- Delray Beach is a coastal city located in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It is situated between West Palm Beach to the north and Boca Raton to the south, and is known for its beautiful beaches, lively downtown area, and vibrant cultural scene.
One of the main attractions of Delray Beach is its gorgeous beaches, which include Atlantic Dunes Park, Delray Municipal Beach, and Gulfstream Park Beach. These beaches offer white sand, clear waters, and plenty of opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet skiing.
The downtown area of Delray Beach is another popular destination for visitors and locals alike. It is home to a variety of restaurants, bars, art galleries, and shops.
I take a walk along the main street of Atlantic Avenue to the beachfront, checking out all the restaurants and shops along the way.

Now I get the best of both worlds. I was born in Brooklyn and lived and worked in New York for many years. I also lived in South Florida for many years. West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, & Boynton Beach so it's fun to see how each neighborhood has changed and what is now happening in each. Thanks Action Kid! Also, Delray Beach has one of the best arts and crafts shows in the area, it is called the Delray Affair and is usually in April/May. It fills all of Atlantic Avenue.

The beach is gorgeous with all the beautiful shades of blue and turquoise. I was just disappointed we had to leave the moment we got there. lol What a beautiful town and the vast selection of restaurants is incredible! I liked the ice cream cone trash cans too. They were fun:-)
Beautiful...can't believe how packed it has become .The traffic is whew much.Sad as Florida will become a non senior state and a nyc jersey,and uh Connecticut. It's been 2 years since we were there for 3 months ..not sure if we will return . Scary that it is now that busy
