Whether you use glycerin or baby oil, you have to mix them with water. That helps them move faster. I really like the way yours turned out. The glow in the dark is so beautiful! Great video!
I would watch hours and hours of footage of you flipping that beautiful creation up and down over and over in the dark. It’s captivating and sho shparkley, i’ma die!! ✨💖💗
Yep lol half distilled water half glycerin if ur not using baby oil.. ppl also use half distilled water with half clear glue... Just distilled water etc etc... Also.. I'm waiting in my first molds from dragonsoul right now, but he suggests to use epoxy resin on the inside edge and uv on the lower edge (hope that makes sense?) When u seal the shaker pieces to each other.. cure the uv resin and it will hold the shaker together while the epoxy around the top sets.. he says its the only way he will recommend to do it now 😅 looking forward to getting my pkg fm him!🥰 I didn't get the moth this round but he's definitely on my list!! 🤩 Urs still came out AWESOME!! welcome to another addiction grrlie!!😂😂 And I missed the poll lol but I use baby oil myself ☺️
First of all AMAZING!!! Second, never question using glitter. Glitter is Arsty Madwoman🥰 Third, when I think your last piece is the best thing you’ve made, you make something else even more incredible! Love your excitement and I want to be you for a day 😆 Also you and your hubby are just adorable ☺️
You did amazing on this i think the slow shaker is more fitting for it because its so pretty. The glitter moving slow with the background glitter in the back its like its in slo mo 💜
A-freakin-mazing! My daughter and I love your content. She always asks to watch the beautiful girl with the pretty colors in her hair with the proxy and the glitter (she was 4 when she started watching your videos)
Kayla is going to flip her lid when she sees the awesome job you did with her mold. I made a video but honestly yours is spectacular. Also, it doesn’t matter if you use baby oil or glycerin both work perfectly fine.
One thing I forgot to mention is a mix the glycerin with just a little bit of water to help with the movement. You don’t have to mix anything with a baby oil it tends to move a lot just on its own
You two are adorable together. I love watching your videos. I am making resin gifts for the families of my daughter in law. We have a September wedding
I having been watching your channel since the beginning (vlogs and all) You have done such cute things. I absolutely love this shaker piece. You have totally inspired me to really delve into my craft and feel passion for it. I'm a perler bead painter BUT I blend my perler designs and casting resin as complete pieces. Keep being amazing. You don't realize how inspiring you are to people even to little ol' me down in Texas.
Love it!!! All the colors go so well together 😍😍 I actually made a mold like this too! Little tip. Baby oil works so much better but glycerin can be mix with water to thin it out a bit, also making your whole before your fill it and seal it works so much better. After you make your first shaker it’s addictive lol.
Love love love the color choice and glow in the dark. I just purchased some tiny glow in the dark moon and stars that would be absolutely fabulous to add to this.
I love that mold. I bought shaker molds, but they came with plastic sheets, with so many steps. I haven't even made one yet. Yours is so much better!!!
This is so cute! I wish I was resin savvy cause trying a dark colored shaker with glow in the dark pigment or paint mixed in the oil/glycerin might make a fun sort of lava lamp glow look.
This really is gorgeous. I just watched a video of how they do the shaker cups with glycerin and they mixed it with water. They had a recipe 2/3 cup of water and 1/3 cup of glycerin this made a big batch. But I love the glow in the dark ability. This is so cute.and cool I have to try this.
Had no idea what a shaker was but would be 1000% happy with this even if it's slow. To be fair, if people were telling you to use glycerin, they should have also let you know to mix it with water, if that's how it's intended to be used. Definitely don't think this is a fail though...did you see it in the dark?! 😍
In the future it is better to add the liquid after it's resined together. Usually by drilling a tiny hole and filling it so that you don't risk getting resin mixed in the glycerin
Glowing in the dark is cool, but it's very beautiful with the sparkles in the daylight. : ) Funny that you posted this one today, because I got a notice in my email from the place I got my resin and they talk about doing glow in the dark powders haha.
To prevent leaking next time add a doming layer of epoxy. UV resin will separate from epoxy resin if you hit/ drop it on the edge. Love the video on still in love with your hair.
Oh my fav crafty woman! question for you have you ever painted a flower or leaves with mica powder before putting it in resin? If so did you coat it with a sealant before you place it in the resin? I have had a request from something like this and I can't find any info on it!
I was told to do 50% glycerin and 50% distilled water. They said otherwise the glycerin can mold? I haven't done it but can you up date us if that happens? This is gorgeous 😍
So, many many moons ago I got glycerin because I thought it'd move a little faster but also because I decided I HAD to have colored shaker liquid. But if I mixed that with water, the colors would just bubble, right?
You can turn subtitles on! It’s an option on the bottom bar of the video (or top of the video if you’re watching on your phone) the three dots I think & then captions. Thank you so much! ❤️
@@ArtsyMadwoman YES! The. You aren’t distracted by them and have to read them like me. I tend to stare at them and read them I read of looking at the video.
So pretty!!! I also could not stop staring at your Unus Annus shirt ❤️

We sometimes are blessed by a live luner moth flying in our home town in Missouri
❤️🌈❤️ Only thing better than the glowslups is your hair! Love the purple!

