The best part is Yoda's response to "Darth Vader will become more powerful than either of us." He says, "Faith in your new apprentice misplaced may be, as is your faith in the dark side of the force." With that Yoda foretells everything that will happen. The emperor said himself how powerful Vader was.
But Anakin had the potential to become the most powerful force user in the galaxy... if he wouldn't be so blinded by his emotions. (dark side)

That line actually says a lot about Sidious. He cares more about the Sith and the preservation of the Dark Side than his own life. It's just a futile existence and it's proof that he cares more about his anger and hate surviving than he himself surviving. But such is the self destructive nature of the Dark Side, it consumes your body and your soul.

Such a fucking good scene. For all the prequels faults, ROTS is the film I remember most vividly growing up (I was 7) and in my head it rightfully deserves its place alongside the original trilogy. I hope George Lucas knows how many fans actually love this film, not only is it my favourite Star Wars film but one of my all time favourite films. So many memorable quotes and scenes to remember.

Darth Sidious was right though, Master Yoda never once immersed himself into all aspects of the Force except for when Count Dooku convinced Yoda to briefly let the dark side of the Force take hold of mind and senses (It was horrifying though, even Dooku shuddered at the thought of someone as powerful and as wise as Yoda becoming a Sith, Dooku actually feared for the entire universe when he saw that shit happen).

Aidan McHutchison, first hes not 900 years old at this point in time although almost. Second the older SOME Jedi become and more in tune with the Force, the more powerful they become. Jedi or Sith it becomes difficult for their bodies to weild as much of the Force as they learn to. With Yoda, he saves himself more often than not and because he is old, hence the cain. But when he is fighting he uses much of the Force for everything including his movement. Many people have a problem with Yoda being able to fight but read the books and find out more about the Force for both the Jedi and the Sith and everything inbetween to find out how far the rabbit hole goes. Extremely difficult to portray in a movie.

Both are too arrogant to follow up their surprise strikes with a barrage of deadly attacks and are looking to humiliate the other. That’s what has always bothered me about this scene. Especially for Yoda that’s a bit out of character.

In the pre-Disney lore of Star Wars, there's such a thing as "Force-based physical augmentation".
It's what allows them to jump high and what allows Vader to live for a certain amount of time even with his suit severely damaged.
Of course, using the ability for long takes it's toll on the user and thus why Yoda doesn't use it too often.
When he fights he's always using the force to move, so then he is incredibly fast (like sonic)! But if he isn't using the force he is just a 900 year old little green creature, who needs a walking stick. If you look at Darth Sidious in Episode 6 you will see him using a walking stick as well.... (same principle)

Mace Windu should of turned to the Dark side
He couldnt because he used vaapad. Vaapad basically let's a jedi harness there inner darkness without drawing on the darkside. It's why windu was able to go toe to toe with sidious as vaapad turns your opponents darkness against them. So the stronger someone is in the darkside the more of there own power mace could use against them.
