- I take a look at two 2024 Lexus RCFs in today's video. Base price starts at $68,295. One in Infrared the other in Ultra White both include the following package, individual options, & accessories:
Premium Package $6,375
Premium Audio Package $2,725
All Weather Package $130
Orange Metallic Brembo Brakes $300
Power Moonroof $1,100
Triple-Beam LED Headlamps $1,160
Illuminated Door Sills $450
I'll own another RCF someday, but I'm not ready to pay $81K especially with high interest rates and no discounts offered. I'll wait for a used 2022 - 2023 with low miles. Thank you for watching and remember to leave a comment. I appreciate the feedback.

Being an owner of a 2016 RCF CF/TVD (originally retailed for $96K CAD or about $89K USD). I bought it mildly used. Totally worth it especially with the TVD and carbon fiber (at least, to me it has been totally worth it).
Hey bro after several weeks of thinking about it, my past comments aside. I’m really thinking about getting either one of the remaining 2024 allocations available or put myself on the 2025 wait list.
@@orlandojacinto1 Glad to hear that bro. It is definitely a lot of fun. I am sure you will really love getting back into an RCF. Though, your last RCF had TVD, you can now only get LSD even with the carbon package. Not sure if you care much for the TVD. The newer RCFs also lack a few features your 2016 had l,ike memory seats, ambient lighting and the shock tower brace has been removed in the 2023+ RCFs. There are so good changes as well like the 2020+ updates, big screen, the lug nuts are now some stronger type of material that makes them more rigid etc.
@2ZZGE100 Thanks!
I have a 2015 RC F w/the performance pack, TVD and all the good stuff in Infrared. I wanted white until we drove up to Santa Fe New Mexico and test drove a red one. It was dirty and gorgeous at the same time. That red with the carbon fiber top stands up! An awesome ride. Orlando, I purchased mine a few days after you purchased your first RC F. Happy hunting for another one.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your RFC buying experience. My first RFC had all the good stuff as well, including the carbon roof and wing. All make video updates as the next chapter in my next RFC journey unfolds.
still a great car. for every RCFs i have seen, aside of mine, i see a 100 m4s.
I agree. I would go with an RCF over an M4 every time. Reliability, reliability, and reliability.
@@orlandojacinto1 i have owned several bmws and an rc-350 f-sport and now a lexus rcf. i traded in an m4 for my current rcf and am very happy!
That paint is top tier,.
Definitely.💯
It’s not worth 81k. I have a 2015 and it’s barely worth the 47k I paid for it. Damn Covid prices
I paid 57K for a used 2016 with about 650 miles. I’m going to wait a few years before buying a used 2023 at the same price.
Just got back from a Lexus dealer looking at an 2024 RC-F. But taxes and some BS dealer options pushed the OTD price of the car in the low 90s. I asked them if they could remove some of the dealer options (options were not installed, but said it was mandatory for me to buy them) so I didn't pull the trigger. Also, the car was not in the color that I wanted.
Experienced same BS at my local dealership. Dealer add-ons are priced in. Won’t even work with me for custom build configuration with a base RCF that is on the factory floor. I’m going to wait later this year or early next year to try again. There should be a cut in interest rates and I’m saving to put more money down to have a lower monthly payment.
@@orlandojacinto1 I also asked if I could special order and they told me that all allocations for all dealerships are done for this year and that this is the last year of the RC-F. Sounds like BS to me, but I don't think anybody knows right now if they will continue with a 2025 MY. Lexus did make changes to the RC-F for the 2023 MY so I would think they would carry over for at least another year.
@4ft3rburn3r 2025 will probably be the last production run. Lexus is going all in with their V6 twin turbo engine.
Mandatory? Right, BS! Lexus has always been proud of their cars. They are trying to get every dime they can before they roll up production and people are trying to get one. I tried to get a 430 GS and the dealer would not work with me at all. I asked how much would I have to put down for a $500 payment? He said about 15k. Dealerships still suck.
Amazing car would love to get one but not worth 81k compared to the competition
True
Its nice but for 90k....might as well get a used lc500. Whats the point of this
I agree 90K is a bit much. 106K for the track edition doesn’t make sense, I would spend that money on a new LC500. RFC is the last of the true F cars from Lexus.
@@orlandojacinto1 a nice low milage lc is like 70k. With the other 20k just buy a kilo of Colombian and go crazy
🤔 😂 got me thinking about the LC now.
RCF is a performance car while LC500 IS luxury GT. RCF is 400 lbs lighter, smaller, stiffer and has track oriented cooling systems that LC does not. If you were to look at driving exhilaration and performance, RCF runs circles around it, but LC500 is much more luxurious, soft suspension and comfortable
I would take the RCF over the LC any day. Eventually, I’ll another one but right now it’s a sellers market.
The answer to your title is hell no! Maybe half that.
Everyone has an opinion 😂
$40K? have no clue what you are taking about. Comes from someone who shopped around and actually spent the money.
81,000? No.
💯
That's way too much money for this car but it's got excellent reliability & resale value
The reliability is the main reason to buy one more importantly the last of the V8s.
Will be worth 60K next year
More like above 70K seeing used 2023s at that price.
Yes, but the same exact one used at $55k is a steal.
Fair. Eventually I’ll one will become available with a reasonable price tag.
The interior is still the same 😂
No need to change the interior. The controls are easy to use and layout complements overall design of the car.
The interior is not even on your mind when you are out doing the haul azz and listening to the sounds of that motor with a big grin on your face! It's not the fastest but, it is awesome!
@@aerovaportrail1392 Compared to other Lexus models I think it needs an interior update especially for that astronomical price
I’ll get a G80/G83 M3 or M4 for that price lol.
All take RCF over the M3 & 4 simply for the reliability.
Nice car and color. But 81k? No thanks. For 50k, maybe.V8s and V6s are too heavy anyways. Slows down the car and worsens the handling.
I really like the RCF but I won’t pay 81K. The V8 is a great engine reliability is second to none.
@@orlandojacinto1 I think al the engines are reliable. plus if the 4cyl goes kaput, you can put in a new one for cheap.
