@@WolfgangDoW Or linear if you pay attention to the timeline instead of when something happened visually... (I know this reply is kinda awful but hey at least I tried to make fun sense...)
Some of the best puzzle games are ones about visual. It's like you see an impossible puzzle and the answer is a little perspective or looking at it from a different angle. Take for example The Witness, Superliminal, and Manifold Garden.
Big facts. Have you ever played antichamber? That's another one of those games where perspective matters. My fave part is how there's always a borderline corny one-liner that perfectly sums up the perspective you had to attain to solve the puzzle.
@@cp2polk I did. It's a good blend of minimal graphics and intense colors. The game almost reminded me of Rez with the whole floating blocks thing. But I can't wait to play Viewfinder though, the gameplay gives it a lot of inception vibes, it will be a very unique visual puzzle game.
@@ArinJager1 NGL, I knew where Chuchel was from the moment I saw its art style, I can't pinpoint it but there's something very characteristic about it xD
when i was in elementary we used to have the game on some of the computers in my class and everyone would try and help out with the puzzle (each computer was at a different stage), it’s such a good game
The "horse maid" is a Hippogryph. It's a mythological creature that the Hippocampus is named after. It is also the same shape as the Eye of Horus. All very on point for this game.
no, hippocampus (in the brain), is named after _hippocampus_ (the "sea horse" mythological creature), because it has similar shape... hippogryphs are from harry potter :D (and from myths, it's half eagle half horse, unlike gryphon, who's half eagle, half lion... and hippocampus is half horse half fish, like mermaid, but horse)
The last campfire is fantastic. Made by the company that made No Man Sky, so the visuals are stunning. The characters in it are super lovable too. As far as complexity though? It's not too strenuous. 2 videos maximum I think. Worth a look
OI! The dragon isn't evil. It was a guiding spirit. The kid has been following the Dragon all his life till he's an old man. And then ascended to heaven becoming part of the dragon!
I’m convinced Matt is reading a guide at the same time he’s playing. This picture puzzles look freakin hard and you are stumbling upon to many answers!
You should give one of Amanita Design's games a try, puzzle games at their finest. I would recommend the Samorost series (most notably Samorost 3), Machinarium, or, if you're looking for your worst nightmares, Happy Game (which for the record is NOT a happy game, you've been warned).
As soon as I saw what was sponsoring I knew it had to involve DS9 which is AFAIK the most Engineer loaded cast of characters in the franchise. The CO started his career as an Engineer, the Engineer requested a transfer from the fleet flagship because he found its good condition didn't give him enough to do so he got bored, the Science Officer was an Engineer in a past life and retained that life's memories, and one of the recurring characters was later revealed to an Engineering savant whose skills saved billions or maybe trillions from death or enslavement,
Love your videos, didnt see part one and i was bit lost what you have to do there. If you would do a little "on sentence recap" whats the Aim or todo would be really appreciated
Trust an engineer to completely not notice that the boy shrunk down to fit through the tiny door and then had to use ladders to grow back to normal size. Also, wow, this game is amazing, the perspective tricks are great.
Great video Matt, but one question. Do you ever think you will play infraspace again, it’s had so many huge updates since you last played and I think me and many others would enjoy watching you play it again. Also I think you should play the last campfire, it looks pretty cool.

Hi RCE have a good Thursday 😊

More timber born episodes
@@blaine99 we can all agree with this
The city looked so war torn in the "wheelchair" stage. I guess what Matt thought way thunder in the first part was more like shelling
I don't see how it looked like thunder in the first place. Pieces of the ceiling were literally fall off when the thing shook.
I think it's funny how you only realised at the end, that all of the people were the same guy just at different times.
Which panzer division are you from? I'm from panzer division 28

I have never seen such an imaginative game. Truly beautiful.
Beautiful game, that meek little "oh, so I did cripple him" was the most British thing I've heard in a while
You should try Machinarium, it's a puzzle game about a robot that got kicked out of it's city, and he tries to get back into it
hell yeah, that would be awesome

@@ArinJager1 Ah yes, my mistake. I confused the two. Thanks for the correction.
I was impressed with the developer in the first installment and that final puzzle was REALLY fun to go through. Thank you for finishing this, Matt!
That was a very well done visual puzzle. Kudos to the Dev.
I don't really like puzzle games but I sure do love watching Matt playing them.
Especially when he doesn't draw efficient shapes...
You playing this game is the most entertaining thing ever! Glad the second episode came out so soon :D
Bought the same package and I am having enormous fun with these games. Thank you so much for introducing me to them.
What's the name of the package? I want to try the other games!

This game reminds me of the art by Shaun Tan, especially his wordless book "The Arrival". Very similar theme of escaping war and finding new happiness

Thanks for all of your videos - they always cheer me up when I am feeling down

I am loving these puzzle game videos! I don't have the patience to play them myself so its great to see the full game!
This physically hurt my brain lmao
Insane art style, i loved every mind-blowing minute of it @_@

Any game can be made more entertaining with Matt's hilarious commentary
The last campfire is the only one of those that I've seen before and I can very much recommend it
Are we not gonna notice how RCE just said "creature of the eye" 0:30
8:26 RCE, you missed the "strongest shape" on the ladle in the top right quadrant.
Played Moncage from that bundle. That one was fantastic. Another good one from a different series is Monument Valley 1 and 2.
I can remember Matt thinking deeply about a 'fruit bowl' from the first part
The Last Campfire looks so adorable, i can't wait to see how you'll abuse it

13:51 RCE, completely oblivious to the nutsack in the tapestry.
For shame, RCE, for shame.
@0:30 "Its the Eye, the Creature of the eye"
I think Matt meant "Eye of the creature" but either ways it gets the point...
I actually cried while playing Goragoa because of how well thought out the game was. It is absolutely beautiful.

Of those options you showed, I would love to see you play The Last Campfire.
Me, too. I saw the cheap price that Matt was given and went to buy it from Steam and the price I was given was far too expensive!
12:10 That's plan view Matt, you should know that.
Holy shit, I just been on a Gorogoa binge, yasssss the perfect timing

right?
Hope the uncut version will be on rce archive
@RealCivilEngineerGaming you should play geostorm, it's a great game, fits what you love to play
Gorogoa is on Sale!
My vote is for Toem! I played it to 100% completion somewhat recently, definitely less mind-bending thank Gorogoa but a wonderful peaceful experience.
Solving Puzzles. The toughest task for architects.
The last campfire is fantastic, save it for last
Another day... another Video to look forward to!! Thanks rce for the Daily content

This game reminds me so much of Framed.
My head hurts! Fascinating stuff.
I wanna know the story of this game now...
I have actually played toem and I will say it now that it is a really good game and it is also very adorable
RCE, you should really play Kingdoms And Castles! I think you would like it because it's much like Timberborn.
Toem is very cute, I recommend that one next, it also just got like a free dlc update
That man was the moth.... This is a awesome game.
That was good
I vote The Last Camp next
go through all pls!!!!
Is there a playlist for this game
Nice bridge
Is that the kind of a plot twist where the antagonist from the future is the protagonist from the past? 🤔
