Thank you so much for taking the time to post your entire process! I have many antique plates similar to yours and I have been wanting to make a display for them and your video was just absolutely perfect for getting me going on this project. Much appreciated! First of your videos I came across and subscribed now ❤
I almost never watch a tutorial without skipping 75% of it… but your voice is so soothing and you explain this so well that I watched the entire video! Really great job staying on the point, you give details without going on for too long- just a solid, helpful, well done video! Subscribed!!! ❤️🫶
I watched many other DIY plate rack videos and most used only a nail gun and glue to build and secure it to the wall. I didn't think that would be sufficient to bare the weight of heavy wood cutting boards so I followed your suggestion and used the pocket hole jig for the frame and shelves and 2 supporting pieces to mount it to the wall. I'm very happy with the finished product. I looks professional and feels secure. Thank you very much for sharing. 👍
That's awesome! I'm so glad you found this video to help you build a secure plate rack for your specifications. I love how easy and great pocket holes are.
Oh, this is EXACTLY what I have always wanted. You could not have chosen a better place for it. Do mind sharing which Krieg screws you would have chosen and also how far up did you attach the trim piece? Thank you so much for sharing this. 😊
For my pine pieces, I used 1.5" Kreg screws. Kreg gives a guide for screw length depending on the width of your wood - I'd double check with their site first.
You Have Loads of Amazing videos and ideas my only Problem is for the life of me I Cannot hear what you're explaining .. please please Up the volume as I'd absolutely Love to Try some of your amazing ideas...thank you in advance. .you're amazing ❣️❣️
I'm sorry to hear that! No one has ever commented about this problem so I'm wondering if it's the RUclips volume or your computer volume that maybe was turned down. Having two volume controls can affect the sound experience. If it is just my videos, I'm so sorry.
@@Amy804Sycamore it's your video volume...I support other RUclips content creators on furniture flips and the volume is perfect...I even put in my earbuds to See if that would help so I could at least hear you ..didn't help..stay blessed 🥰
Good job!
Thank you Renee!

PS: when you add the railing, be sure to add wood glue before nailing.

Where did you get the railing pieces? I love them!
Home Depot, and it's by the foot - great price though.

What size are your boards that you screwed to the wall
I used 1x3 boards that I had on hand.
Enjoyed watching, turned out beautiful! But I had a really hard time hearing you. Would be much better if you could talk louder!
