Absolute perfection. Dean Martin...His instrumentalists, his presentation, his voice and his song, it was so eloquent that even on an antiquated and dusty recording with low fidelity, he surpasses and defeats any shortcomings with his God given talent. And he gave us a top 40s hit when he was in his 40s. Everybody loves somebody. Nobody has ever done that except Dean. Thank you Dean. We will always love you.
Sinatra gets so many plaudits. This man could sing with such a velvet voice but cruelly overlooked. About time the balance was shifted a little and give him the recognition he deserves.
Frank was the better singer. Dean was the better entertainer; kind of a "jack of all trades". He could sing, act, do stand up comedy and be a variety show host.
Уникальный ,удивительное обояние , голос , актёр - вне конкурса , оптимизм , глядя на него - улыбаешься и - счастье : вот оно !!! ЛЮБЛЮ!!! УРА !!! И это навсегда
Dean Martin was such an excellent and outstanding Singer, and every song he sang sounds just right. This one is one of my favorites by him. Timeless it is good to listen and shall be listened as long as people love each other.
Smoothest voice with wonderful inflections...made it look easy but that was his style....no topping Dean, Frank, Elvis, Bing, etc. They all had real voices not this crap you hear today...the music today drowns out the voices of today and with good reason...I was born in 1949 so I know and grew up with these tremendous talents.
I was born in '47 and also had the pleasure of seeing these great talents. Loved also ' 50's doo wop and the great groups of the '60's. Got to see one of the greats, Tony Bennett in Wildwood New Jersey.
Lucky. I'm just 13 and love music from the 50's. It's always been my dream to be born around 45 or 46 so I could grow up through the 50's. Whenever I listen to music from today, it always makes me embarrassed to a part of this generation.
Dean had such a charisma for acting, singing and making jokes, that made me laugh. A complete entertainer, and a very talented one too. This song is Great to hear sung by his outstanding voice.
I used to sing this song when I was 4 years old in 1956. I'd play my mother's 78 of this and knew the entire lyrics. Still love the song and his voice today.❤
Dean's voice sounds excellent, and for me, this is the best version of the song. Dean was such a good entertainer, actor singer, and who almost always made good jokes, besides singing and acting very well.
At 0:57 the background singer on the left chimes in with "then at the wedding bells" when it's not the chorus yet. Dean takes it in stride with just a blink. The guy on the right then looks at the other guy with a funny look. Dean was a pro thru and thru.
Love this live performance, you can really get the measure of an artist when it's done live and Dean was as solid as they come. I thank God for RUclips and posters like John1948ThreeC so that we can enjoy and relive these great moments.
Memories Are Made Of This Sung by Dean Martin (The sweet, sweet, memories you've given me You can't beat the memories you've given me...) Take one fresh and tender kiss Add one stolen night of bliss One girl, one boy Some grief, some joy Memories are made of this Don't forget a small moonbeam Fold it lightly with a dream Your lips and mine Two sips of wine Memories are made of this Then add the wedding vows One house where lovers dwell Three little kids for the flavor Stir carefully through the days See how the flavor stays These are the dreams you will savor With His blessings from above Serve it generously with love One man, one wife One love, through life Memories are made of this Memories are made of this
I just had a conversation, via RUclips comments, with Paul Politi, who co-wrote 'Those Oldies but Goodies' for Little Ceaser and the Romans, a Doo Wop hit, way back. And he wrote many of Barry White's tunes with Barry. A really cool guy!
I still have this 45. Dino was the Italian's Italian. We all wished we could be as cool and smooth as Dean Martin. I remember my mother and all of my aunts loved him. The men in the family just thought he was the coolest of the rat pack. Sinatra was the leader, fantastic entertainer but Dean Martin invented swag before it was popular or before anyone even knew what swag was. Still love his and Frank's music. Nothing like them.
Dean Martin and the Easy Riders working together as they are here was a dream collaboration. They really should have worked together more often. Absolute, utter perfection.
Also. Not may realise that he was such a good comedian, ad lib, too. “I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.” Dean Martin
I have always loved this song a lot. I remember when I was about to be a budding teenager. I knew I'd be getting a record player as a gift. My father drove me the night before to pick up the one record I would have before I was to get the gift. The record: This one. Thank you for having it here.
My dad loved him ,and now i will be playing Dean for the spreading of my dads ashes into the the ocean his wishes for he was a fisherman , Dean will be pkaying loud n proud rip dad .💖,until we meet again.
This song poped into my mind and i thought, 'who sang that' well the nexst thing that poped up was DEANO. I thought it just has to be, with that super smooth layed back voice i mean, 'who eles' Absolutely Priceless vidio, Thanks.
Elegance, Class, a true gentleman. This kind of masculinity doesn't exist anymore. In fact, it would probably be labeled "gay" and less than manly today.
Nulla da aggiungere. Amen
Absolute comment: Everybody love somebody.
Gives us hope for those of us past 40 :)
they don't make musicians/ actors like they used to for a loooong time.
Yeaaaaa
Me sumo a tus expresiones. Tema fascinante, con una letra cautivante y un coro impecable.
His voice was liquid silk absolute perfection
Its pure gold isnt it . I love deano
Karen I cud not av put that any better. This guy was unique. Bravooooooo Dean.
I'm 31 and he is a absolute ledgend in my eyes
Absolutely.
Sinatra gets so many plaudits. This man could sing with such a velvet voice but cruelly overlooked. About time the balance was shifted a little and give him the recognition he deserves.
I always thought Dean had a better voice...
He just never took singing as seriously as Sinatra. Preferred acting and comedy
Frank was the better singer. Dean was the better entertainer; kind of a "jack of all trades". He could sing, act, do stand up comedy and be a variety show host.
@John Mrshall Your observation is arrogant. Frank would sing the phrase, Dino would sing the melody.
He does it effortlessly, not to mention the king of cool.
I prefer Dino over Sinatra any day of the week legend
Уникальный ,удивительное обояние , голос , актёр - вне конкурса , оптимизм , глядя на него - улыбаешься и - счастье : вот оно !!! ЛЮБЛЮ!!! УРА !!! И это навсегда
as a lover of all music from heavy metal, to, pop, nothing beats the deano
Dean Martin was such an excellent and outstanding Singer, and every song he sang sounds just right. This one is one of my favorites by him. Timeless it is good to listen and shall be listened as long as people love each other.
the way he delivers "through" at 2:03 - like a hot knife through butter! So smooth!
agree completely, it also shows he was singing in this performance, not just lip syncing. Great song!
One of the greatest voices ever recorded RIP Dean Martin
December 2023. Fabulous 👌
Real talent is still out there but it's drowned out by the "marketable" trash we have now.
'49 was a very good year to begin the journey..
I'm sad for the kids today in a way.
I was born in '47 and also had the pleasure of seeing these great talents. Loved also ' 50's doo wop and the great groups of the '60's. Got to see one of the greats, Tony Bennett in Wildwood New Jersey.

