This happens so often with this channel... I start watching a video, watch for three minutes and then I have to stop because the game looks so good I have to try it for myself and don't want spoilers
I love RCE’s dedication to annoying perfectionists… he’s put down the third save more times than I can count. Also, please play Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
Hey, please stop using the term ocd like that. It’s a serious medical diagnosis and equating it to wanting things to be all neat and tidy is not only factually inaccurate but also harmful. Matt used perfectionist as an alternative in this video, maybe switch to that too. Not trying to start an argument, hope you have a nice day :)
I churned through this game in a single sitting. It's short and mechanically not that involved, but it was beautiful, absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and I think we need more beautiful stories to enjoy. I loved it.
Getting vibes of some classic great games here- Oddworld, Another World, the original Prince of Persia etc. Really well executed and in a beautiful style.
Getting some strong Planet Alpha(also a 2D sidescroller puzzle/platformer game where robots randomly start showing up and wrecking the planet) vibes from this. In a good way, of course.
This game is beautiful, love it. Craving poly bridge though, please finish serenity valley, think of all the Niff-Tea solutions and strong shapes we haven’t yet got to enjoy 😢😂
I'm going to laugh if it turns out the robots were trying to rescue everyone from a pending disaster and Lana becomes the only causality of the disaster due to her evasion.
Hey ! It would be nice to see RCE doing a let's play on these kind of more story focus games. I would surely love to see a walkthrough of this marvelous game with RCE, and he seemed to have actually enjoyed it too!
Day 217:Dear Matt, I have a very good video idea Gather all your editors and make them all have 3 chances to make the cheapest, best and most efficient bridge, or the best score on any motorway game(e.g AQR, that one train game, ect...), or who make the longest and most efficient shapes. And see who is the best editor and is worthy of the rank of a classified engineering. From me.
I can also recommend "FAR: Chaning Tides" VERY much! This is such a beautiful game too! As well as something for big machine lovers like steam trains ;)
How strange… about 3 months ago i saw an ad on youtube for this game (probably because the devs are from sweden and i live in norway, idk something like that.) and I thought that this would be a perfect game for RCE, and now he acctually played it.
If you liked this game you should check out Abe’s Oddysee or the remake Oddworld New & Tasty. It’s a similar platform/puzzler but with a bunch of unique aspects gameplay and humor wise. You can mind control enemies, order other people commands, fart and laugh at it. You know, important gameplay things lmao.
Inter-planetary alien technology, completely incapable of detecting a boy crouched in the grass 2 feet away....lol. For real though, this game does look quite fantastic. This kind of not-realistic, stylized graphics is something I really enjoy.
@RealCivilEngineer - just finished the game - it's absolutely worth sticking to the very end! Just when You thought You've seen everything a new twist happens ! Hope You will stream it all
My bf and i got this game after seeing RCE's video, now we surpassed the end of the video and are adding our own RCE voice over to it. Can't wait to find out what his actual remarks on the further chapters would be 😂
I wasn't really paying attention and just kind of watching in the background... I was dumbfounded when the intro ended. Literally said "holy shit, that was just the intro!" LOL
I saw this game on an ad a few months ago, man that looks awesome. I'd love it if you could do videos on them, I haven't got much time to watch full streams right now :|
I have a feeling they're going to do a system similar to the game Somnerville where the flashing colors at 19:03 is their form of language and understanding/being able to speak that language could be the key to getting a true ending
Play this game to the end, I mean who can resist the pig-cat-monkey-dog-paddy that makes this game soooooooo interesting. Also, yeah it's looks nice, reminds me of almost Zelda graphics so very well made I must say.
i saw the early access advertisement for this game but i didnt think it was for me (due to difficulty ive already experienced in similiar games, mainly Ori)
Enjoying your channel. Trying to get into city builders but find alot of them are simply 'follow this recipe' and there arent really many other ways of playing them. Which games would you say allow for the most range for invention and ingenuity on behalf of the player, in order to solve problems? Thanks
This game is so gorgeous! Fluid and dynamic animation, layers, details. Wow.
