I just bought this mouse, it is indeed silent, performance is good. What I dont like is the pointly plastic part behind the wheel, almost everytime I scroll the wheel my finger scratch on that pointly part, it is not painful but very annoying, I guess I have to disassemble it and use sandpaper.
There's a slight ridge down the center, it's true it extends slightly to encase the wheel. I guess if you go all the way foward/back and push, you will touch it but both our red and blue aren't sharp there. If yours has a burr it might be a manufacturing defect? I don't use the absolute full range of the wheel like that so I never encountered it while testing!
I bought the Logitech M330 Silent at BestBuy and could not get it to work. Finally, after trying everything software/driver I realized that the USB Wireless receiver is manufactured poorly. Its contacts do not make contact inside the USB port. I found a couple videos on RUclips showing how to take it apart and put a piece of paper underneath the electronics and put it back together. But I am not interested in going to all that trouble. But they did get it to work by doing that. I realize now I want a Bluetooth mouse anyway. I will return this and buy an MX Anywhere 3. USB receivers have lots of issues.
Good feedback; it's important to note that A) occasionally new things may need RMA and B) sometimes USB ports wear out. Now it's most likely the ports' contacts were loosened through use/rough insertion (*snickers*) but manufacturing defects do occur. Personally, I've handled about 10 different Logi products and all the receivers were snug and connected well, unless the port was abused or the receiver was blocked by concrete. Hope you get that sorted out! Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Good review overall, but I feel it's unfairly penalized for the software which isn't even needed in most cases ... just plug in the USB dongle and go in seconds. Also, while the M510 seems to be decent, the M330's simplicity is actually an advantage for many people. The M510's extra buttons are actually in the way if you use the mouse ambidextrously. And the tilt wheel is rather un-ergonomic for people who need to click and hold the mouse wheel.
This is a great mouse. No, it's not small at all. It's longer, shorter in height, lighter in weight, and has a larger grip area than my Logitech Anywhere MX, and is much bigger than my relatively flat HP Bluetooth Z5000 "Silent" mouse. The HP purports to be a "Silent" mouse, too. But it is actually louder than the Anywhere MX, a much older mouse. The M330 (my model, in black - no other color available) is really, really silent and still has the click feel. It's also very smooth and works perfectly out of the package. No software update was needed, nor was any found on the Logitech website or Win10 update. I don't need any extra buttons like the Anywhere MX has. All I need is a scroll wheel and the two main mouse buttons.. That's all the M330 has and that's all I need.
It's not tiny, it's 2/3 the size of either of my Steelseries mice... I do have one gripe, the wheel on mine is now the loudest part of the mouse heh. Thanks for the comment man!!!
I'm confused, please clarify, so were you or where you not able to connect your K270 keyboard to the dongle that came with the M331? I ask because I have the same keyboard. It's one of the best basic keyboards out there by the way.
I can't really confirm this worked. I tested it over a year ago, I just remember it being a large headache and had to work really hard on getting to work somewhat, and get it back to its orignal dongle. Keep up the good work. One more thing, Do you have any other wireless mouse in mind which beats Logitech 331 within this budget price range?
Scroll wheel is sometimes noisy depending on which region...? We have one silent wheel, one little noisy wheel. Cheers! We'll check out more mice in 2021, none to recommend right now sorry
There is a very slight tilt to the top of the mouse, so the left button sits slightly higher than the right button. But it's quite slight, maybe 1.2mm. I use the mouse with both hands and find it comfortable in either one. The scroll wheel has not given me any issues. It's not silent, but not noisy either. The absence of the side tilt on the scroll wheel is a great feature, actually! It makes the scroll wheel much more stable and more ergonomic to use, especially in a design environment where you often need to click and hold the scroll wheel for view control.

just bought the M330 - i tried to play with the left button's SINGLE-CLICK sensitivity - a weak click doesn't do anything and i need it more sensitive - any help? thanks in advance
You talking hardware or software side? AFAIK how hard you need to press to trigger isn't adjustable. So.... start looking for a different mouse...? Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
@@Techspin thanks for the reply! i hoped it can be resolved on the SW side.. just as the double click speed can be adjusted.. to me it's the same technical idea but win 8.1 doesn't provide that simple setting..
Oh I figured you might be thinking like that. The double click adjust is counting the time from the first to second click. If it's set to short, it times out quickly, great if you're a fast clicker/work like a maniac. Longer times provide longer to second click, to open a folder. Great if you haven't had coffee yet 😀
Also what you're talking about, single click sensitivity, isn't possible on most mice, as that would require a tensioner, and also severely cut down lifespan as reliability/looseness would become an issue with wear and tear. Most switches are built for millions of clicks.
