Good morning this has been a perfect day just watched a new FabRats video and a new Matt's off Road recovery video and now you guys have a new video. In my opinion The Boss is a natural at driving the skid steer. I think the Boss needs her own recovery vehicle it would be a good addition to the team.
Robby...are you guys going to do the snowcat modifications and upgrades project series this summer sometime so it is done and mildly tested on dirt and/or sand before you need it in the fall? Matt may leave his too long and not get it done before then but you guys should do yours and finish it off with cool paint and big cat (snow leopard?) decals FIRST. Most people haven't seen or ridden in a snowcat ever and half of the country don't even get any snow so a LOT of people find snowcats, building them up, modifying them and so on interesting.
Heat guns work waaaaay better than a torch does on those solder butt connectors. Glad to see you use the right tool instead of flame like most people I see use.
Always entertaining stuff when you guys go out. I think I am calling Fridays the Utah trifecta. Matt’s, Robby, and Fab Rats. Replacing the Sundays Power Block TV.
Robbie don't forget to get wipers, off road lights and install gps and a lighter for charging your phones. just a thought. best looking tractor driver ever
What a cool wife , just watching her puts a smile on my face , such a cutie . Wanted to buy & operate the skid steer .& A personality that won’t quit .
Gerry from Oregon here. Shifted, sweatshirts and hatted out on the Coyote Works open campout and trail ride. Using same 98 silverado and R Pod trailer Robby checked door handle on. (fixed) 6 am Just spreading the word, "GO TO ROBBY LAYTON BODY SHOP IN EPHRAIM UTAH!"
I discovered solder sticks last year! It's the only way to go. First thing I did was buy three boxes. I restore vintage campers with wood inside and always the electrical systems need to be modernized and redone properly. It's just amazing how poorly people have done wiring in the past. Like Robbie, I would solder them together and then heat shrink them. Now with solder sticks It's all in one and way faster. And the shrink tube seems far more thick and watertight than just basic shrink tube. Great for building trailer lights that will last for a long time.
Fantastic job Everyone!! 🎉 lookin forward to the next adventure, great drivin btw mrs. Layton.. there might be a buggy in tha future👀?? Until tha next one stay warm & happy👍 😉.. ☕🐢
Probably the best commercial ad I’ve ever seen. Cut a wire and then act like it’s a problem and part of the show. Get the item advertised and use it to fix it. Genius
3:57 The soldersticks actually work better if you DON"T twist them. Just leave the end "poky" and push them together. That way there's more surface area for the solder to flow into. It's counter intuitive to how you normally work with wires, but it's a better junction in this application.
Hey, that makes sense, and I've never thought about it before. My problem is I am retired and have enough crimp connectors to last me the rest of my life and then some.
twist, no twist, anybody that has soldered as part of their living knows that has nothing to do with it. It's having everything hot enough that the solder flows to all parts. You cannot twist wires tight enough to stop the solder from wicking to 100% of the joint if you do it right...
Demory, yeah, young mothers are so cute. They don't realize they aren't talking to the babies some time. I am always waiting for her to break out into....."Happy birthday , Mr. P resident " Marylyn Monroe would love her. We do too. Nice add to the channel. Got your own Lizzy LOL !
I just seen you on Tuesday in sand hollow. Would of been great to see Hillbilly with his Toyota out there. I seen you in the back Hillbilly of the lameo. Would of been great to meet you guys, but didn’t want to chase you guys around.
hahaha your wife, "the boss", is so funny. I like the way her mind went directly to supercharging the skid loader hahahaha. Give her the key to some more throttle Robby. I have the confidence in her abilities to succeed.Hillbilly, I love your Yota, she's a beauty. Got a name for her?
When soldering or shrink-wrapping in a tight spot, I put some aluminum foil behind the splice to stop the heat from damaging whatever is behind the splice. 👍
That wire on the skid steer sure did have a clean break. It almost looked like it might have been cut😮. Could that have possibly been a paid promotion of the Solderstick products😂
I’ve been a heavy equipment operator for 21 years. Cat makes beautiful machines. But Kubota track steers have way more horsepower. In the tracks. Hydraulic power is totally different.
I was issued a brand new Tracker in my first job as a game ranger in South Africa. What a piece of shite. After much whining I got a SuperSafari. Now that’s a proper piece of kit.