Right?!? Can't believe RCE didn't mention how gorgeous it was
He did say the graphics are insane. Since the graphics aren't that impressive I think he probably meant the games art style is very good
@@photoo848 yeah, I'm super surprised that he never ever in this entire video mentioned the quality, never ever in the whole video.
If you liked this game, then definitely try Ori and the blind forest

@@mareikenienhaus4519 I agree, and will revise and edit the comment accordingly. You have a nice day too, my friend.
@@mareikenienhaus4519OCD? He doesn't even mention that I'm the comment dumbie.
TABS is meh
@@xxrighttwixx1253 Why?
I loved how the companion got progressively longer species name. Now it’s a pig cat dog monkey.
A Picadokey!
I reckon Lana is going to reclaim the planet with the power of bridges
I love to say Lana backwards!
@@justaguy42069 I... Well damn... same.
It wasnt about the planet, after all, but about the bridges we made along the way. 😊
I churned through this game in a single sitting. It's short and mechanically not that involved, but it was beautiful, absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and I think we need more beautiful stories to enjoy. I loved it.
Can we appreciate how he almost always makes an upside down T in the games because he’s name is Matt which ends with T.
I absolutely LOVE the art style of this game, everything looks painted and it's so cool!
This is one of the nicest and coolest games I've seen you play! I would love to see more! By the way, the cat piggie paddy creature is really cute
Absolutely beautiful art style. Props to the team!!
I played the Demo for this back in February and completely forgot it was coming out so soon! Excited to see more of it
Getting vibes of some classic great games here- Oddworld, Another World, the original Prince of Persia etc. Really well executed and in a beautiful style.
I just played it, gameplay was pretty close to Limbo, but with the art and music of Ori and the Blind Forest
Always the right level of British in your videos “bugger off into the cave”, “see you later knob head”, love it, keep up the god work!
your planet to yourself reminded me of a nice space folk song about that exact thing, "Thoughts of a Homeless Alien - Julia Ecklar"
Letting the players not only have a pet but also be able to pet it as much as they want is a guaranteed way to make a game at least 50% better.
:50 The Millet Hairstyle is the peak of hairstyles and has maximum swoon efficiency.
It is a really pretty game, the retro vibe is really amazing.
Very Prince of Persia/Flashback/Out of this World/Abe's Oddysee vibes I love it
Getting some strong Planet Alpha(also a 2D sidescroller puzzle/platformer game where robots randomly start showing up and wrecking the planet) vibes from this.
In a good way, of course.
Bridge made from concrete: 0.5/10 Bridge held together with ducktape: 8/10
This game is beautiful, love it. Craving poly bridge though, please finish serenity valley, think of all the Niff-Tea solutions and strong shapes we haven’t yet got to enjoy 😢😂
I'm going to laugh if it turns out the robots were trying to rescue everyone from a pending disaster and Lana becomes the only causality of the disaster due to her evasion.
LOL. That actually would be an amazing and unexpecting end for some game in this style. Seriously, it needs to be done.
13:31 This is so *Matt* and *Paddy* 😍
7:56. had the same reaction with your editor.. 🤣🤣
13:40
Takes me back to saying"Follow Me" and then gets all my new friends slaughtered by Glokkons to make SoulStorm Brew. 😂
Art direction is more important than flashy fancy graphics. And this game is a showcase for that.
I want to see rce complete this game fully! Also I love the new hand animations for the rce character!
Almost sure the color combination of the giant machine in the end is something you gotta remember for an easter egg or something
Looks like "Another world" this is a compliment
This game is absolutely beautiful. And I love your puzzle solving 'prowess'. Please continue it.
Hey ! It would be nice to see RCE doing a let's play on these kind of more story focus games. I would surely love to see a walkthrough of this marvelous game with RCE, and he seemed to have actually enjoyed it too!
my eyes has never seen something more beautiful, but maybe "Another world" )
The blinking lights at the end of the video could be a reference to Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Watching this gives me wibes from the old school game "Another World"
Day 217:Dear Matt,
I have a very good video idea

Day 2 of ageeing
U are fifth!
