Come along on a Spanish speaking shopping spree through Chino, California's swap meet. I loved looking at everything these vendors were selling, from Mexican CDs to live snakes. Many people are surprised to find out that I'm a Spanish teacher, and it was really fun to chat with these people in Spanish. We got some funny reactions and even got to try on some cool sombreros. Thank you for watching, you're awesome :) New videos every Saturday.

Hola, I'm Nate. I used to not know any Spanish at all, and I had no interest in learning the language. I thought learning Spanish would be boring, a waste of time, and would provide no value to my life. Then I started taking Spanish classes in high school and everything changed for me. I struggled with learning the language a lot at first, but thanks to my teachers and my Spanish speaking friends, they helped make the learning process fun. Within a few months, I had gotten to a conversational level, but more important, I had become a more confident person. The real win for me, though, was the friendships I made and strengthened. I discovered that not only did I have higher self esteem, but being out in the real world with people, whether old friends or new ones I met, made me feel more alive and connected with the world around me. Now it's my goal to create videos that make you smile and inspire you to learn Spanish or another language!

I'm from mia area, mixed (black/white) and speak a mia cuban street Spanish as well as some creole (French). Though until I found this channel I never realized how different Mexican Spanish is and this has helped me better interact/understand the communities down here.. and for this I'm incredibly grateful 🙏🏼
Me gusta este tipo de video porque usas español en contexto. Gracias!
I like this style of video, you should do more of these!
Fun video, this is great. Love the interactions and the hospitality!

From my area, there is a lot of this! Yo vivo en Texas, en la ciudad de San Antonio. Though I have not been to one of these in awhile. I hope to learn more Spanish so I am able to connect with others. Thank you for this video. :)
La verdad que tu inglés mejoro a través de los años nate good for you
Grandioso!!!
Me gusto mucha las herramienta landscaping aqui😄
That man chiming in with the chavo del 8 joke has me rolling omg
have you checked out the supermall in moreno valley or the indoor swap meet in perris? would be cool to see both of those spots. The "supermall" is an old target building that they basically turned into an indoor swap meet.
Qué chingón..! aprendiste a hablar español con acento Norteño 👍
We got swap meets in Maryland too you’d be surprised huge ones in Baltimore
We do have similar markets to that in the UK, Markets, Flea Markets and Car Boot Sales
Love that mustache... Muy Mexicano... Especially the older generation...
Also, San Jose has a fairly big swap meet too
It's here in az too, the swap meets
Come to the Vineland swap meet here in LA Puente
Hi Nate, what’s your preferred website to learn Spanish that is relatively cost affordable as well?
more spanish subtitles please :)
Nate, I'm in orange county, so close to these... Is this in Chino or Ontario? I Googled it and I'm seeing Ontario addresses for "chino swap meet"
I love seeing white Americans speaking Spanish and learning the Latin culture it’s a beautiful thing. Plus, I like the accent it does not bother me when someone’s trying to learn Spanish and has an accent.
It is discouraging to hear someone say, "You're accent isn't perfect." Glad to see your response.
@@worldobserver3515 claro. It’s nice. They trying. Our accent in English is not perfect so we cannot expect this from them.
I'm a beginner Spanish learner, any tips on learning Spanish faster and efficiently?
I recommend that you listen to music and watch series with Spanish subtitles and movies.
Speak speak speak! Have fun and enjoy the process 🎉
Check out the Pomona swapmeets! Muchos CDs 💿 😅
Did I miss something in the video regarding the circled handshake in the thumbnail???
I used to live there. Is this the one they’re closing?
3:26 I think that was “no, güey,” not “no way.”
How do you travel to Mexico Nate? I know this is a stupid question but like you travel there everytime so I was wondering if you're traveling there by taking the train or by plane since you live so close to Mexico
One could also drive about two hours from where this was filmed.
I should go to the swap meet to practice my Spanish. But, the level I'm at, the speech is a little too fast, still.
The grammar is so confusing 😢 I love you is te amo but I love it is me encanta, so different.
Not really.
encantar -> to enchant
Me encanta -> it enchants me (I love it)
@@TboneIsRogue sii exacto! Y Amar - to be in love
Amo - I love
Te Amo - To you i love
I think you are trying to translate it to English, its better to understand the meaning. Like "Te Quiero" is also "I love you", translated it is more like "I want you", which in English sounds like something you would say to your partner, but in Spanish the meaning is less romantic.
@@mikiex you see that's the thing about Spanish, from what I've learnt so far "quiero" the word itself is "want" but how come adding "te" suddenly becomes another meaning?
Mexican Spanish is the Best. Slow, clear, compare to English, USA=Mexico, alike
Spain= England,alike Centro & South American= Australia alike
why do they keep on saying 'they even sell you'
bad matamores vibes
I didn't get yet why the children want this kind of doll, it is scared.
Yo creo que Nate es TransMexican.
gringo means Irish.... you are not Irish..... St Patrick's Battalion