Seems like a very clean cut, in an accessible area. Ahem. Very convenient for a solder stick product endorsement. ;)
Very! 😉
Thanks for the offer, ordered 100pcs, LOVE your channel
Sold er not sodder
Ask rorie😊
My goodness Demri is adorable haha. So glad she is showing up more and more in the episodes. Great video as always!
The Boss Demri is so cute in the hat! Great recovery.
I'm only here for Demri's laugh 😀 Thanks guys for sharing! Take care!
I love Demri. "I think we should supercharge it. Is that a thing? Can you supercharge a skid steer?" 😎
You can turbo a diesel engine and supercharge to feed the turbo
Many of them are turbo.
It’s nice to see the boss out and about making sure the boys gets the job done right 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😎

The winch attachment for the skid loader is sweet!
Your Boss just gets more and more beautiful with time. You are one very lucky man!
Good job everyone!! Nice to see "the Boss" driving the skid steer. She looks so cute in there! LOL!!

Demri is just adorable, swear she gets better looking everyday
I appreciate that you would normally solder and heat shrink normally. Solder sticks in a pinch to the rescue! good stuff!
Good recovery, great to see Demri driving the cat.
You are just the nicest people. So enjoyable to watch.
She looks so cute in that hat on backwards sitting in the skid steer. She's definitely the boss
I just bought the 400 piece solder sticks. I’ve used a few and love them. So easy to use.
remember the blue is glue that melts and the solder melts,,,,I m glad you enjoyed this product
Heat guns work waaaaay better than a torch does on those solder butt connectors. Glad to see you use the right tool instead of flame like most people I see use.
Yeee.....
Haw.....
A ROCKIN ROBBY RECOVERY AND RESCUE, with crew,
I can't wait for Sunday already.❤
Always entertaining stuff when you guys go out. I think I am calling Fridays the Utah trifecta. Matt’s, Robby, and Fab Rats. Replacing the Sundays Power Block TV.
Your customers like you so much they even help you point at the other videos 😆. A job well done!
that defroster located right there is something I could`ve used many times when the snow starts building right there.
Awsome recovery guys....the whole crew works together like a well oiled machine....great shots & editing !!
Robbie don't forget to get wipers, off road lights and install gps and a lighter for charging your phones. just a thought. best looking tractor driver ever
Great job everyone! You guys need to get some rugged radios.
The Boss is so cute!
I agree with Demri, you need to super charge the skid steer. 😳😂😂😂
I'm beginning to think she's the instigator on a lot of Robbie's crazy ideas, lol....
If only you new how supportive she really is in our crazy ideas :)
I have officially concluded that Robbie and Hill Billy act like an old married couple.
Hillbilly likes them rainbow ford trucks
@@professorfalken4600 No. He just likes normal Ford trucks. If he liked 🌈 colored trucks, that would be just weird.
I was thinking the odd couple
Awesome Recovery ,love the surprise another truck comes back better than whan it was stolen, unfortunately its not the way it works in New York
I've used the solderstick's on few projects over the last 8 months and they are awesome. Worth the purchase!
I just soldered a bunch of wires yesterday. Those solder sticks look very nice!
I think you are a very smart business owner and you think through your recovery that good to see someone prepared. 👍 professional
What a cool wife , just watching her puts a smile on my face , such a cutie . Wanted to buy & operate the skid steer .& A personality that won’t quit .
Great video and great job with the recovering and God bless from GA and stay safe

My goodness, Demri is melting away! She's such a sweetheart.
Little tip if a rig is like that turn left go forward then turn right and back up over and over it will help alot more than just forward will
Wowsers that is definitely unique recovery guys. Nice job. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Don't forget the "D" rings for the front holes in the skid steer. It will save wear on your ropes.
Easy Recovery ! Thanks for sharing !
Another great and entertaining recovery
Fantastic job Everyone!! 🎉 lookin forward to the next adventure, great drivin btw mrs. Layton.. there might be a buggy in tha future👀?? Until tha next one stay warm & happy👍 😉.. ☕🐢
The boss is so sweet. Robby’s on top of the world. Hillbilly needs lockers and let’s other’s opinions slide off like rainwater.
Skid steer demolition derby! That would be fun to watch. I love this channel!❤
I've been using the solder sticks for years I love using those on my Wiring. on my Polaris RZR .
The Boss is great driving that machine...Great recovery...
Solder sticks work great, used the on wiring on a boat trailer, no issues, 👍🇺🇲
My grandpa said "If you take care of your tools, they will take care of you."
NEEDS TO BE ON A BANNER IN YOUR SHOP! :D
Hillbilly needs a set of Spartan lunchbox lockers. Cheap but effective, and easy to install.
Great job lady and gentlemen
You guys are always fun!!
I think the Voss lokes driving the skid steer! Got him turned around and back home!
cool stuff robbie !! ordered the solderstick kit and the heat gun. thank you.
The boss got it she looked good in the skid loader reminded me of my wife many years ago she taught a city kid how drive a tractor
Probably the best commercial ad I’ve ever seen. Cut a wire and then act like it’s a problem and part of the show. Get the item advertised and use it to fix it. Genius
Really enjoyed this video keep 'em coming

