I don't think it's as easy in frame as you say. My pump just went and I'd like to get it done quick and easy like you just did, but there's plenty of other stuff in the way.
Aside from that, you did a great job showing and explaining on this vid.

I have yet to Crack the block drain with out an extremely difficult time. These never seem to get opened. Personally I use a plastic concrete mixing tub. Place it under water pump remove all but 2 bolts. Back out a bit Crack it loose and let it drain. Beats having an issue with block drain at 2am on the side of the road.