Yea! They're active at night lol 😆 🤣 😂 🥁
This is so adorable, I need to get one!
I think it's really cute that Sean is either helping more with your channel or it's more obvious that he's a part of it. You guys are so adorable! 💖

I don't even like shakers, to be truthful, but this has got to be the best one I've seen anywhere. Very cool!
When I kept hearing you say shaker all I could think about was salt and pepper shakers 😅 this is really cute though!
Glad I wasn't the only one 😂
Me too😂😂
That reminded me I need new S&P shakers.
Thanks @erica
I looked for a bit to see this suggestion: when you fill the shaker leave a bigger bubble to help move the charms around inside. Super pretty outcome!
So stinkin cute. Thanks for the info on her etsy shop. Of course she on vaca right now...
You two are adorable together. I love watching your videos. I am making resin gifts for the families of my daughter in law. We have a September wedding
This is super cute!!!! Love how you took a glow in the dark clip! You can see the moons and stars better!
I'm so glad you did this! I've been seeing a bunch of shaker molds, but I haven't really known what you do with them! So cute.
Umm amazing accuracy and skill using that pipette to place the pink resin! Very pretty outcome! 🤘🏻
Glitz and Glam is my absolute FAVORITE glitter. It takes all my strength to not add it to every piece 😂
Super cute!
The shaker and the mold and the moth!!!
MORE SHAKERS!!!! This came out super cute!! 😍😍
The mold is awesome I love how the 2 parts go together.
Oh my gosh I love Luna moths so much I need this mold in my life!!! Also beautiful job ☺️
So pretty

Before I get into this video I gotta say... Girl!! Your makeup is AMAZING!!
Dragonsoulresin is my favorite I own all of her molds!
I love it! The blue stars and moon looked adorable inside the shaker. I also adore your enthusiasm Thanks for another fun video
It's so cute! Would be a great backpack charm too. Kids would love it!
Adorable glow in the dark shaker. Love it💓🤍
Those stars really look cool, I like it
Love your work & I also love how you say "freakin"! It's so funny.

Have a question... what is the clear film's used for in the shakers ?
Love love love the color choice and glow in the dark. I just purchased some tiny glow in the dark moon and stars that would be absolutely fabulous to add to this.
I admire you for filling in that outlines so precisely (with the pink resin). I would never be able to do that. Plus: Yeah, glow in the dark!
Beautiful! Love the "Glows-Up" Shots!
Now it’s time to dome it! It really pulls a shaker together
I love that you're always wearing a necklace with a pop tab. Is there a special meaning behind it or just your fave necklace?
I think it's just a fad cause alot of peeps wear one. But if there is a meaning I'd love to find out!
@@FearlessNimue must be a trend that’s making its way back around, cause I wore monster tabs in like 2005. 😂
This turned out so adorable! Some of my favorite colors used here. Thanks for putting out so many vids lately, you've been working hard!!
Cute! 🥰
Next time try adding some water to the glycerin it will move better.
GLOW my god thats amazing!💚
Love!!
Or the small imperial moth... They got 2 sets of eyes on their wings! 😻
I love that mold. I bought shaker molds, but they came with plastic sheets, with so many steps. I haven't even made one yet. Yours is so much better!!!
These molds are a game changer when it comes to making shaker keychains. I have several of the shops molds and I won’t purchase from anywhere else.
You can open the metal ring that’s attached to the key ring and add the hook one there as well so it won’t be as long
Totally adorable!!
Love this, sooooooo freaking prrrrrrrretty 🤗❣
I like baby oil because it’s less thick!
So cool!!
She has a link and code in the video description. 😀 counterculturediy.com/
The slow-motion in the dark looks great !!!
It turned out cute, if not what you expected. I also love watching your vlogs, and then putting that together with the videos. 😄
Love your glowy shaker; so very adorable
It is adorable! And also , you have such thick beautiful hair!
I love it even more with the glow in the dark!!
Love it!!
Lovely shaker and would love to try one myself.
OMG, how you try something for the first time and it's 💣!
This is so cute! I wish I was resin savvy cause trying a dark colored shaker with glow in the dark pigment or paint mixed in the oil/glycerin might make a fun sort of lava lamp glow look.

So cute! Note to self- Buy glow in the dark powder ✍✍
PS- 💜 the eyeliner!
LOL I also two made the same note about glow in the dark
Yup, her eyeliner is great.
You literally picked the ✨perfect✨ colors for this project, absolutely gorgeous!
Omg, it’s gorgeous! I need a giant version to hang on the wall. 😍
This is so cool. You do such great things. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
I love it! Also you look like Judy Garland you're so pretty! Lol I laugh because who even references actresses from the 30s but hi
Gorgeous!! But would love to see one with baby oil

I like the slow movement
More shakers please!!!
I use glycerin and water, usually 50/50. Baby oil get cloudy over time with some resins and glycerin is too thick alone.
Yes! you are correct, 50/50 is what I do.
The Etsy site for the moth mold is closed right now so sad.
Yes!! He posted on IG that he is in the process of moving and a few other things, but that he would get settled and right back to it asap!😁❤️
Love love love!
Omg this turned out soo pretty.
It turned out really cute!
I love how this turned out!

Yes, you are supposed to use water with glycerine. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!
So cute!! I love it!!
Love it!
this is so pretty omfg
Yay do more shakers love this baby oil is better
I make resin shakers and am going to open my own etsy shop soon.. I have never seen a mold like this.
Btw, I'm team baby oil. JS.
What happened to your flowery backdrop? I loved that.
Oh my fav crafty woman! question for you have you ever painted a flower or leaves with mica powder before putting it in resin? If so did you coat it with a sealant before you place it in the resin? I have had a request from something like this and I can't find any info on it!

When you use glycerin you do 50 percent water to the glycerin
So, many many moons ago I got glycerin because I thought it'd move a little faster but also because I decided I HAD to have colored shaker liquid. But if I mixed that with water, the colors would just bubble, right?
@@LegoBombed no it will not effect the colors nor will it bubble try it please

Any tips on cleaning out the dropper? I have some but I don’t want to use them once and then throw it away 😬

Have you seen the giant leopard moth? 😻
Subtitles or voice over when you have the mask wound be helpful for some of us, just sayin 😉 it's beautiful!