It was all a fake set up anyhow on the Cat
@@dobledekersoulwrekr so, who cares? He gave a demonstration of a product he was paid to promote. It's called making a living.
@bripslag I wonder what else he fakes?

Just ordered my solder sticks, thanks.
These paid ads really do work.
Fun times an great content 👍. Thanks for sharing 😊.

A fun day out playing with friends in the mud, way to go guys.
great job robby and crew
The Boss is the cutest person ever!❤
I just seen you on Tuesday in sand hollow. Would of been great to see Hillbilly with his Toyota out there. I seen you in the back Hillbilly of the lameo. Would of been great to meet you guys, but didn’t want to chase you guys around.
Hillbilly is right, taking your keys with you is a good habit.
Awesome recovery; enjoyed it very much!
I think the skid loader needs a Robby Layton Nation paint job!
hahaha your wife, "the boss", is so funny. I like the way her mind went directly to supercharging the skid loader hahahaha. Give her the key to some more throttle Robby. I have the confidence in her abilities to succeed.Hillbilly, I love your Yota, she's a beauty. Got a name for her?
You are such a fun group!
Brilliant you demrie and hillbilly make a great team 😂. Brains 🥴Braun 💪🏼& Beauty 👩🏼
Just remember, WWDD! What would Demry do? LOL New sticker idea!!
Yes. Hillbilly needs lockers. Good job guys. 😊
The solid sticks work great. But be careful not to put to much heat on them because the solid will melt the plastic.
When soldering or shrink-wrapping in a tight spot, I put some aluminum foil behind the splice to stop the heat from damaging whatever is behind the splice. 👍
no lockers.. use 150wt gear oil.. it'll help in meantime
never seen wire fixed like that neat
Robby's telekinesis is right on‼️💪🤩
That little Luv truck would make a good vehicle to put a Merecedes diesel in. In junkyards everywhere
great show!!!
That wire on the skid steer sure did have a clean break. It almost looked like it might have been cut😮. Could that have possibly been a paid promotion of the Solderstick products😂
Of course not…. Wire actually broke yes paid promotion also yes do we use them also yes :)
Cole the Cornstar needs those solder sticks!
You are absolutely right!
been using these for a while they work Great
bought some, Thanks Rob
I’ve been a heavy equipment operator for 21 years. Cat makes beautiful machines. But Kubota track steers have way more horsepower. In the tracks. Hydraulic power is totally different.
Being the owner does have its privileges..staying dry is priceless.
Looks like Demri is sticking to the diet. She is looking gooooood
I JUST ORDERED A SOLDER STICK KIT, THANKS EMILE FROM CT.
Poke hydraulic couplers with a tool. You have to release pressure on the line. Then you can couple easier.
I was issued a brand new Tracker in my first job as a game ranger in South Africa. What a piece of shite. After much whining I got a SuperSafari. Now that’s a proper piece of kit.
Robby ur killin me with ur joking! Omg I love this channel!
Wow that winch bucket on the skid steer works so awesome!! #BuiltByBo
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
Lady Demeri rules, she has 2 court jesters to rule over.😊😊😊
You forget to mention it also gives you a waterproof seal 😊👍🏾👍🏾
Those solder sticks look like what we used for aircraft avionics.
Someone sent that to you? That’s awesome
Wet muddy = slip sliding away. Good recovery. Need some yankum straps.
Miss seeing Dinner. You should put out a shirt: "No Dinner For You!"
Haha I actually like this idea thank you!!
