 3, so when i respec'd i impulsively decided to take 3 levels in monk, to take advantage of unarmored defense with the wisdom modifier and give shadowheart a little more melee options outside of a weapon attack-- and it works absolutely amazing. bless every time i heal of course, and the dip into monk has given me insane mobility and 21 AC with supporting build items and no armor, although if i wanted to i could double monk melee damage with a drop to 18 AC by swapping 2 items, but considering this is a support build i'm sticking with the high AC. you're totally right about there being so many options to choose from for clerics when you're trying to round out or buff a build, lol! again, props and thank you, picking my way through this build has totally opened my mind towards making a non-tanky support tav, and getting more strategic with my starting ability points, which i've never really wanted to go after before

    • @Crozyn
      @Crozyn  4 месяца назад

      The 3 level monk dip is unique to me lol. If it's working stick with it, but you're probably better off using armour with a cleric, and 3 monk levels means no level 6 spell slot. Not too noticeable early, but later on you'd probably want those level 6 cleric spells or just 11 levels in a full spellcaster anyway.

    • @waltermitty6513
      @waltermitty6513 4 месяца назад

      @@Crozyn while i do agree with you that sticking with full cleric or 11 cleric 1 wizard has its perks, i honestly have to say i dont miss the lvl 6 spells at all. i ran this build through all netherbrain combat, and with it + two melee tanks and a stealth ranged, and i faced minimal issues. i threw sanctuary when i just wanted to be a full support, and in actual combat the unarmed attack bonus action was such a nice perk. i also had multiple equips that gave spell slot restorations and disadvantage to enemies, plus more healing options and the step of the wind monk actions (including the passive deflect missiles!), which were lifesavers-- but i understand how this build may not be perfect, simply because of how item dependent it is.

    A dedicated healer should really consider devotees mace for the healing aura, especially considering it does radiant damage. Other than that, great and powerful build, the only true healer in the the game alongside Warden of Vitality Lore Bards and Ancients Paladins.

    • @Crozyn
      @Crozyn  5 месяцев назад +2

      Devotees mace is great as well, but it only works per long rest and works better setting it up before a fight. Worst part is you gotta be near Shart. Additionally, I don't like setting spells up right before triggering a fight for 10 turns to get the most out of it.

  • @Crozyn

    This build is a revision of my pure life cleric Shadowheart build I made in the past. It's a better demonstration of the build overall and a fantastic build to use for honour mode. If you have any builds you'd like to see let me know!

    • @petergohan

      What about a fighter build that can attack 18 times in 4 turns?
      - 6 Fighter, subclass doesnt matters that much, but BM gives more control
      - 5 Warlock pact of the Blade
      - 1 War Domain Cleric, for the Cleric charges, making you attack again as a bonus action.
      It works like this:
      First just attack normally, because with deepened pact and extra attack, there's 3 attacks per turn at 10th levei, and with War Cleric charges available, you can make it 4 attacks with bonus action.
      Then, on the 4th turn, after the 3 normal attacks, use the good old action surge, for more 3 attacks, for a total of 18.
      Great old one is a good pick as a Warlock, because of mortal reminder, and EK could be an option just for the shield reaction, making you almost untouchable and also deadly.
      What you think?

      That's strange. I'm pretty sure I did this in the latest big patch, patch 6 I think? I'd make sure you're not looking at the cleric deva which will still show up as level 6 and might be on your action bar.

    Loving your build but I automatically pass on any build that wants me to grab wizard to get spells above first level. What should I do instead of that dip? I'd rather go sorcerer dip for con proficiency if the goal is to get the shield spell.

    • @Crozyn
      @Crozyn  5 месяцев назад +2

      The next best 1 level dip is probably cold draconic sorcerer for shield/magic missle, and armour of agathys, or storm sorcerer for fly as a bonus action.
      If you take sorcerer first you gain con proficiency, but lose proficiency in a whole bunch of weapons other than viable spears, quarterstaves, and daggers for Shadowheart.

    Great Build
    For the Weapon i think fE the Blood of Lathander will be better ..you dont really need the Str...and maybe take Sorcerer for Consaving instead of Wizard ,so you can take Warcaster for Proficiency and Advantage
    Especially in Honour Mode where Haste is nerfed
    What are your thoughts about this?
    Which extremely important spells does Wizard let you learn?
    What do you think it performs in comparison to a Life cleric/Lore Bard 2/10 with Warden of Vitality?

    • @Crozyn
      @Crozyn  3 месяца назад

      Haste was nerfed more for melee users, so it just depends on who you haste. And yeah, sorcerer dip is good if you don't want wizard, and you'll get to use a different helm too. You can make a case for warcaster too to avoid those 1 die rolls.
      Wizard gets you haste, some powerful summons (water myrmidon which can also heal), and the ability to use other spells like fire shield if you want. So it's up to you as what you're looking to get out of the build.
      Also, I haven't tried lore bard healing with 2 life cleric but I heard it is capable of the most heals per round (I think). Life clerics are the kings of aoe healing tho, maybe ancients pally too.
