If I don’t have thinning shears what number can I blended on side
It depends on the haircut you are going for. Message me on Instagram and I will help you out! instagram.com/alexkouras
يا اخي فيك شي سوري انت.
Man you are doing it wrong, you have to start on high numbers and work down so you can blend it in , that's why all the other videos are better yours is not blended it goes from one number to the next like you went to a dentist appointment and came out with a haircut 😂😂 you said a lot of you won't have cut your own hair before , looks like that includes you 😂😂😂
@@leethomson5733 Where's your video? Oh man I'd enjoy using someone like you as a footstool. Is that something you'd be interested in? Where are you based?
I tried this, and the only thing that fade is my confidence
I found it pretty easy tbh
hahaha. I'm getting better
good practice makes perfect man just keep trying and learn from your mistakes
LOL!
Can you do a copy and paste tutorial
I was going so well and one mistake leads to over correcting the mistake, and now I need a hat 😂. Thanks tho.
SAMMMEEE
😂😂
Me
😂
same lmao
This guy did a better fade than most barbers.
Lol what barbers you go too 🤣🤦🏿♂️
You know what. I had ALL day to sit and practice this and it came out pretty decent actually. Im impressed. I really took my time. About 4 hours. It just takes time and patience. Dont rush or over do anything. Dont get overconfident. Keep replaying the same part 1000 times if you have to.
Yes you gotta be very patient lol. I used to take 3 to 4 hours when I first started cutting my hair. 😂 Now I get it done in about 40 to 30 mins lol.
4 hours is a long time 🤣, i bet your clippers were hot 🔥
4 hours hahahaha
This weekend I’ll be cutting my own hair, I’ve completed about 5 haircuts over the last few months and each time I’m getting better and better...If I could give anyone advice I’d say don’t get frustrated, this is a skill and once you’ve mastered it it’ll boost your confidence and give you that attitude that you can learn anything...Good luck guys and don’t give up 🤛👍
i self learned to haircut during quarantine 5months i had seen no barber decided first time for my life i had balls to cut my self hair today its been past a year and im really proud of my self. i can say proudly i haircut very professionaly and better than some barbers i been at. its been a year of journey of not giving a single fck about what ppl think and doing my journey and learning luckly i had my ex gf. dont give up be strong and live in no fear.. now im watching tutorails to maximize my knowledge xd
Awesome work man! It’s a mindset shift and the second you realize you can do it yourself it becomes a whole new ball game to excel at. Keep up the great work 💪
I started with your teaching , and now ended with no hair on my head 🤦🏼♂️
Lmfao 😂😂
Lol. This is my selfcut, let me know what you think. ruclips.net/video/E0-UJJpKMGI/видео.html
LMFAO 😂🤣💀
😂😂
Dead😂😂😂😂😂
Nice!
A couple of suggestions if you don't mind:
1. Make your initial bald line lower around the back of your head, so you can space out your guidlines a little bit more.
2. Use #0 open, instead of #1 closed on your second guidline and then #1.5 closed on your third.
Your haircut will look even better.
Thanks for the advice! Thanks for watching! More great content coming soon! 😄
I attempted this before and failed. But after watching a good few times I can now say I cut my own hair from now on. And that also saves me a lot of money. Thanks Alex👊🏾 👍🏾
I've been cutting my hair for about 2 months now thanks to Alex's videos and I'm just cutting it regularly with no fancy techniques or whatever and now I feel much more confident in cutting my hair thanks to Alex, keep up the work my guy!
This is the tutorial that I use for my haircut. My wife loves it and so do I. The only thing that I would advise is that I have the half guard and 1.5 guard so I don't move the lever half way. Maybe mentioning that in your videos could help some people achieve some better results
Just discovered this video and it’s a jewel. I’m giving myself a good haircut every two weeks thanks to this.
This is by far the best tutorial I've seen for a faded, my wife was struggling finding the right video.
Thank you so much!!!
11:07 “and has that nice graduation”
Students in the Class of 2020 watching this video punching the air rn
Underrated comment 🤣
damn you aint gotta remind me
This is your best yet! I especially like the full fade. You do this so well! Thank you!
I appreciate the support! More great content coming soon! 😄
I’m dropping a like cuz I just finished my first ever self haircut and I’m super happy with my effort. Thanks a lot man!
I was enjoying a lot. I get my hair cut by myself, and I've problems setting the mirrors, isn't easy to see below, but you gave me auto confidence, and I need a thinning scissors, I look how you use it and it seems awesome. Tks for sharing. 🏐🧢👟❤
Thank you for the video I tried it and it was my first time cutting my own hair and it actually came out perfect wasn't really hard when you think about it video was clear and helpful.
Thank you for the video. It was less confusing than a lot of the other ones I found. I tried it the first time today and actually didnt screw it up :D
The first line was a bit problematic but at one point I started to feel really confident with the machine, even switching hands depending on which side I was working on. From there it was a lot of fun.
Thats a pretty cool self hair cut bro. I like how you really simplified it. Made it so easy to understand compared to hundreds ive seen on RUclips that couldn't. Keep up the good work and videos coming. Thank you brother. Stay blessed!
the First ever selfcut video I've seen that actually show all the steps. Great video. 💪🏾🙏🏾
This was the very first tutorial I seen to cut my own hair in quarantine lol. Now I got inspired cutting friends and family. Now almost 2 months in barber school 💈 💪🏽
I used your vid for cutting my hear during the lockdown in the Netherlands but now I'm really into it and keep doing it. It's actually fun! Thanks mate! 👍🏻
It definitely is a lot of fun! I appreciate the support! More great content coming soon! 😄
Because this simple e short video I improved a lot my "self service" haircut. Thanks man 💪🏻💪🏻
With your help i learned it, it's so good feeling! God bless you!
Hey man! I tried this haircut and the hair cut came out amazing! I self cut my hair for the first time and was little scared but as you told in the video to take little time and that really helped! Thanks for the video!!
You’re very talented and you teach me a lot. Thank you.
Of course! Thank you for watching! More great content coming soon! 😄
My hair literally came out perfect lol had the same clippers come to find out while watching the vid also. Dope video !
I watched this video several times, made several notes, and even simulated the motions in front of a mirror before actually gaining the courage to finally turn my clippers on. After I finished cutting my hair, I ended up looking like Jean-Luc Picard! FML!
LMAO
I've been using this tutorial with progressively better and better results. Thanks for the video!
Alex makes great video tutorials as was able to cut my own hair using men’s buzzer with guards, a comb and scissors to keep my hair looking decent. You rock, man.
So I did this haircut, following step by step, i adjusted the clipper sizes though as I don't like doing an almost bald fade - just short. My wife says its the best haircut ive ever gotten. Couldn't believe I did it myself. AWESOME steps. My arms got tired cutting the top though 😂
These are great for how to cut my sons hair. Thank you! Their fades look a lot better.
Watched a couple self cut videos and this was the easiest to follow. Thanks
Great video Alex
thanks Alex so much
I’ve your vid saved for every time I cut my hair great job man 👍🏻

