Hey Meredith. I just signed up to Musket Powder. I’m sorry that I forgot to use your code. I’m very excited to try both of the flavors. I bought 2 each. Thanks for being sure a wonderful person
Just did an Eye of Round roast. Gotta watch those cooking times as it cooks real fast and can be tough. First time seeing one of your videos. What a cutie! I love your personality, humor, and of course you aren’t bad to look at. Good job and best of luck to you.
Your merry-made is spot on!! Try leave it merry fo 4 days some time. You will never do another roast for less than 4 days marring again! Love to you and family ❤️
Finally. Thank you ,a recipe with Worcester Sauce. A friend of mine worked at the Worcester sauce factory. She said that there is a secret ingredient in there which only about 3 people know.....it’s limes. Apparently it’s kept under very tight security ( it’s lime) and no one knows it. She told me...it’s limes. She probably shouldn’t have said anything ! Also I have news...I wrote a letter to our national farmers magazine Farmers Weekly last week and it was letter of the week! Big wup wup to me. Amazing really because I make it all up. Hope the rain didn’t do as much damage as you were expecting.Smiley emoji.
This Farm Wife Cooks Thank you kindly ma’am. I appreciate your congratulations. I’m not going to lie it was one of my best articles even if I do say so myself!
Never was a BIG cow girl fan BUT you are so sweet , honest as well as hard working -well y'all as you say best laid plans sometimes -go "astray"-lol!! Ok looks good I will try it next !!
Hubby brought home one on special. So, I tried it. Only I used Italian dressing for marinate. But I cooked as directed. Oh my. It's gonna make some great sandwiches tomorrow.
Had to come to this channel to watch another of your videos because I'm addicted. Your 'round" looks good but, I would cook a little longer. My personal preference is well done. Howdy from Texas.
That's what I was thinking. 3 dogs+spilled marriage= clean floor. Merideth hey you can pook(?) Stab it with your fork to help it abrose. How did I graduated from college? I can't spell with a damn.
Omg girl, I luv you, you're hilarious! Anyway....I just made your marinade , poured it over the roast and put it in the fridge. The plan is to cook it tomorrow night BUT... I play cards tomorrow afternoon and, being from Wisconsin, we like our beer and tend to "tip" a couple so hopefully I'll be vertical enough to get the job done. Can't wait to taste it!
Who every told you that it is Worcester sauce is wrong. It is pronounced the way you did it all of your life. Pronounced the way it says on the label. Great recipe, Many thanks.
In all my many years (way more than the 32 that Meredith says she she is) I never knew that Olive Oil was pronounced Olive owl. This was the dern cutest fun video !!! Love your humor and expressions.
Hi Meredith. Another enjoyable program. I've had good success cooking new things for my little one and me. It's helped a lot how you ease the pressure of having to follow impossible recipes. I've made pot roast with that broth powder you use and added corn which was extra. I've made beef short ribs that were really good. Steak. Smashed potatoes and I add sour cream. And I've made other things that you've shown how. My 8 yo is really impressed and thinks that my food is as good as at the diner. Anyhow thank you for the time and effort to create these cooking shows for us.
Round Roast is meat and has its purpose. My favorite worshipers shire sauce 🤣. Garlic in a can l 😎 cool. Thanks for the rub Meredith. Prayers from Ohio.
"I had to eat another piece" Hahaha! Love it. BTW you said to let you know where we are watching from in a video from a while back. Well we are from a suburb called Aberglasslyn in Maitland NSW Australia.
I watched this a while ago but now I’m doing the recipe. I have added a couple things, fish sauce (not a ton), about half a TBS of smokin Marie habanero sauce (really smoky) by Marie Sharps, highly recommend the original habanero sauce. The meat is marinating in the fridge atm. She’ll be roasting tomorrow after I get off work. Crossing my fingers.
Miss Annabelle says hi and looks yummy like her Ampa. Going to try this and do it with mashed taters and gravy. Tonight is pork chops on the grill and your recipe of mashed taters with cheese and 🥓 bits. Keep up the great videos
Love both of your videos ain't it just the life on the farm haying first a d get supper ready but the marinating was great the thing that was missing at least what we didn't see was dessert like your sweet potato pie!👍👍
Great recipes. If you have a vacuum sealer. Put your marinade and meat in it and vacuum seal it. It will suck the juices through out the meat faster. FYI if you’re in a hurry
Hey merdi chef david here and as a chef and my grandmother put WU-STER SAUCE on out cheese on toast, ie ur grilled cheese. Let me say just 1 more thing. ITS GAME CHANGINGLY DELICIOUS.
Good point! Well done is NOT well done! Spent half my life eating well done steak.... until one day that steak came to the table as medium rare....no blood and nice and pink inside....it was definitely better... Now I'm approaching it more rare than medium, just not much blood...just a touch and so good!
Yummy roast!!!!! Been trying several of your recipes. This might be a dumb question but I legit don't know . Why is it called a eye of round ? In case you know. Just curious
No,no,no 😂😂 darlin, everyone nose its pronounced WINCHESTER SAWS like the rifle 😂 looks mity delicious bone-app-ah-teet.😋 Ima, drewlynn like a starvin dawg 🐕😂

Meredith, I think you could talk a tree out of it's bark! I have to tell you that the lady in the picture where you put the thermometer, is a doppelganger for the lady I reported to for the last 17 years of my work career. She was a terrific gal, loved working with her.Does your lady have relatives in Oregon? Thanks for the entertainment!
I love watching all her video's. Would love to hang out an listening to all she says. Funny an alot like me. My own words an i also talk to inatatiment objects. Lol
I enjoy both channels very much. The question I have is what can I do to convert my lovely wife to stop eating her bead WELL done ? I eat mine rare to medium rare.
I have a funny story about the first time I ate beef cooked what I now consider the "right" way. My dad always cooked our steaks more well done, it was how I was used to eating them. Then one time at some family friend's of ours the power went out. We ate steaks in the dark and I didn't know what I was eating. It was delicious. "Mr. Dan" was like a Granddad to me cooked his steaks the "right" way and since I couldn't see how red it was, I ate it. And loved it. And never went back to wanting them well done. I don't know if that helps, but it's what happened to convert me. 😂
Merdie I just love watching your videos you crack me up girl. Also if that would have been bear grease you dribbled on your boot it would have been waterproof.
You did fine in my book . Don't worry about boo boos! Makes me think of my husband! He was so funny. He was always telling me he walked on water! and then I rolled my eyes! Sorry I'm getting emotional. He been gone now almost 4years.

I like to poke holes in my roast before I marinade them. It allows the juices to penetrate the meat better. Delicious!!
Who every told you that it is Worcester sauce is wrong. It is pronounced the way you did it all of your life. Pronounced the way it says on the label. Great recipe, Many thanks.

It is pronounced “Wusta shire” sauce. Although, Wooster sauce is comically unique :)

You were pronouncing it right before; woostershire is correct. 🙂
Now I’m just confused 😅

That would be the perfect side!

To help you pronounce Worcestershire
Just enunciate it Wooster Shear sauce
I hope that helps you
Wooster shear sauce.

Could have saved the Marinade for your next beef roast...
Do you ever cook much Pork...
Steaks, Chops, Roast, Cutlets, Ribs etc...
Or only Beef...
Not much, since we raise beef and it's what I have in the freezer. But I do love pork, too!