AMEN to that brother! In my Showbiz world, you can either Sing or you Can't! No Faking it! www.bluesuedeent.com
Dean had such a charisma for acting, singing and making jokes, that made me laugh. A complete entertainer, and a very talented one too. This song is Great to hear sung by his outstanding voice.
This one of my favorite Dean Martin songs. He sings it with such conviction! He so enjoys performing and he transfers this joy to the audience.
no one else could ever sing this song so well. It's the best song Dino ever sang.
Ne ha cantate molte belle... una delle migliori sicuramente
"That's Amore"
Elvis Presley loved his singing.
I wish Dino had made more like this one. He should have put those guys on full time.
This was my favorite song when I was nine years old in 1955. It is still among my all-time favorites. Perfect arrangement and perfect performance!
I used to sing this song when I was 4 years old in 1956. I'd play my mother's 78 of this and knew the entire lyrics. Still love the song and his voice today.❤
I love this song!!!
I LOVE Dean! Smoothest voice ever. There will never be another Dean, he was the whole package!
I just love this song. So amazing! Just Dean and the guitarist.❤️
Dean's voice sounds excellent, and for me, this is the best version of the song. Dean was such a good entertainer, actor singer, and who almost always made good jokes, besides singing and acting very well.
Dean was complete natural, no practise, no thought, lets do it boys.
DEAN MARTIN WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST VOCALS OF OUR TIME
Elvis wanted to sing like him you can clearly hear it at 1:38
Ach was waren die Zeiten früher so schön und so liebevoll. 🤗
Man! How I love this song.
(and guess, I''ll love it for ever.)
If I were stuck in a lift with as many singers you could count on one hand, he'd have to be one of 'em..!
Memories for my mom and dad may they both rest in peace hold each other and be with our God
Bless you honey!
'Simply beautiful.
'Memories Are Made Of This- by Dean Martin'
Perfeft in every area.
❤
Sweet sweet🤗
he makes it look easy because that's how talented he was. great great singer. i love this song.
That man could sing . 👍😎
At 0:57 the background singer on the left chimes in with "then at the wedding bells" when it's not the chorus yet. Dean takes it in stride with just a blink. The guy on the right then looks at the other guy with a funny look. Dean was a pro thru and thru.
Best member of the Rat Pack
Love this live performance, you can really get the measure of an artist when it's done live and Dean was as solid as they come. I thank God for RUclips and posters like John1948ThreeC so that we can enjoy and relive these great moments.
Fuming Riley

