Since I permanently eliminated gluten, in 2009, I stopped having joint pain daily, digestive issues, depression, and many more issues. I still have have some, obvious to me, autoimmune symptoms after decades of consuming the toxic grain. However, overall I feel & function much better, and feel as though my body is continuing to heal after more than 10 yrs.
I suspect I have leaky gut and I test it every once in a while. About 2 years ago I gave up breads, and pastas-especially the cheap kind used in commercially prepared foods. Yesterday I ate a large portion of store bought ravioli and today I have slight sciatica. I have had zero sciatica for about 3 years and thought I could get away with cheating. Nope!!! my left leg is feeling tingling and slight pain deep inside. I wish I knew this 35 years ago as in my thirties and forties I had a LOT of sciatica, (and ate a lot of pasta etc) I drank some organic beef bone broth just now and hope my tight junctions....get tighter!
@@DrVikkiPetersen is it inflammatory in the sense that it causes gut permeability to increase, thus allowing bacteria & tiny food particles to enter the blood stream?
Just curious, are there any gluten free grains that you strictly avoid (certified gluten free oats, rice, non gmo corn, millet, quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth, teff, sorghum, fonio, job's tears), or are you ok with all of those?

Yes we see this a lot. Gluten is very inflammatory to the nervous system.
