Don't forget pinned messages in the main feed. I imagine it will be cluttered with reactions after every quiz, so it would be good if the influencer can pin a message for all newcomers.

@@threelie7537 yeah, it's not a beef with ben at all, he's a great developer who was a huge help to me when i started getting into web dev. i'm studying AI in college and one thing i've noticed is that we as developers tend to get so caught up in the possibilities of our tech and the "solutions" we're able to create that we don't think about the ramifications of it. (an obvious example would be China building on facial recognition tech to target the Uyghur population) i hope ben is able to read this in the good faith it's written and soberly assess whether or not this idea is a good thing for the world :)

I haven't watched your video yet, but i do remember liking the designs so it's sad to see the designer go. Then again it's good to see that you are willing to do that if you decide it's right in order to prevent further problems/hassle down the road.

The unicorn logo relates much better with idea of the app. A unicorn is a special kind of horse and your app is supposed to make the fans feels special.
The unicorn logo is so much cleaner. And honestly, the unicorn idea/theme seems like it would almost be more appropriate. One of the secondary definitions of unicorn is "something that is highly desirable but difficult to find or obtain." Is that not the perfect explanation for this platform? You are essentially earning the status of a "unicorn fan" through a series of testing--a status that is difficult to obtain. Jus'sayin...
This is actually a pretty great app idea given he get a few influences on board with it. Just bringing together the disparate by jointly important functions of patreon/discord/reddit for content creators/their communities. Interested to hear about how it all falls apart over the course of the next few videos.
Are you parlaying into the world of sound design at all? Some of the screens that you mentioned seem like they could have background music or sound fx? Idk if this route would be a priority tho. Love to watch your Journey!

Still think the connection of “Stars connecting with fans” somehow equating to space and stars makes your pitch weak. You don’t see themed sites anymore, it’s function over form. Even on heavily theme apps like Snapchat, which is made to be zany, only goes as far as caricatures and some neon highlighting.

Also doesnt creating an account only after you are accepted into a group imply that one person can only be in one community? Maybe that is intentional or maybe you intend for users to have unique profiles for each community they are in.
