Isn't it better to use the bottom segments for the equals sign? Your using middle segments, which are adjacent, makes it look much like just a thick minus.
5×7 matrix uses 35 segments and on the video hes using 28 segments, he could add 4 more segments or cuts on segment and it would still be 32 segments(2^5)
@@wiktornene7726no, you have 3 5x5 matrix displays side-by-side. you just displayed 100 on them. even if you could possibly count each pixel as its own segment, it clearly does not total 100 unless you have a completely blank extra display. the closest you may have gotten is a 10x10 matrix, but that's a stretch to say the least

This is backwards compatible with a 16 segment display.
At this point just use a 5x7 Matrix