Have you seen him and Frank on the Carson show?
What a wonderful song! The perfect singer, with the perfect back-up group!
ELVIS'S ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG.
HE BASED HIS WHOLE CAREER ON TRYING TO SOUND LIKE THIS
that is amazing....but, alas there is one Dino.....
It’s a perfect Elvis dong.
Tbh rockhard I never hear this :/ Coming from a big elvis fan
Yes
No he didn’t he had his own singing voice you can’t imitate someone else’s instrument unless you have the same biology
Fantastic voice.
The best of the era.
This is my favorite song from Dean, so what a joy to be able to see him perform it.
Songs like this we don't get anymore, need Dino for the flavor.
Dean was and is AWESOME. He also stood up against racism with Sinatra for Sammy. Much respect for Dean Martin aka The Mills Bros all in one
Memories Are Made Of This
Sung by Dean Martin
(The sweet, sweet, memories you've given me
You can't beat the memories you've given me...)
Take one fresh and tender kiss
Add one stolen night of bliss
One girl, one boy
Some grief, some joy
Memories are made of this
Don't forget a small moonbeam
Fold it lightly with a dream
Your lips and mine
Two sips of wine
Memories are made of this
Then add the wedding vows
One house where lovers dwell
Three little kids for the flavor
Stir carefully through the days
See how the flavor stays
These are the dreams you will savor
With His blessings from above
Serve it generously with love
One man, one wife
One love, through life
Memories are made of this
Memories are made of this
This was a huge influence on Elvis!

Grande e inesquecível, Dean Martin.
such a work of beautiful art. they don't have songs like this anyone. you have to go back in time to get them.
My grandad died age 92 yesterday morning, this was his favourite song!
he was for the young, and the old....maybe it was the memories....
Terrific ❤❤❤
Great video, great song and great performance. I love at the end as they take a bow, you can see they knew they nailed it.

Dean the best
My favorite song by Dean, and one of my favorites of all time, no matter when. 1956 sure rocked , with this Elvis and of course The Platters
I just had a conversation, via RUclips comments, with Paul Politi, who co-wrote 'Those Oldies but Goodies' for Little Ceaser and the Romans, a Doo Wop hit, way back. And he wrote many of Barry White's tunes with Barry. A really cool guy!
Just how lovely is this, four sets of strings, great counter melody, tight harmonies and on the top...the ice smooth Deano.
A master at work.
Love Dean Martin and this song is fantastic
Brings a tear to my eye reminds me of family memories. This is such a beautiful song Dean Martin is truly an amazing singer!

When his Mother made him, she broke the mold. Regards.
