    My Awl
    I can’t live without my sharp stabby tool as I call it, used for making holes for my snaps. Many Kam snap kits come with one if not any leather awl will do the job.
    From Amazon -
    Large Squizzors - These are listed as aquarium precision pinch action scissors on Amazon.
    From Craftelier
    Small squizzors - tinyurl.com/sm...
    Stabilizers
    Stabilizers the three that I use for my stitch outs are Brothread wash away, Brothread cut away and Brothread invisible mesh.
    I don't use tear away except for planning out my fabrics in a crazy patch project, as it tends to fail when there is satin stitching in the design.

    Pinning - Always so difficult for me to do. I can't seem to pop it back up to secure. Agh. Love your videos!!!

    • @KaysCutz

      It is practice although I understand if you have arthritic fingers it is harder but well worth doing as the results are very evident in the quality of your stitch out. A magnetic hoop is a good alternative and they hold really well without the need to pin, the downside is the cost as they are not cheap. That said I dont regret buying mine and it is so quick and easy to hoop,

      I use a good magnetic hoop that came with my se2000. I love it!

    Can you use some other than wash away stabilizer. It leaves fabric sticky or am I doing something wrong

    • @sarahgermick9634
      @sarahgermick9634 7 месяцев назад +1

      the sticky is to help keep it stabilized but if you wash it very thoroughly you can wash it all away.

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  Год назад +2

      Thanks Carole. I got my brush in my local Action. You can get them in most DIY and hardware stores, it is a cutting in brushed often called a dog stick.

    What size is this. I cannot find finished sizes in pdf

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  Год назад

      Hi Mary can you ask on KK group or contact Heather for the finished sizes as I haven't stitched them all out so I can't say but I know 100's have been stitched out now so someone will be able to tell you. Mine is 8" in diameter and 2" high and I believe the others are about the same if not just slightly bigger and it is the number of hoopings that go down the larger the hoop you use. I hope this helps.

    It your scissors are to large to cut a slit in fabric, use a seam ripper.

    What size is this finished

    • @KaysCutz
      @KaysCutz  Год назад +1

      It depends on which hoop size you stitch out Mary but the 5x7 bowl is 8" in diameter at the top by about 2"high. I hope this helps. Happy stitching.