It appears to be region only. I looked at the specs, identical, and the marketing Logi uses is identical too, check it: www.logitech.com/en-roeu/product/b330-silent-plus-mouse www.logitech.com/en-us/product/m330-silent-plus Please subscribe, and thanks for your support!
Hi. I had the M330 and the buttons were too easy to press so when I moved the mouse it would click on accident. I returned it because of that issue. Could it be that I got a faulty one? Does the M331 fix that issue?
I just bought a blue one myself for late night video editing, so we're both using them without any problems in that regard. The buttons have a fairly normal actuation force, just very little sound.
@@bluemagic3800 My experience was different than yours, and we probably live in a different climate than you (Taiwan has 60~80% humidity, has an effect on rubber). I'd suggest contacting Logitech CS and see if they can do something for ya. Sorry to hear about your experience, man!

I have used this mouse for 10+ months and though it’s nice due to the nearly silent clicks, ergonomic design that makes it easy to use for long duration, Logitech really screwed up the scroll wheel by putting in the worst scroll mechanism in their lineup. The scroll was rough and slow out of the box, absolutely useless for scrolling long documents/webpages. It started to slow down during scrolling and the page went in the opposite direction for few seconds. Now it either does not work or works so bad that I rather hold the scroll bar and move it. Logitech warranty policy is not customer-friendly either. They may repair or give the customer a replacement (new or refurbished) arbitrarily ─ customer has no say in it despite having invested money & time in their product and suffered loss of productivity, experienced frustration due to the malfunction.
I have the same issue when I try to scroll down it will scroll up a bit, turns out that it is caused by the dust on the scroll wheel. Just open the mouse and clean it up then it worked fine again
@@kfkok4instamedia918 good for you but frankly I don't think most of us have the time or desire to open up the mouse and look for the root cause. Besides it seems that the screws are beneath the Teflon feet which will be destroyed. I have used several mice under same conditions and never had this problem. It is unique to the poor quality scroll mechanism on this mouse.
I've had that happen with other mice, not this one yet. I should have pointed out in the review that the mouse wheel is NOT SILENT. A bit of an omission on my part, was just super impressed with the left n right buttons lol. Cracking open the unit to fix isn't ideal, but HEY! At least you can fix it! So there's that :D
@@Techspin update on my warranty claim : Logitech could not repair/provide me with a replacement for the defective mouse. After my regular follow up for 2 months, they refunded the amount I had paid for the mouse. Clearly it makes no sense wasting your time trying to repair your faulty product unless you enjoy it.
EDIT: Some mice have a left-side scrolling cylinder, like the Logitech MX Master 3, around $100usd amzn.to/3bbXD7i or the Logitech MX Master 2S is on sale for $80- amzn.to/3gJ4J4x Horizontal scrolling is usually done by holding down the SHIFT key and using the mouse wheel.
Well I have purchased it 1 month ago, I it's definitely worth buying
Thanks for the feedback!
I have the red one yay
Nice one!
Can you still feel a click in your finger even though you cant hear it?
Yes you still feel the response. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
I just ordered one, hope it lasts long
Our red and blue ones we bought are still working fine. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
how long the battery lasts, basically using 4 hours a day? I'm afraid of constantly changing batteries they are tad expensive where i live. Thanks.
Still will be a long time! But if that's really a buying consideration, maybe go wired? Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Using mine 50+ hours per week, the included battery lasted an amazingly long time. More than 1 year on a single battery! I could barely believe it.
Cool, nice results!
I have lost the dongle, can I still connect the mouse via bluetooth on my laptop without a dongle
No the dongle and Bluetooth devices use different frequency and/or connection protocols.
Please I know you already answered this, but what is the difference between THE M330 and M331, although you stated they were the same but different regions, what did you mean by that. Also are the more silent than the Srockers c10. Thank you
Just different labeling for different countries, no difference otherwise. We don't have the Srockers to test at this time unfortunately, maybe we can look into that in the future. Thanks for the question!
If it goes to sleep mode, how well will it preserve the battery? Is it as good as having the mouse turned off completely?
It's still very good. I have a blue silent for my HTPC and it's always on, haven't changed battery yet, been about 5 months already! Thanks for the question!
Can it be used without the unified receiver, if my laptop already has a built in Bluetooth adapter?
This mouse has a Nano receiver, NOT a unified receiver--not the same thing. And Unified receivers are not using the Bluetooth spec, that won't work sorry. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Happiness is something you gain. As it is said to profit another taste and another color I hope to taste this taste of your channel all the best to you I love you
Thank you!
