Jaymie is a trooper! Never complains , just does what needs to be done even being woken from a sound sleep , twice in one night. Thumbs UP to Jaymie!
EXACTLY!... Was jumping on to say the same... Bestest Wife/ mom/partner of the year award needs to go to JAYME!!!
Id be down for a whole Jaymie appreciation video, that woman does a lot and she does it well and with a smile. Wife, mother, friend, partner, Matts a lucky man, she's the Morrvaire of wives.
She does complain sand in her sand in her sandals
@@triggadidon ya but everyone has the right to complain about sand in their sandals, it sucks. So that's fair play.
@@frogsnacks totally right. It’s really sucks has some sand in the sandals.
Mom to the rescue! Love how Jamie saves the day everytime. Those moments as a kid.... Oh crap, call mom.
Yeah because your dad would kick your Butt! Moms well they just smile wryly at you and that can be devastating in its own way.
not in my family...mom just yelled, we called dad.
17 yrs old, mom made me wait 18 hrs before getting my broken ankle x-rayed and she was an RN....
@@jfk64kennedy95 Yeeaaahhhh, but if you're gonna tell that you NEED to tell more of the STORY and tell WHY Mom made you wait. Besides, we are all nosy and this sounds like a good story :D
I was expecting to see Eric in the flatbed but it was Jamie. Lol. What a trooper.
@@jfk64kennedy95 mine too, and she made me ride in a full sized 80's van from Nebraska to Oregon with no pain pills. The orthopedics dr called her a sadist. But I was 13.
Trevor is the funniest guy on this channel and we don't see nearly enough of him.
Came here to make this exact comment. hazard lights in the river lmao...
I do miss him screaming..."Ruuuuuddyyyyy"
The Trevor / Tucker combo is like Laurel and Hardy.
That being said, I still miss Randy.
That guy is low key genius
Wow. Seriously wow. Matt holding his word when he made a genuine mistake about the straps and Morvair shows just what kind of person he is (and his team!). Love you guys as always!
Thats nice of him but i still wouldnt pay $500 for a strap set

The glamour of doing recoveries: standing in a river with rain, lightning and thunder. Just wearing a t-shirt, jeans and work shoes….
If it was a video game it would be called Ford Nite
When they opened the roll back and Jamie was in there I was so stoked. Sick!
Jamie is the best! Called out twice to save the day AND she can drive a flatbed!
Men do that all the time it's called a job 😑, wtf you think firefighters, cops, doctors, EMTs, civil plumbers, civil electricians, critical power plant staff, critical water supply staff, sailors, military, and of course truck drivers. Smfh
But you know off camera you know that she is bitching like hell, are you up and serious I need to get my beauty sleep even though I'm already beautiful God dang it what the hell y'all knew the damn tire was flat why didn't you put another one on it, instead of having me bring out a damn air compressor coming now you need a damn good are you serious, here you jackasses got me out here in my damn bed clothes are you effing serious
@@ifyourmarriedyourasimpanda7440 Exactly the point. It’s not impressive when a man does it or for a man to do it. Thanks.

Yeah, Ok...whatever, stud.
I like rivers very much. Especially when you do live streams.
🤣
The exhaust note on the MORRVAIR…superb!
Jamie driving the flatbed 💪
WOW, must be nice to have your own towing company that seems to be operated by Jamie at all the crucial times! Cheers to you Jamie! 🍾
no thats just how towing is what u expect Matt to work 24hrs 7 days a week lmao he also runs a RUclips channel.
Jamie for the rescue! Well done
Every time I see the dogs run I can hear them thinking, when they return to the vehicle, "dad has the greatest job ever".
“Trevor trying to stay dry” could be an action figure😂😂
with just socks on..lol
Looked like he was wearing hot pants or something. 😂
Jamie pulling up in the flatbed is the most gangster thing I’ve seen in a while.
Moms don’t mess around.
You’re a beast Mom!! ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Looks like an opportunity for a spin off channel, Jamie's on road recovery
when Lizzy in the reeds in front of Matt, I could here Steve Irwin, "here we have the rare yellow tow truck in its element" lol
Lol
"Aww, lookit 'er, isn't she a beauty!"
Jamie is on duty 24 hours a day!
