@@RiverBloodfishing thanks for the reply I can’t wait to catch some skip jacks AKA Tarpon. It’s a 3 1/2 hour drive for me. I just hope they’re there when I get there.
Hey man good catch, no hate at all just want to pass the info on & educate. Your handling of that fish was very poor. Trout of all species are much more sensitive fish than bass for example. If you plan on catching & releasing, always wet your hands before handling the fish. You should also have a rubber coated net for the same reason (normal netting will damage the slime coating) plus you’ll be able to keep the fish in the net, in the water nice and healthy. Lastly dont keep them out of the water (in your net, in the water is fine) for longer than you’d want to hold your breath. Sadly theres a very little chance that the fish in this video lived to fight another day. Again this only goes for catch & release. No hate, just want later generations to be able to enjoy catching these beautiful fish from our fishieries
This was a fun journey. That rainbow trout was a nice one
What were using as bait when you caught that trout?
That fish hit the jig head with nothing on it I was trying to use orange power bait at first
U killed that fish with all that handling and bleeding should of just kept it
Agreed, i just posted a little blurb on proper handling. Pass on info & educate when possible🤙🏼
Bruh, there’s no browns in the entire little pigeon river drainage. And definitely no brooks or browns in gburg.
