I lived nearby for years off of Hyperion and Sunset. Good place to start, but to my mind the Vista theater was never considered a part of the Los Feliz district. You need to go up farther on Hillhurst to be in the Los Feliz area. By the way Leonardo DiCaprio lived on Hillhurst with his mother when he attended nearby John Marshall High School, the school I attended in the 1960s. The Messhall Kitchen use to be Michaels's restaurant after it had been a Brown Derby.

I find some places in LA tricky to determine which district they belong to, and yes - Vista Theatre is right on the border of Los Feliz and East Hollywood, so I just went with what Google Maps says :-)

I mean, Jason Bourne = Matt Damon, is that who we're talking about...?
    Colin Farrell
    Mel Gibson
    Russell Crowe
    John Steinbeck
    Stanley Kubrick
    Ben Hur
    Sandra Bullock
    Dennis Hopper
Robert Englund - who of course cameo'ed as Victor Creed in the fourth season of "Stranger Things", like so many things on that show, as a homage to the 80's, given the role ( 😝) he played in the horror genre of that decade
    John Travolta
    Olivia Newton John
    The Breakfast Club
Buffy was, of course, played by Not Sarah Michelle Gellar in the movie & therefore does not count! 😁
    John Cusack
Van Halen - the absolute kings of douchebag rock but damn, Eddie could play ... 🎸

Isn't parts of _Repo Man_ filmed here?

Repo Man from '84 is definitely filmed around LA, but I'm not sure it specifically had locations in Los Feliz. (Repo Men from 2010 was filmed in Canada.)
