Would have loved to hear just Teena do this - she has such a great voice- and more than 1 minute and 20 seconds of this song. Much as I love Teena (and her excellent versions of "Ooo Baby Baby", "the Tracks of My Tears", and her cover of Curtis Mayfield's "Give Me Your Love"), no one comes close to the passion and soul that Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis gave this song in the movie "Duets" (which you can also find on RUclips). Give all those songs a listen.

I think that it is in poor taste and disrespectful that if smokey took the mike and joined in with other stars who were performing a song as a salute to him that he would not stand. He has to be in his 60's here and should know better!!! If he were going to remain sitting then he should not have taken the mike and joined it....