Hi I have hand size 18cm long and 10cm wide. I am currently using logitech mk270 wireless mouse +keyboard combo. The mouse feels very small small to my hand size and and causes pain in hand. I am looking for a bigger wireless mouse. Do you suggest this one or some other model. Thanks.
We haven't tested any large wireless gaming mice but that's what you're looking for! Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
I have a big hand. Should i buy it?
It's still usable for large hands, but not as a primary mouse, just one you'd use when you need to work quietly.
Does the click really feels? or it is more like mouse without clicker?
It's sounds/feels softer than normal, but you still can sense it. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
So I can use my Unifying Reciever of my Ligitech Keyboard to this mouse? Just download and run the software to set it up?
No, the Nano receiver isn't a Unifying receiver. It probably will not work. Hope that helps! Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Very good point. I have read from different commentaries on amazon that yes it does work with universal receiver. Have you tried yet?
AFAIK the Nanos won't combine, no...
@@Techspin Alright thanks, I will let you know my experience. YOU ARE FAST :)
Hi. I have now my Logitech keyboard with its unifying receiver. My Logitech mouse was able to connect to the same receiver of my keyboard.
Can anyone recommend a mouse where the dang scroll wheel lasts at least a couple of years?
Mouse wheels are generally the first to go, depending on how much you use them. Try a proper gaming mouse instead... Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
what u think about using it for fps gaming?
You can use any mouse for FPS gaming, but there's a fair difference between a gaming mouse and this. You may be able to support your team but you won't take leaderboard? The HyperX Pulsefire Core we reviewed is pretty great and not too expensive. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
is there any pshycological side effect when u click the mouse but hear no click? hahaha
Yes there is! It's a little weird to click the button and hear no sound! But luckily, your sleeping gf/bf won't notice your activity. The scroll wheel on the other hand, is not silent at all! Please subscribe! Thanks for your support!
@@Techspin I am suppose the feedback is good enough for you to know that the "press" was registered?
Is there a left-handed version?
Not to my knowledge. I did try the mouse left-handed and it's passable, the ridge presses into your ring finger a little but it might work for you...YMMV. (I taught myself to be ambidextrous with mice, relieves carpal tunnel that I was getting)
Techspin I got the silent M 221 as a stop-gap, but that mouse make my hands look massive (I still wear junior-sized gloves as a goalkeeper).
It's the "price" of silence? hehe
Can you guys suggest a silent mouse model for people with bigger hands? One that would be good for gaming as well like League of Legends
Currently we're not aware of a large version silent mouse, but we'll keep on the lookout for very quiet gaming mice 😎 great suggestion! Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
I bought it today. Now I realize i need a keyboard too. Can any other keyboard be paired with the same adapter? I need other ports on my laptop and can't keep 2 ports busy for a mouse and keyboard separately.
Please suggest :)
You know we did a video for that, right here- ruclips.net/video/PjyFNpRmVv8/видео.html Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
@@Techspin Thanks for the link. I watched the video, liked MK 315 quiet combo. But the thing is it's not available in India.
I got M331 quiet mouse. I want keyboard too but don't wanna waste slots. Please can you give me a solution? 😊
EDIT: M331 uses Nano receiver, NOT Unifying. Can't do it man, sorry. Get a small USB hub.
try k375s, i use unifying on that both device, works well for months
I appreciate what you're trying to do, but Unifying doesn't always work, and if they but a K375 and have problems... you gonna answer them? :D
hi, is there any major difference between m331 silent and m331 silent plus? and thank you for the video, it's very informative and helpful when I was struggling with whether to buy m331 or not :D
Should be designated as m331 silent plus, shouldn't be any difference AFAIK. If you can, we always recommend testing it out in a shop before you buy. Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
@@Techspin thanks for your response. I ordered a silent plus but ended up with a silent one and couldn't find any comparison online. But it works well so i guess it's fine. Thanks again!
the lights blinks only after switched on? or after every sleep? i mean after every wake up after auto sleep if we move the mouse then the light will blink or not? please confirm.
Not sure as we recently lost the dongle to ours.
please suggest a keyboard, im using m331
The logitech K780 is probably the one I'd be looking at. The K580, the notch for the phone/tablet stand comes off too easily after months of testing. Please subscribe!
@@Techspin thank you
Does this work with iPhones on iOS 13???
Can someone test this?
Are the M331 and K270 comapatible?
Sure why not! But you'll need to use two dongles!
