    Your completed blanket is beautiful! I’m a 71 year old beginner and when you got to the row that starts the narrow cable, I decided this is way beyond me. Maybe one of the other blocks won’t be so intimidating and I could just do more of those blocks. I’m hoping! 🤷🏼‍♀️👍

    I got it. Took me ripping it out once. Changing yarn and watching were to place the stitches...but i got it.

    Clarifying the end of row 3 : finish the row with a SINGLE crochet. Then chain one and turn.
    (That’s what’s done in the video, but the verbal instruction says “finish off the row 3 with a DOUBLE crochet in the top of that final stitch.”

    I feel there is a discrepancy between the video and the written pattern. I'm following the written pattern, but doesn't follow the video.

    The pattern is nice, however, the tutorial would be better explained, in my opinion, if more emphasis is placed on "placement of stitches in back", as well. Perhaps, this would help those who are getting different stitch counts... And, I am on week 3, as of today, Feb 21, Rope Cable, but decided to view video again, for better understanding, and here I am... AND YES, I have viewed the "coffee videos"... ♡LndSu

    I cannot row 3 to work any way I try. Is it supposed to be 3 sc between each cable or 2? I there supposed to be a sc in between fpdc2tog and the fpdc?

    Is there no way to get clarification? I run out of stitches when the video is performing another cable. How many stitches do we have after round 3?

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  6 месяцев назад +2

      You will always have 45 stitches in a row. When you are working the post stitches, be sure to skip the single crochet in behind the post stitches when working, say, the next single crochet in the row.

      @@RichTexturesCrochet how many stitches do you end up with each side of your square for the border, please? Is it 48?

    When we repeat rows 3 to 6, are we really repeating row 5 and 6? It seems like row 3 set the cables.

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  6 месяцев назад

      no, you will repeat rows three onward - this time when working the row, the stitches 2 rows below will be the front post stitches. You will be working all of your post stitches around the previous post stitches from row 5 onward

  • @beachgirl7598
    @beachgirl7598 6 месяцев назад +1

    When you say "working around the post of the previous st" do you mean the post of that sc that we did?

    • @E-magineMySurprise
      @E-magineMySurprise 6 месяцев назад

      The post of the sc that lines up with the previous stitch, but 2 rows below. Not sure if that helps.

    I do have a question. When you are working your single crochets into your chain at the beginning, are you going into the bump on the backside of the chains?

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  6 месяцев назад +1

      I am - I simply like the look of the finished edge when worked this way. For this pattern, where you put your hook for this first row however doesn’t matter :)