Congratulstions and thank you for upfown!
Damn that is so lit bro I’ve been cutting my bestfriends hair for almost 2 years and I always did it unnecessary hard but your video taught me how easy it is to cut a simple fade. Thanks a lot bro
You are man Alex! I needed some help on my fade and cutting the top from long to short. Thank you!
Thanks man best video on youtube for tbis
I have always cut my own hair but ALWAYS struggled with the top length.... I have jacked it up recently and look forward to adopting your technique when trimming the top as I feel this will drastically change things for the better. Thanks so much for making this video!
Happy I could help!
Bro every cut🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for watching! More great content coming soon! 😄
I'm learning. Thank you so much for this video.
Dude you are the man! I’ve purchased the same clippers as you. I took around 3+ hours, but my fade was a bit dark and not completely faded. I received that feedback from family. I mean it’s not that but it could’ve been worse
I tried and it worked
Thank you so much!😆
Good detailed video man, i'v cut my hair 5 times already since this corona shutdown and each time i get more comfortable and a bit better. Keep up the quality vids 👌
Thank you for watching! More great content coming soon! 😄
Bro legit this helps me to understand so much, thanks Alex!
Thanks for watching! More great content coming soon! 😄
That’s is a damn fine hair cut mate ! I’ve been using wahl 100 series but just upgraded to a magic clip by wahl and a Buddha trimmer . Loving cutting my own hair and doing a damn fine job of it and cutting other hair too all happy ! Thanks to you and all the other you tubers out there doing similar things ! Much love 💓
That's awesome! Thank you for watching! More great content coming soon! 😄
I do cut my side hair like this every 2 weeks since 6 months now. For me and my clippers, it works the best to take out my guidelines with the lever completely open for the 1 & 2 guards. Half way closed would take off too much. The very first guideline I take out with my lever first halfway closed, then 3/4 closed. You need to try different lever levels for your very own clipper but overall, this guide is genius. BIG Thumbs up!
This is probably the best youtube video on self haircut out there!! Prop's!!
I really enjoyed cutting my own hair! I did better than I thought I would have done! Saved me some money and I look good!
Bro! Thanks for sharing this! I now have full confidence to do this to! I wish you the best man! Your saving everyone so much time and money!
i have actually cut my own hair last two weeks and it turned out not so bad but after watching this video i am inspired to do more and sharpen my skills. thanks to you dude!

The best self hair cut I've seen. I think I'm gone wait but i am missing having a fade, but i do like my length at the moment and I'm happy to keep growing it out. Really enjoyed you video bro...

I like the perimeter guideline you brought up. i've been cutting my hair for 10 years exact now and sometimes like to go to barber shops just to watch how they do things. Still faster just doing it myself and free touchups haha
Thanks man! You helped me a lot
Looking sharp bro!
Tried this on my husband, the results are outstanding, thank you for such an easy tutorial, kudos.

This self haircut is so satisfying to watch👌👌
That smile tho 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Done it today! It’s not ideal, but I will still practice :) cheers for the video!
Did this yesterday after getting proper clippers with a lever in the mail. I'm so proud of my cut! I had one attempt before this using cheap clippers that don't have a lever, so I did a longer fade that wasn't bald that time. This time was the first attempting to do a bald fade. Just FYI it took about 2 hours to get a result I was happy with. So make sure you have enough time especially on your first try. Helps a lot to have a self cut mirror (trifold mirror). It's mad scary at first and completely disorienting to cut hair using mirror, but if you take your time, you can do it. One thing that helps is to look away from the mirror sometimes to get your bearings, go where you think you should go with your hands without touching the clippers to your hair, and then certify by looking back in the mirror where your hands are. Hard to explain, but I think it helps train your brain on how to use the mirrors in reverse orientation.
Like always alex superb!!!😎✅👍🏼
This video is 10/10 second time doing it and came out so good 😍 ty ty