When they say "silent", I thought it will be no sound at all. Haha I was wrong.
Silent sells better than "pretty quiet". They have the same thing for mechanical silent red switches too, those also aren't truly silent. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Is this mouse is good for using 10hours straight?
Answered already
Which one is good m331 or m337
Depends on what you need. M337 has a 1000DPI laser optical sensor, so slightly better tracking. M331 is super quiet. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Difference between the M333 and B333 model?
I think they should be the same model? And you mean B330 and M330 yeah? Check it: productz.com/en/logitech-b330-mouse-vs-logitech-m330-mouse
@@Techspin Yes sorry, B330/M330
just bought the M330 - i tried to play with the left button's SINGLE-CLICK sensitivity - a weak click doesn't do anything and i need it more sensitive - any help?
thanks in advance
Do not buy m331 if you are buying it for gaming. My left side of my mouse already broke in less than 4 months of using :((((
It's the wrong use case for it. Like trying to win an F-1 or stock car race with a van.
Does this work on android phone bluetooth?
Needs its own dongle to function. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Does it work with the iPad pro since they support wireless mouse now?
Anyone? No iPad Pro here...
what's the difference between b330 and m330 ?
It appears to be region only. I looked at the specs, identical, and the marketing Logi uses is identical too, check it:

The buttons are silent, have they got the "clicky" feel?
Yes, yes it does. The feeling is still there, just not as strong, but you can tell you are clicking.
Techspin great, thanks
Techspin Would you recommend the non-silent one?
I cover that in my review... :D
why talk on top of the sound test?
Yeah we don't do that anymore, it's an older video ;)
how do you change the batteries?
There is a tab on the bottom, just slide it down/towards you, and replace the AA battery. :D Please subscribe! Thanks for your support!
That rubber on the side turns into dust after a year
Mine's still okay, weird. Your daily driver?
@@Techspin yeah don't think your gona fool anybody here
@@bluemagic3800 My experience was different than yours, and we probably live in a different climate than you (Taiwan has 60~80% humidity, has an effect on rubber). I'd suggest contacting Logitech CS and see if they can do something for ya. Sorry to hear about your experience, man!

this is not a full size mouse right?
Correct, it's a smaller mouse. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
For sure buddy 😊
jst one more question, is the mouse button unparalleled?
If yes does that creates any issues?
Umm, do you mean symmetrical? The lack of hand contour is okay, just normal. It's not bad, just contoured bigger mice tend to fit your hand shape better. Is this what you were asking?
@@Techspin like I saw few comments and review on Amazon claiming that the right button is slightly lower than left button, so my concern was is this the case? Is right button slightly lower than the right button?
So sorry if the question sounds very silly but I ssly didn't got any info on this particular question anywhere else.
Around 2:20 mark there's a closeup view then front view, shows you there that they're the same height.
So i have a Logitech k230 keyboard with a unifying receiver. If i buy the m331 mouse can i use just one usb for the keyboard and mouse?? I am new in these things please advice.
EDIT: It may work with the Unifying but we won't support questions or issues on this, sorry :D
They both need to use Unifying dongles. Not sure if the k230 does offhand, but the m331 is Nano, NOT Unifying. Get a tiny USB hub if you must get the m331 or the combo we recommended in our Logitech Mega test this year. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
yes you can, i used m331 and k37s with unifying and that works
Can we change the dpi of this mouce?

If my m331 have a "logi" wrote on the receiver instead of "logitech" based on your video, is that my product isn't legit?
Not at all, Logitech shifted to "Logi" for new branding in most (?) markets. Completely fine. We've seen that branding change on a lot of their newer products. Great question! Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
does m331 can be connected to unifying receiver?
Good question but we don't have time to test unfortunately. Anyone try this?
No, it won't. At least not out of the box.
yes, check the bottom of your mouse, if it has unifying logo that might be possible
It might evidently; we won't support questions or problems with this tho, sorry!
Mine has been around for 4 years and now my scroller is busted
Must have got this release day September 2016! Well 4 years is still a pretty good run for a mouse, and you're lucky, our Steelseries Rival 300 wheel crapped out after just 6 months!
@@mahit7 Well at least you got a refund man, hopefully your next mouse won't be as problematic for ya
Does this mouse have horizontal scrolling?
EDIT: Some mice have a left-side scrolling cylinder, like the Logitech MX Master 3, around $100usd amzn.to/3bbXD7i or the
Logitech MX Master 2S is on sale for $80- amzn.to/3gJ4J4x
Horizontal scrolling is usually done by holding down the SHIFT key and using the mouse wheel.
