My absolute best guess is someone told her it's best to avoid driving when possible because the possible stress which is bad for the baby or the potential of getting into an accident which can hurt her and the baby. Honesty and respect goes a long way with teens. I know from experience that you can call them on their BS and, so long as you don't talk down to them or soft peddle them because you think they can't deal with the truth, they're usually pretty straightforward to deal with.
Yes they were extremely happy to have the car towed because neither passenger or driver owned it. It wasn't theirs, who cares! Likely because his testimony is worthless as the courts have deemed both he and his testimony untrustworthy for good reason. He’s just extremely vocal in the short clips which he utilizes to manipulate a less cognitive and vulnerable public into believing his a man of integrity worthy of a badge. Unfortunately people are slow and easily confused by what’s presented to them on the internet. Depends where you live clearly , I got my learners license at 14 years old ? You can’t drive Past midnight and need a full licensed person in the car with you , then you get your probationary license , need that for two years without losing demerits. But then you can drive without a licensed person and the curfew.. once you get your full at 17-18 you have maximum demerits and cheap insurance.. this is Alberta Canada, obviously not America but thinking 14 year olds driving a car is crazy, you should see them in jacked up diesel trucks, it’s not unheard of around here. I could see some moms being careful bout it if you live somewhere crazy. We have horrible traffic and barely any law enforcement where we live so would make sense to me if you’re that nervous but mosy people don’t have that issue

I'll bet the exhaust is stock except for the cat-back single exit on this car since that specific one is pretty cheap. I have the same exhaust on my 350z with everything else stock and asked my neighbors if it is too loud after I got it, they said they barely even notice it during day time. I won't cold start my car at 3 am since that would definitely wake somebody up, but other than that it really doesn't make a difference to sensible people. Also, this exhaust sounds great! No rasp, not obnoxiously loud, and you can barely even hear it when cruising at low rpms. I'm not sure why non car enthusiasts categorize everyone with an aftermarket exhaust as being obnoxious, rude, and inconsiderate. Yes, it makes the car a bit louder but there's a ton of trucks and other sports cars that are even louder from the factory compared to the setup I described.

I had toxemia the last three months of one pregnancy and was confined to total bedrest. I was still able to drive myself to the doctor's each month for a check up but that was it. If a woman is having symptoms of aborting the baby anytime before full term, , the doctor will cancel all physical activities of any kind of stress for a period of time. Just getting pregnant, the average woman is not that delicate and can handle a tremendous amount of physical stress. I live in Oklahoma. We had a 14-year-old driver from Kansas that crashed and killed one of the deputies in my county that happened last year. They shouldn't be driving at all.

My grandfather learned to drive manually by a blind man as a teenager bc he left home after quiting school. He later worked on military aircraft during WW2 Korea and Vietnam before the Air Force was the Air Force. -Combat Vet

I feel like Frank should have added that they should consider obtaining a lawyer when handing the ticket. Because I guarantee you they don’t understand what a criminal offense is and it’d never hurt to have one more person try and talk some sense into these 2. I’ve have heard about not driving while pregnant 🤰 . If you’re driving and get into an accident. There is a high risk of miscarriage. This is due to the seatbelt being around the uterus/ lower body. Also most young women have to move their seat closer up to the steering wheel to comfortably use foot pedals. Airbags and seatbelt are a recipe for disaster for pregnant women and even minor accidents are a risk. A lot of people saying they never heard of this. It’s not a law, it’s just a suggestion doctors have made. (I think letting a 14 year old is just as high of a risk tho)

In addition to them being enjoyable, they teach valuable lessons in maintaining composure, avoiding escalation, and keeping your sense of humor intact. @@HifeMan I agree, vq engines sound terrible and are extremely loud and raspy when straight piped, but this is clearly not straight piped due to the large muffler you can see. I'll bet the exhaust is stock except for the cat-back single exit on this car since that specific one is pretty cheap. I have the same exhaust on my 350z with everything else stock and asked my neighbors if it is too loud after I got it, they said they barely even notice it during day time. I won't cold start my car at 3 am since that would definitely wake somebody up, but other than that it really doesn't make a difference to sensible people. Also, this exhaust sounds great! No rasp, not obnoxiously loud, and you can barely even hear it when cruising at low rpms. I'm not sure why non car enthusiasts categorize everyone with an aftermarket exhaust as being obnoxious, rude, and inconsiderate. Yes, it makes the car a bit louder but there's a ton of trucks and other sports cars that are even louder from the factory compared to the setup I described.

