obviously heard of playing bogey golf (par+1 on each hole) before if you want to break 90, but a mindset of every hole is a par 5 might just be an improvement on that. I will try that next time out.

Yeah, it worked really well for me as a higher handicap and is definitely something worth considering. Once breaking 90 regularly, it can be adjusted, but I think it's a good way of just taking the par of the hole out of the equation and focussing on just one simple target.

@@AndysGolfBlog 13 and it’s been that way a long time. Can’t seem to break it.

At 13 there's no reason why that can't become single figure - no reason at all. I think it's even easier now with the new WHS. I got down to 6 with the told system but then back up to 7 and has been there for a while. If you're on 13 then you're really only a few shots away which definitely makes it achievable.

Thanks very much - really appreicate you taking the time not only to watch but to leave a kind comment. I hope that these tips help people in that they don't need to pay for a coach or spend hours on the range. Many of the things I have done have been fairly easy to implement but have been very rewarding. Without a shadow of a doubt, my top tip is to improve the short game as I really do think this can massively help golfers lower those scores!
