I love how the glue blobs force the color to change at different rates from the rest of the piece! Really cool effect! Actually, makes it even more special!
Omg this is gorgeous! 1 tip that works for non staining pigment and especially glitter, if your piece fits you can put it on top of a loose newspaper page spread, and once the glue has dried and all you can dust the excess onto the paper first and then you can fold it up when you're done and pour it back into the bag
I would have never put glow, and gold, and glitter on top of an already amazing colour change, but.. Sometimes, more is more! I actually love it! Good job!
It’s so trippy omg. It’s like the glitter is sitting behind the waves of color changing and makes it look like stars and galaxy kind of omg I’m in love with this piece.
So, so obsessed. I really want to try some mood ring art. A couple notes on the gold leaf - just because I went down a rabbit hole on gilding recently. They do make glue just for metal leaf, it's generally called size. But, part of the trick is you need to burnish it or really rub the leaf onto the glue for it to stick, it probably would have worked with the mod podge if you'd rubbed it on more. Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue and will naturally expand as it cures, making it blobby. I think that using metal leaf and doing some gilding fits so well with your aesthetic that I'd love to see you experiment with it more. Like gilded leaves as accents in a floral piece could really pop. 💜💜💜
this piece is so beautiful! i actually think the gorilla glue blobs add to the water/wavy effect in a cool way!! a happy accident, as bob ross would say lol 💕
A great tip for the gold leafing is to use a simple glue stick. Apply the glue add gold leaf, let dry then clean off rest of gold leafing. You can also use CCDIY quick coat with a small paint brush, brush it on item and apply leafing, let dry then clean off rest of leafing. I love you ideas!!! Keep them coming.
Wow wow wow wow wow wow WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!! You've gone truly mad with the power. lol Wavy wood, glow powder, heat activated color change paint, gold leaf, resin, glitter. Put em together and what do you got, bibbidi bobbidi boo. Freaking magic.
I......L❤VE......THIS......PIECE!!!!!! This piece is GORGEOUS. I want one. So glad you put all the links below. A lot of people say they do but end up forgetting somebof the most important pieces we need. Most definately going to have to get some of this stuff. This was a GREAT video. You always come up with such incredible things. Thanks for sharing your talent, art and energy. You are so fun to watch. Can't wait to see what you do next.
Amazing!!!! Next time you tape off a piece .. at about 35 to 45 minutes in pull the tape away and then add the heat gun a bit. The heat will make the epoxy roll down the edge just perfectly. When you first start to pull the tape it’ll be sticky & stringy and it seems wrong but it’s right.. the heat brings it all together and finishes it beautiful. Try a glue stick for gold foil. The glow powders or any micas can be mixed with gel medium and then painted on for a no mess application and gel medium dries totally clear & glossy. This piece turned out stunning!! 🤩 I may have to make something similar. That solar crystal is addictive 😬 and sooo cool! Thanks for sharing your groovylicious art!!!
Oh wow, the gold leaf seems to hold onto the heat so the liquid crystal paint that's right next to the gold is warmer than the part that's farther away! (16:45-16:54) I love this and the other piece you did, I'd be happy to see a series of this sort of thing if you come up with any more ideas on making art with this paint.
See, you have good timing... I'm mad at the hubby and you just step right up and make me smile while allowing me to ignore him while he blathers on about cars and tools... thank you.
Woooooow!!!!!!! I am pouring my second wedding bouquet order today... you have given me so much direction for doing these big projects... thank you so much!!!
OMG GIRL next time YOU SHOULD PUT GOLD FLAKES ALL AROUND THE EDGES like a geode kind of. All you have to do is mix up a thick batch of resin and gold leaf and then slap it on with a craft stick when it's really tacky. It looks soooo cool with its done. This piece you made is SO BEAUTIFUL... the possibilities are endless with this look....😳 all the different things you could paint.
Turned out great! I love that base wood. I immediately assumed a good application for it would be to leave the sandy color and pour translucent blue (maybe with glitter) into the texture. The dips would would create a gradient leaving the deepest parts the darkest blue. That would be cool.
Absolutely cool. I ordered two of the liquid crystal jars, and couldn't be happier. Well I have a short story to tell u, I ordered a jar from amazon and it was not that full first of all, it was for fingernail art and I did a set of my nails, went back after about a week in a half to give to a friend to borrow, it was all dried up. I mean hard as a rock. I couldn't even use it to breakdown to a powder. So thank you so much for your contact. And again absolutely love the piece that you did gorgeous!!!!! Peace and be safe
Absolutely beautiful!!! For future projects get Aleen's tack-it over and over. You paint it on like modge podge but it stays tacky and hold onto gold leafing like a charm.
Quick thought on the tape front- Try the metal plumbers/vet tape. a lot of makers use it for a lot of versatile stuff. it is moldable, but it will hold it's shape much better when pouring resin. I usually find it with the duct work supplies at the hardware store.
I’d call this piece “Mountain Majesties” can’t call it purple mountain majesties because of the color changing but….it made me think of America the beautiful and all the mountains!
I think your channel is the best!!! Your crafts show how talented you are. You are the greatest. I love to watch because it's never boring while I learn all I can from you.
Oooommmmmggggg!!! This piece is precious!!! So beautiful pretty delightful amazing piece, I could admire it all day changing colors!!!! You really managed to top yourself!!! 💜💜 Now I need that paint in my life 😍
Omg 😲I'm obsessed with the wavey mood coloured board. Your eye makeup is so gorgeous 😍. Holely molely your a genius, would love this in my home.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥲
Beautiful. Just have to add in, since I can't find anybody mentioning it yet, another 'glue' that can work with gold leaf (only thing I've used for gold leaf) is garlic. Either let some partially crushed cloves sit in a bit of water a couple days, or use the liguid of a jar of pre-minced. You paint that in place, let it dry, then breath on it and place the leafing on, then cover and burnish so it sticks. (Note, I have, admittedly, only used this on paper and paper-like surfaces, so far, getting ready to mess around on painted wood, but haven't yet done so)
This turned out so cool! I like the little "blobs" as they add character to the waves... I cannot wait to see your next project using the solar color changing stuff! XOXO
Awesome hair H lovin the colour! The panel thing would make a fantastic beach / sea scene ( you can add that to your "to do" list 😜) . This is freaking amazing, its not just the products that make a piece of art, its the artist creativity that makes it beautiful and you sure do that!! ❣
OMG BECKY…. there is SOOOOO much going on on this piece but it totally works! I was worried about the glitter in the topcoat to start with…. BUT IT WAS AMAZING!
Ooh I like that color of glow in the dark. Probably using the black is black isn't necessary when you're going to put resident over it because the black is black only works when it's uncoated. I really like this piece. Mod Podge can work with foil but gilding adhesive is your better bet. I find if I try to use a PVA glue I'm best to let it tack up a bit then put the foil on and then leave it overnight at least
This is beautiful. I think it is a planet that we haven’t found yet. A far away planet. Lol yes I am really thinking planet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
Absolutely gorgeous, have you tried adding a little dragon fly glaze to your resin coat? It’s so amazing I love the effects so sparkling just like this one 🤗🤗
Oooo… I bet it really does! Thanks for the tip Gilly 🙌 💯👌. I follow your channel too.. altho I rarely comment, yes I’m a lurker 👀 lol 😆 ~~. For extra light shimmery goodness, I’ve been adding Unicone Art - Crushed Crystal Magical Mica Pigment Enhancer.. that stuff is true magic.. it’s like a glitter cheat but so much lighter. I offloaded a little bit into a tiny 5ml pot bc it fly’s away. But it doesn’t sink in the epoxy at all. Comes in a huge 2 oz container - 1 will last a lifetime! Between the Unicone Crushed Crystal and Maribu’s Alcohol Ink in Rainbow.. I have a hard time deciding. I have several Dragon Fly Glazes .. which ones are your favorites for adding to resins? I’d love to see if I find a new favorite 😻 🤩 Thanks!
I am so happy to see you using black 3.0! I love Stewart Semple and his culture hustle line! I have several of his things. His lit is so cool I have used it in resin. It charges with light or heat at least the original lit does the other colors I think are just light charging. I would love to see you work with more of his stuff. His mirror paint would be cool to see you used it is silver not gold but might be easier than gold leaf. Anyway this piece is absolutely gorgeous!
I love it!!! I want to try a set of coasters. Cold or hot drinks should change colors. Thanks for all the great ideas!!! 👍
Yeasss!! That’s such a good idea! ❤️
I got a giant lazy Susan from ikea for this exact reason. Wish my luck!
I love how the glue blobs force the color to change at different rates from the rest of the piece! Really cool effect! Actually, makes it even more special!

