Trying to Fix - Foldable Treadmill (FIx It)

Got a free 2 in 1 foldable treadmill (walking/running) meant for home office setups, free from Craigslist listed not working. Something wrong with the remote, and the remote is the only way to control this device. Let's see if I can fix it!

Omg thank you sooooo much for making this video. I have the same one and it just stopped working one day for no reason. I don’t remember dropping the remote or anything. I’ve been trying to fix it for a while. RUclips was my last step before throwing it way. Now it work perfectly ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you

what was the problem in yours? Mine had some rust around the connectors to the batteries. I had to ditch one of the covers of the remote and put some plastic, otherwise the buttons don't work. I'll have to be very tender with it.

My remote is broken. I can't find the same remote on the internet. Do you know if remote controls on other models from the same manufacture will work?

Next project is to interface it with the pc so you can use it to play GeoGuessr. A pi4 and a few shields for IO etc should do it. 😀

Well done. I suspect the battery holder is installed in reverse. The smaller prongs should be on the positive side.

I think that also might be the case as the one side does have much shorter "prongs". But, if it works, it works!
