There's even a cleaner version done in the studio on the Beatles Love Album and there are several tracts on the Anthology album that are much more cleaner.

I typically catch heat when I give credit where credit´s due on some of Lennon´s songs. And Your Bird Can Sing is a prime example. It´s definitely George and Paul´s contributing their genius dual guitar work that makes that song what it is. A good many others.
If there was no song composed to start with, there’s nobody to thank for. And this is just the demo. Appreciate it for what it’s worth and do not give others credit where it’s not due.

I´ve extended no unwarranted credit. Lennon wrote some great songs, but he also wrote some weak songs that required punching up to raise them to a higher standard. Thankfully he had the knack for being able to surround himself with those that were capable of doing it.
I agree, but they had have songs to work with. The melody and lyrics to Strawberry Field's are brilliant.
It's not witticism it's a fact thanking the engineers for doing what he asked them to do as they were the geniuses is plain wrong