They aren't in deNILE! They are in deVIRGIN (river).
I'm glad there was no flash flooding. I wonder if a HD off-road recovery vehicle would come in handy for times like this?
All those guys in the river, I guess it's not a Virgin any more...
@@AndrewAMartin just having that Ford in there it was all F-ed up!
Matt proves it in his merch - he is definitely a STRAPPING lad. My puns and dad jokes are on a roll.🤣🤣🤣
Love how Jamie just pops up doing what needs done. Even in the middle of the night in her jammies!
I think after this video it shows that Jamie is the back bone of the outfit. Another amazing video with thunderstorms and lighting
Okay. Every video where Trevor isn’t there leave a deep empty space. I love his commentary oh so much. Such a hell of a crew you have Matt!
It will never matter how much good you do. Somebody will complain. The live event was fun to watch and take part in. People need to lighten up.
Sounds like the old 7.3 needs some love.
they're like that from factory
Needs a new owner. I know this Canadian guy ...
She definitely took on some water.
Definitely not firing on all Cylinders.
I always love when the Morvair digs into her work, setting up for the pull. She is one mean machine Matt.
The Morvair really is an amazing vehicle. I love the twin stick transfer case and how she just floats on top of the sand and ,most of all, she is a station wagon.
@@Vile-Flesh Yes one sweet machine. Wonder if Matt is gonna build another project vehicle for his business 🤔. Hope so love them builds
You must have the worlds happiest dogs, being able to follow the recovery vehicles through the desert all day!
You should put a GoPro on the dogs!!!!
Amazing, wholesome footage ❤️❤️
Jamie is a force to be reckoned with!!!!
Yeah, you don't want to be anywhere around a wash or river that can flash flood. Some of the flash flood/debris flows I've seen in Utah/Arizona are terrifying....
I've see some videos, and at least one with people trapped in a narrow canyon. What makes flash floods really scary is all the debris that is pushed along at the head of the flood, making it like a solid wall that a person would have no chance of staying upright in.
I was supposed to camp on the White Rim trail in Canyonlands in Moab last year. Had to end up cancelling my reservation along with many others exactly because of this, especially since my camp site was in a low lying area next to the river. Better to play it safe, I can always go back.
@Toasty You also have to know the terrain. It could be sunny where you are, and a storm miles away could have dumped a lot of water that's coming down a wash or river right for you.
Some of the really good chasers can get to a wash a descent amount of time before the water/debris actually gets there. It's pretty impressive...
Are you sure?
You all lift my spirits taking everyone along with your family first adventures . Thank you for posting all the great videos on your channel.
One of the first Matts videos I watched was Matt talking about he doesn’t carry a spare because he hardly ever gets a flat. Since that video I’ve seen like 20 flats.
I bet it off the jobs he does with them, it's still not that many. Plus when you have your own roll back and other methods, it's no big deal.
Most people I know don't take spares with them unless they're for from home. A spare 40 is a ton of extra weight and space
@@trubass75 Plus it's more dead weight that you don't want on mud or sand.
Someone should make a channel of just following them with tires and fuel
Have you seen the video where he claims that he doesn't have a winch because he would never use it?
I would love to eventually be able to be apart of an off road recovery team. Love seeing your and your whole crews passion for helping people matt!
When you see Ed you know the big guns are out to get the job done!
7:55 the black socks in the river 👌🏼😂
Just watching the video makes me feel like I have sand everywhere 😉 Job well done 👍🏻
The dogs seem to have a wonderful & interesting life out on recovery.
I did wonder if Matt's phone was waterproof enough for this environment - it does get tested.
I watch this channel for many reasons but I must confess that one is to see if the dogs are going to make an appearance. This one cracked me up with the dogs standing in the river watching the hoomans working instead of playing.
Skeeter's so old when he walks into an Antique store 3 people place a bid on him! 🤣 I'm here all day!
Go Jaymie! Wow super mom to the rescue, some heroes wear capes, others drive tow trucks in their pjamas. She is awesome
Love the recovery content. Would love to see the girls camping. I can see them being more capable!! As for the order snafu, I noticed it but didn’t say anything. I was just happy to support you guys, but the way you’ve all handled this is above reproach. Just one of many, many reasons I love you guys and gals.
