- Hi guys! This was a big project I did this summer, and I LOVE it! I was inspired by a picture from Pinterest that one of my friend's showed me, and I duped it and made it my own. It now hangs in my kitchen, and I can't wait to decorate it for fall. I hope you enjoy this video, and let me know what you think!
Materials:
Wood for frame: 1x3 inch boards from Home Depot
Shelves in frame: 1x3 inch boards from Home Depot
Square dowels: Home Depot
Stain: Minwax in the color Jacobean
Paint: Waverly white chalk paint
Wood for cutting boards: Ply wood from Home Depot
Bead Board Sheet: 4'x8' from Home Depot, for about $24
Plate decor: from the Dollar Tree :)

Excellent project. I really liked the plywood cutting boards. When (if) you replace one with a real cutting board, you can use the plywood board for a holiday home decor piece. I might need to make one of these for myself. Thanks for sharing!

It took me a minute to find a place for mine, and I adjusted the size a little, because we live in a 1300 sq ft manufactured home, so I get the struggle haha. I hope you get one one day! Thank you so much :)

This is so beautiful......Now I have to have my husband help me make this. We have beadboard pieces from a previous house that was built in 1900. Will just have to make this a little bit smaller

btw: Bourbon Moth demonstrated a way to plunge cut with your jig saw. I tried it & its easy!

I wanted to start out by saying the color of your shirt looks amazing on you. And yes positively is always best. If you treat people the way you want to be treated it always comes back tenfold. Love your DIYs the fact that you used what you already had for most of it and kept the cost down. And I like your version better because of the destressing. Love my farm house

Annalee how did you attach it to the wall. I don't know if I misses that part. I love this and believe I have everything to make one. ❤️
Oh! Shoot, you didn't miss that, I forgot to mention it🤦♀️ I put long screws into the studs in my wall, and then marked where they lined up to the hutch. Then I drilled holes bigger than the screw heads, in the very top of the wooden frame, and slid it onto the screws. I hope this makes sense haha
