I think if after all the press and TV ads and other things we see daily, (including free medical help), if a smoker doesn't KNOW it can be very deadly and harmful to so many organs and health issues, then they are not going to get the message or simply have a death wish.

Exactly. My grandma survived lung cancer twice, and ended up passing from this (she was 59, not sure if that’s young for this). But it’s heartbreaking to see someone go through this. She even quit at 45 but it still caught up. Smoking just isn’t worth it.

Ok I have a question??? Ok10 yrs ago my husband was diagnosed with mild copd. Well five days ago he started out with the sniffles and sneezing which wasn’t to terrible. Then the cough started out of nowhere. Sounds like a cough with bad drainage. So he went to the doctor and ordered him a inhaler. Says it could be his COPD!! I’m so confused because after a week he still has nasal congestion and the cough . Can allergies trigger problems for copd?????

When I cough, I hear a lot of congestion. I do not have shortness of breath. I do about 1600 steps, four days a week; sometime five. I do eat fruit and vegetables. I also drink ACV, Lemon juice and Turmeric in boiled water.
Nothing completely shifts the mucous, which changes colour from yellow to grey. I do not eat processed food.
So my question is why won’t it go away?