Hey matt you should carry a air compresure in all of your vehicle atlest a 1 gallon one so if you guys have flats you can air them up on the spot just a friendly tip. And also a good tire repair kit
It’s obvious Jayme is the backbone of the operation. She has to rescue the rescuers
Good to see flash flood awareness when it started to rain. Desert floods in the monsoon season can sneak up on you and be deadly.
Hi Matt, I've been watching your videos for awhile and I absolutely love them, especially the builds! I have heard you mention the "Triangle of Dead" a lot, and I'd like to hear more about the risks associated with it. My dad always taught me to stand clear of winch lines that are in use even if it's only one. I would love to hear to take on these topics. Keep up the great vids!
traingle of death is literally standing between two winch lines.
Absolute worst place to be
Basically on this one. If that shackle on the pickup snapped. It's gonna be launched into the triangle of death, plus the existing risks of winches in first place.
Not saying you have to be scared of them in all scenarios or implying Matt and his crew are in danger at all times etc. But winch lines and towballs have both caused fatal accidents
Excellent Jerb once again... impressive how versatile your crew is especially your wife Jamie... thoroughly enjoy 😊 watching your programs...
Robby Layton, Matt's Off-road Recovery and then Fab-Rats are my mornings 'go-to' channels and from there I've now got a dozen more to follow from the connections you've exposed us to...
Thanks 🙏🏻 for Sharing
Is that "great jorb?"
Phragmites and such and sucking sand. Great recovery. Jamie is the rock and the glue. Thanks MORR!
Jamie, your work Is amazing and doesn't go unnoticed!
Little safety comment: as a guy who lived and breathed building and competing in rally cars for 20 years - you need grab handles for passengers in your vehicles.
"Hold on, Ed!" and Ed grabbed the cage tube ... if people do that and things go wrong, they end up with mashed hands and may be trapped by that hand.
Grab handles and then muscle memory to use them is the way forward.
yes, another water body rescue. So fun to watch 😘
It's a good thing that your team is on the ball and take whatever comes up in stride. The job got done and all hands were on deck. Good work and awesome job. 🤙🤙🤙👍👍
Well done Jaimee to the rescue...what a team.
weak sidewalls seems to be an issue with the Milestar tires
This is a known fact.
Yeah, but Matt gets that sponsorship money
matt took the morrvair down in Tennessee climbing rocks a different terrain the Utah. go check out the video it's on bleeping jeeps channel.
Looking like a great recovery
I like the crew resolving the problems with the ordering. They're the best looking crew I've ever seen on a help desk!
Great stuff guys. Thanks to your whole team for working so hard to share your stories and your merch.
Love watching you guys!
It is time for Matt to stand in the corner or sit on the naughty step of the stairs... 😆 "Bad Matt" or something like that. 🤣
Sand water and diesels don't mix! Good job getting it out! Jainie the life saver with a compressor and the tilt bed truck!
Very interesting, fun video .. production values and personalities rising and rising! MORR got me started becoming a big fan of all these great Utah Reality Tube channels ... thanks!!
The tires
BFG would probably give you some good tires. You have proven the value or lack there of on the Patagonia's. Why are you so committed to them?
He's talked about it before. They are good in soft sand which is the majority of their recoveries.
Came to comment this, seems like he blows them out like crazy
Bfg, maxxis, some Coopers good. Patagonia's 👎
Yeah he already stated he like them the best for the sand and .... I think he gets those for free from Milestar. I know they are doing that with a few other offroad channels. I run BFG Ko2's on mine since 2015 and KO's before that. never had one split yet. Matter of fact I never even had a flat either.
@@jamescole6846 I had a bfg ko2 completely rip apart once on my jeep. Now I run mickey Thompson's.
I’m guessing que cards and a proof reader (Jamie) are in order. Matt honors his mistake. Well done.
Jamie running the roll back. Respect! 💪
Great video. We've binged watched all your videos and are caught up now! Best channel on RUclips.
Lizzy makes the show as always.
A milestar with a sidewall split!? No... that never happens 😕 haha
When Matt drives them on the road at 8psi it’s expected. But I think you are referring to a wider reputation…
@@philb5593 yep the M/T are known for splitting sidewalls. They supposedly fixed the issue with the new version though
Absolute garbage! But I guess if you get'em for free......