Anyone who thinks all troopers are jerks ought to listen to a few “Fridays With Frank.” Frank is tough, but he is polite, he is interactive and engages with the motorists who he pulls over, and he takes the time to explain the reasons why he needs to issue a ticket. He is not an over-the-top hard guy, but he’s not going to let drivers get away with nonsense. Frank is the kind of trooper that I am glad is patrolling our roads and helping to keep us safe.

Yes, if you have certain issues during pregnancy you may be ADVISED not to drive by your doctor but there is no legal basis for that. And those issues tend to occur late in pregnancy. Pregnant women are ADVISED not to drink or smoke but that stops them.....never!
Every woman I know to be smokers and drinkers stopped upon finding out they were pregnant. Every one. And there have been many. It is not for their health; they don't want to damage their baby.

I love the pen clicking!!! No dr. said you can’t drive while pregnant. It’s probably immature teenage talk. No one looks anything up to check if it’s true or not. When I was a teenager I heard stuff my friends were saying and I was shocked. Being me I said that’s not true!!! I got “How do you know?” My reply was “I asked my mom!”
They were shocked that I talked to my mom about stuff!!! I asked …..don’t you talk to your mom’s? I got emphatic “NO’s”
I became the go to person to ask my mom their questions.

I had toxemia the last three months of one pregnancy and was confined to total bedrest. I was still able to drive myself to the doctor's each month for a check up but that was it. If a woman is having symptoms of aborting the baby anytime before full term, , the doctor will cancel all physical activities of any kind of stress for a period of time. Just getting pregnant, the average woman is not that delicate and can handle a tremendous amount of physical stress.

Well she maybe has a slight belly bump, so maybe maybe just in 2nd trimester at a stretch. But unless she was having regular fainting episodes (which can happen in pregnancy) there is no reason she couldn’t drive

I live in Oklahoma. We had a 14-year-old driver from Kansas that crashed and killed one of the deputies in my county that happened last year. They shouldn't be driving at all.

Frank, You're the greatest!!!!! As for driving when pregnant, I knew a woman the did an entire 1/2 marathon at 8 1/2 months pregnant!!! She had medical clearance but still, COME ON MAN, there wasn't even a baby bump from what I could tell!!! Thank God you love your job!!!

It's been a minute or two since I was pregnant, but I drove a manual trans nearly every day while pregnant. My daughter & I both survived. I think this young lady needs to ask an actual doctor about driving while pregnant.
My grandfather learned to drive manually by a blind man as a teenager bc he left home after quiting school. He later worked on military aircraft during WW2 Korea and Vietnam before the Air Force was the Air Force.

I'll give the kids a thumbs up for not being on their phones whining to someone about how they have been unfairly targeted. They were so polite, didn't argue or talk over Deputy Frank and enjoyed a little laugh with him at the end.
The fact that it was physical properties of the car that caused Frank to pull them over might also be a thumbs up for the under-aged driver. He was driving well!

I feel like Frank should have added that they should consider obtaining a lawyer when handing the ticket. Because I guarantee you they don’t understand what a criminal offense is and it’d never hurt to have one more person try and talk some sense into these 2. But I’m sure the court will do that song and dance and advise them to retain counsel before proceeding.

I was pregnant 4x. Not once, ever, was I told I couldn't drive. It's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. Why are IQ's just dropping rapidly. It's kinda scary.
I’ve have heard about not driving while pregnant 🤰 . If you’re driving and get into an accident. There is a high risk of miscarriage. This is due to the seatbelt being around the uterus/ lower body. Also most young women have to move their seat closer up to the steering wheel to comfortably use foot pedals. Airbags and seatbelt are a recipe for disaster for pregnant women and even minor accidents are a risk. A lot of people saying they never heard of this. It’s not a law, it’s just a suggestion doctors have made. (I think letting a 14 year old is just as high of a risk tho)
