deWiz is an incredible tool. I have just got it and a little overwhelmed at the moment, but I know it is going to help me a great deal.

Completely agree. Without doubt the best swing analyser on the market - head and shoulders above the two I’ve used before. I think once they add more training videos to their library it’ll be even better, but there are some good ones to look at just now. What have you been using it for so far?

@@AndysGolfBlog Right now I'm using the transition mode as I have been fighting an OTT/open face move for at least a decade! I will be trying the on-course feature this week. Things are so different when one is playing rather than practicing.

Yeah, the OTT is the exact issue I have in my swing, as you can see in the video. There's always a big difference between how you swing when practising without a ball and with, so I like the fact the on-course mode allows you to capture the data whilst actually hitting a ball. I think what I'm going to do is start documenting me working on the transition in the garden, then taking it to the golf course and see if over time my transition numbers improve. I guess with technology like this it's important to always be aware of the fact that there will be other contributing factors to the OTT movement, but at least having the data gives you a starting point for fixing issues - or at least trying to.
I also really, really like the data comparisons with the pros. Whilst I'm not trying to re-created Stenson's swing, I do think it's very useful to see what you should be aiming for in terms of data points based on where the pros are at. For example, without the deWiz or the data I get access to, i'd never be able to try and work towards the same positions or numbers as Stenson. Being able to actually have a baseline number to compare to, then see if it's working is SOOOO helpful!
