11:47 (the first of Sir Albert's goals) was the moment Easter Road erupted - and BOY - what an eruption !!. STILL one of the finest days in my life - 5000 T-shirts with 'SPL CHAMPIONS 1985-1986' still unsold ..................
I bought a hearts tie pin badge with championeees 1985 86 then sold it 20 years on to a collector for 2 grand...wow! Bet those t shirts a worth a mint!..muppet!
The best bit is, the huns who were at home that day thought Walter Kidd had scored for Hearts, but it was Sir Albert Kidd 😅😅😅😅😂God bless you Albert 🍀 ☘️ 🍀 ☘️
I was at that game. Walking up to the stadium, I was stunned by the amount of "Hearts, champions of Scotland" hats and scarfs that were being sold. I'm in no way superstitious, but felt that was a bit like tempting fate. In the end, I felt we deserved to win and had our own disappointment to deal with as we just missed out on a European place that year. The atmosphere at the game was brilliant and despite everything that happened, I can't recall any trouble. Ah, the good old days, eh?
Not in it for trophies Chris...We say fish and chip shop btw not Hibs or Dundee ya jambo dog!!...On a more serious note I wish Craig Gordon all the very best, absolutely horrendous and felt bad for the laddie, horrible
Hi there, a bit of a long shot but do you have a Clydesdale Bank Scottish Football League Review 1981-82 and a 1983-84 one in great condition that you'd part with? I need these two to complete my collection.
Apart from their beloved sevco has Scottish football ever laughed harder at a club than Hearts? Relegated more than any other club in my lifetime the joke that keeps giving
SFA up to their dodgy tricks as usual. The referee for this game had been decided weeks before the match and when it became a possibility that Celtic could win the league, the SFA changed the referee for this match and appointed a Hearts fan to referee the match.
I'll never forget hearing an old gut in crowd " goal for dundee" then everyone else on their tranny started & tbh I can't member much more. But glad we could do hibs a turn.
A very sad day. The day the dream of the small clubs of the early 80s ended. How anyone other than Celtic and Hibs fans could be happy with this result is beyond me.
@@JamesSmith-kw8gt Celtic finished 3rd and 4th for 2 seasons about this time Aberdeen were good up until 92, Dundee United had tremendous team at this time, and Rangers won the league a season after this, I was at the Cup final the week after this with my Grandad watching Hearts lose too Aberdeen 3-0 , I think it was Fergie's last season in charge of Aberdeen who were wicked in that final , Willie Miller was a second ref in that final pmsl..
For Scottish football this was the 2nd biggest laugh ever behind the huns going bust. The makey on hearts fans acting hard on the pitch got pushed back by… ehm…err two whole policeman. Joke of a club 😂😂😂😂
Quite interesting. Dundee fought for that win like their life depended on it. St Mirren spread their legs and enquired as to what hole celtic fancied. The Scottish disease.

As luck would have it a good Tim scored both goals.

Pure dead brilliant.Edinburgh huns hail hail.
Don't talk shite. Hearts, United and Aberdeen were still challenging with Celtic and the Dead Club for many years after this.

It's too funny :
fuckin hilarious 😂😂😂 let's be honest that lot where overrated as they got hammered in Cup Final also so they weren't good enough overall 😂😂😂
Archie Mc Carpet Head worst and most biased Scottish commentator ever!
It's Dundee and Hearts - neither team is big enough to attract bias !
🤣🤣🤣🤣hearts 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haw Haw Haw

Or Celtic smashed St Mirren who had nothing to play for and Hearts bottled it.
dundee were chasing europe, colin hendry, john brown played that day and archie knox was the manager,,,
dundee were chasing europe maybe thats why they tried so hard wee sacks
