  • Hey guys, this is the follow-up video to my Superfit Treadmill 3 months. Since then I have gotten a lot of questions such as my treadmill does not power on, I cover that, how to clean and replace parts. How to clean and replace the motor. What does it look like inside? How to clean the back tray and more. My channel is all about helping you do stuff and things. These are answers to some of the questions that you asked before

    UPDATE: This solution is for the issue of the conveyor belt being stuck with code error E05. The treadmill turns on, the fuze is good, the motor is trying to go but the belt is not moving and producing a burning smell.
    In my case, the issue was the motor out of alignment and it could not spin the little side belt that’s connected to the main conveyor belt. When you take the top cover off, you can see if the motor is aligned parallel to the nearby components. If not, there are 2 bolts behind and under the motor that you can adjust it with and release any tension. Just make sure the bolts are tight again once you align the motor.
    My treadmill started spinning again once I aligned the motor. It did sound different than before though, perhaps some damage was already done when it got stuck, but so far the treadmill been running without any other issues. Good luck.

    Best video for this treadmill I’ve seen! Unfortunately seeing some issues with mine after about a year. Motor sounds like it’s clicking and vibrating a bit when under use. I don’t hear it when I move the belt by hand. Walking belt it lubricated. Tightening motor belt helps but the problem persists. Replacement motors aren’t in stock but even if they were it feels weird to replace the motor after just a year.

      @@Rudyworld what kind of cleaning? I tried loosening the walking belt until it slips then just going slightly tighter. I tried different motor belt tightnesses but couldn't find one that reduced the noise/vibration. I took apart the motor and cleaned it, but didn't see anything visibly off, the bearings seemed totally smooth for example. I was out of my element so I just bought a whole new one 🤷. My original one was $500 (COVID pricing) but the new one is $200 so at least it wasn't crazy expensive. I'll take better care of this one and hopefully it lasts at least a couple years. The more roboust treadmills are over $1k so I'm OK with replacing the cheap ones every few years if necessary.

      Does it make that sound with the front cover off? Always only make adjustments that you are comfortable doing safely. It could be the black wheel there hitting something. If the belt had issues it would be more of a rubbing sound.

      yes, I can't see what he is doing... one youtube with a superfit, the guy just lifts the motor cover off, on my machine, that part is separate piece but it does not lift off. everything I have tried so far, adjust belt tension, adjust motor and pulley, does not stop the squealing noise and some adjustments, made operation worse. Adjusting the pulley tension slightly did not stop but reduced the slipping but, it made more motor noise so I reduced the adjustment. NO way to talk to superfit, will not be my choice for a replacement and a pity, it was a nice small size...

    Hey! So I’ve taken a look at two of your videos. Wish I watched them before I messed with the darn thing lol. So My belt is slipping. I’ve lubed it. But the issue I’m running into is I tightened the two bolts at the front of the treadmill. At the motor. I didn’t pay attention, I just cranked them all the way to the right. How do I fix this lol? Thanks!!

    • @Rudyworld
      @Rudyworld  Год назад

      As long as you didn't damage the big belt, try to return them where they were. I am not sure what bolts you tightened. The belt should be tight so it does not slip but not too tight where it snaps. Inside is also another belt that connects the motor to the axel that has the big belt you are standing on. If you can tell me more as to which bolts you tightened then maybe I can help further.

    • @man8dude

      @@Rudyworld hey! Thanks for getting back to me! So I didn’t tighten the back two at all(the ones on the back left and the back right). At the front of the treadmill there’s two bolts under the display. The instructions said it was for the belt tightness and the motor leveling?The instructions are in broken English so it wasn’t very helpful. If you’re facing the two bolts I’ve tightened. The one on right(closest to the edge of the treadmill) gets really tight/ hard to turn(this one was said to be used to tighten the belt. The other feels loose (instructions said it was for the motor level?). The treadmill skips when you step on it. Since then I’ve adjusted the back two bolts. The instructions say to adjust them inwards to change the belt one way, and outwards to change it another. It seems like the belt is straight. But it’s skipping. Very weird. Thank you for any help if this cleared it up more!

    • @Rudyworld
      @Rudyworld  Год назад

      Check to see if the battery is new. try moving the remove around the front of the unit. One of the design faults that I don't like is that you have to have that remote to work. It could have gotten damaged since you said it will turn it off and on.

    Question! If the belt is misaligning on the front end and not the back end, would that be the same process as adjusting it in the back?

    • @Rudyworld
      @Rudyworld  Год назад

      Yes, because a part of the alignment is to loosen the belt. When you do, you can adjust it by moving the front part of the belt, the part by the front roller to center it. After that, is the harder part, to make sure that you tighten the back screws evenly. This is then tested by running the belt at low speeds to make sure it stays in the center. I always make time for this since this can take some time. But, can be done:)

      @Rudyworld  День назад

      @@chelseacmarshall the bolts need to be loosened and turned evenly. If it is drifting left then turn the right side if it is drifting right do left. It takes time. I usually prop it up and test stop readjust test again. The drifting g is caused by uneven sides.

    • @Rudyworld
      @Rudyworld  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for watching, I am so sorry to hear that. With the treadmill unplugged and if you feel comfortable to do so, check the fuse. It is supposed to blow before the motor. I can't recall the rating but it is a fuse similar to a car fuse. In the 4:51 minute market in the video , you can see the blue fuse located next to the capacitor with the orange sticker. That black piece does hold a charge but the blue fuse next to it should come out. if the wire inside appears to be broken, then that is the fix. you may also want to see what caused the issue, if it was pushing the motor too hard, was the machine lubricated. If that is not it, it could be the motor like you said. I would contact the manufacturer for service and or replacement parts. I hope that helps. If you have more questions I will be happy to try to answer them.
