Looking objectively at the lyrics, I think we need to consider their message at a time (1955) when the World was still recovering from the extreme upheavals of WWII, and governments wanted couples to form stable relationships and produce lots of babies ... Better Dean Martin songs would be "Welcome To My World", "I Wish You Love", "The Oldest Establishment", "Guys and Dolls" and time to get Sinatra involved after that