The heat gun over the color changing paint is so satisfying to watch!! So cool
I would have never put glow, and gold, and glitter on top of an already amazing colour change, but.. Sometimes, more is more! I actually love it! Good job!
Haha I test the limits of what is way too much 😂 thank you so much! ❤️
@@ArtsyMadwoman Good girl! Someone has to ;)

The gold foil makes it look like a bunch of little sandy beaches!!! I love it!!! 💕
The Black 3.0 backing was so good! Even over the screen it looks like velvet!!
I love the dimension you can see in it, and the fact that it changes colors as your watching it, is so amazing
It looks like the aurora borealis and the glitter looks like stars. Love it!
I think the "mistakes" were "happy accidents" because it gives it an abalone shell like effect. I love it turned out beautiful.
Seriously!?!?! You're like frickin Batman of the art world... You have all the coolest toys 💚💙❤️💜
Awww omg thank you soo much!! ❤️❤️❤️
Love the color change and glow in the dark.
this piece is so beautiful! i actually think the gorilla glue blobs add to the water/wavy effect in a cool way!! a happy accident, as bob ross would say lol 💕

Woah! I’m really surprised that the “mood ring” paint still works with resin on top of it. So cool! Want to try this!
I know right?! I was nervous it wouldn’t work. Thank you!! Go for it! ❤️
Oh me too! Can’t wait to try this!
EvanAndKatelyn do a really cool experiment with the mood ring paint and resin as a toilet seat 😂😂😂 very neat as well! I love this!
owww i love that!!! its like multipule horizons floating in the universe
Wow! That's why i love resin... So shiny with your glitters. You could do one where you paint a secret picture in the design in glow in the dark!
Just watched again, its has a look of the galaxy, northern lights and opal!! REALLY REALLY LOVE IT! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❣
This is just totally gorgeous. You are so gifted.
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen!
That totally needs to be made into a clock! ❤
After all your hard work and determination to get this piece finished it turned out beautiful! It would be cool in a solar system.