They also suck in mud. If they marked them as all terrain tires it would be okay but not mud tires.
@@briankirwan9588 I'd give them a shot but from what I hear, they're cooked in 20k and I'm not spending that kind of money yearly
Thank u for your great video and I am so glad Ed was in the video. Thank you so much.
Gotta love a 7.3 started up like that after a flash flood so great !!
Tucker is back! Glad to see you back in the video!

I was wondering why I got a refund. Haha
I was just happy to support your new bays! And get my future man a set of awesome straps.
Go Jamie! Get these boys all lined up.
Love watchin all y'all.
Question on the Matt's Straps. On the website (as seen at 5:43 ) It says "10,000 Lbs Breaking Strength" in the big bold text... but then immediately below that it says "A break strength of 4,400 lbs..." What am I missing that explains the 2 different numbers?
• I'm going to guess it's a typo.
• The 4,400# is most likely the WLL , i.e. the max weight of a LOAD ITEM that the strap will be Working to secure , allowing for the dynamics of travel.
• The 10k# Break Strength is what it says. There is some elasticity involved , & the ACTUAL limit will vary a bit for each strap , but you certainly don't want to FIND OUT ( the HARD way ! ) .
• Also , there is often a tattletale band of a contrasting color down the middle , which should be regularly inspected for breakage. These are "Tighter SPEC'ed" threads acting as a Visual Fuse , indicating that THAT point of the strap has EXCEEDED its limit ( due to a brief dynamic action/shift during transport , an improper tie-down arrangement , etc. ) and the strap should no longer be trusted for its Rating , & REMOVED FROM SERVICE. Since these are Made in USA & FAA Rated , they'll be accurate.
• Since QC varies WILDLY in (#iNa , & due to "Lost in Translation" issues , i am less trusting of 4n made tattletale bands , as some smaller manufacturers have been found to have thought of them as "Cosmetic" , not knowing their function.
• Can't wait to buy MATT's stuff , but i should probably get the Jeep rebuild finished 1st , eh ?
I’m sure the 4,400 should be kg cos that equals 9,700lbs. 😎
Does the ratchet and strap have different ratings?
That’s bad marketing. I noticed that too.
Listening to that Ford pickup on my headphones is music to my ears. Amazing idling sound!
Jamie coming out twice. What a trooper
I guess he couldn't Ford the river...
What a disgusting engine compartment, that's not all from being stuck either! The owner should be embarrassed! Great recovery.
Great video and great job with the recovering God bless from GA stay safe
Nice work on getting them out.
I think it’s time to put a spare on the roof
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery It'd make more dramatic videos lol

Great video ya'll!! Jamie your one of a kind girl good rescues!! Ya'll did great recoveries!! Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
I enjoy watching your show. I watch them during my lunch break to destress from teaching. I always have a good laugh. Keep up the good work. I have been to Hurricane, Utah twice. I had no idea that was Homebase. Keep up the good work.
Why on earth would you (to the owner) disconnect the air filter at anytime let alone doing off roading?? You (the owner) will be rebuilding that motor shortly and deserve every headache you get and dollar that you are throwing away. Dumbass. Other than that, very enjoyable to watch. Thanks!!
It probably got wet and the engine wouldn't run through it
The whole family (including everyone) is in this together! What a great channel! What a fantastic team! I say this so many times but it's true! You guys are great! And who doesn't love Lizzy!!!
I love seeing these recovery videos, especially when I see familiar country. Loved the shots of Shinob Kibe in the background.
And like Matt would say: this was a perfect job for the heavy offroad wrecker. 😜😁😇

Brilliant work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
There's one thing you can depend on from Matt's recovery team they're going to get you out one way or another! Jamie has been a top contender for Matt's job! 😊 She's always there when they need her and she can drive the recovery vehicle's rollbacks and all! Maybe even the biggest wrecker soon! Good job 👍
These midnight runs the long hours the lagistics of all the equipment is EXACTLY why I never wanted to be a tow truck operator but I've always liked the tool of a wrecker.
I was really impressed when I saw Jamie pull up with the flatbed!!!👍👏
Jamie reminds me of my late wife. If had a steering wheel, she could drive it.