I can also recommend "FAR: Chaning Tides" VERY much! This is such a beautiful game too! As well as something for big machine lovers like steam trains ;)
If you like this, you would like Inside. It's an old game but the genre is very similar to this, except it's dark visually and story wise
Oh I love Lana. Lana is the best. Glad to see that RCE enjoys a bit of Lana as well.
;) hehe
IFKYK
reminds me of sonic how the levels have multiple layers, and each layer is its own path. (with sonic, speed is usually best on the highest path)
Big FAR: Lone Sails/Changing Tides vibe. Definitely gonna pick this up when it's released.
You better keep playing this one! I would like to see how it ends.
These are called atmospheric games because of their ambience. Another side-scrolling one is FAR: Lone Sail.
How strange… about 3 months ago i saw an ad on youtube for this game (probably because the devs are from sweden and i live in norway, idk something like that.) and I thought that this would be a perfect game for RCE, and now he acctually played it.
6:29 that rock looks very strong 💪
Please continue this one! It is so beautiful. 💚

Beautiful game indeed. If you've never played INSIDE, it's an absolute masterpiece.
Inside epic game 👍
The grapics are truly fabulous, agree on that with RCE! Amazing game (not only by the looks of it), can't wait for you to play it on Twitch!
Its inside/limbo but less dark, I like^^
Inter-planetary alien technology, completely incapable of detecting a boy crouched in the grass 2 feet away....lol.
For real though, this game does look quite fantastic. This kind of not-realistic, stylized graphics is something I really enjoy.
Big things looks like a Reaper from Mass Effect
@RealCivilEngineer - just finished the game - it's absolutely worth sticking to the very end! Just when You thought You've seen everything a new twist happens ! Hope You will stream it all
Looks gorgeous, has bridges, has a paddy-pet, seems very promising!!
12:00 It's a Punky!
Has RCE played Inside? That is a great, if a bit odd, sideways scrolling puzzler
The placement of that ad... 10/10
Please Matt! You need to continue this game as a series! I think it would be one of the greatest series you 'd have done!
My bf and i got this game after seeing RCE's video, now we surpassed the end of the video and are adding our own RCE voice over to it. Can't wait to find out what his actual remarks on the further chapters would be 😂
Beautiful game and great story building.
I wasn't really paying attention and just kind of watching in the background... I was dumbfounded when the intro ended. Literally said "holy shit, that was just the intro!" LOL
I'd love to see more of this game! It's beautiful and I'm intrigued by the story!
Before watching the video I thought Matt had named his planet Lana, because reading that backwards is exactly the kind of joke he’d make
the little cat monkey pig dog is so cute
I want a 20 minute video of matt petting the monkey pig cat thing
I imagine the planet of Lana is a very young planet, It looks so square and straight like it didn't have much time to erode.
The pig monkey cat, a wholesome cousin of man bear pig.
8:54 reminds me of a certain youtube bridge building engineer but i cant be certain..
9:00 yep, 100%
Matt: I'm super pleased 80's stuff is come back, like the mullet
Me: Australia 🇦🇺
i LOVE planet of lana, i cant wait untill the full realease
Portal 1 and 2 are the best puzzle games on steam for sure 😆
Beautiful game indeed, breath taking background, curious on how it will progress
Woah its that one game where you do that one thing
I love this game!! I don't know it! Please make more! :D
19:05 an RGB mega ball 🤣
A cat monkey ?
It shall be named Moncat !
I saw this game on an ad a few months ago, man that looks awesome. I'd love it if you could do videos on them, I haven't got much time to watch full streams right now :|
RCE: purposefully breaks a bridge
Also RCE: -1
The Witness is one of my favorite puzzle games
19:02 karamel dancen intensifies
I have a feeling they're going to do a system similar to the game Somnerville where the flashing colors at 19:03 is their form of language and understanding/being able to speak that language could be the key to getting a true ending
Aww i love the PigCatMonkey
Play this game to the end, I mean who can resist the pig-cat-monkey-dog-paddy that makes this game soooooooo interesting. Also, yeah it's looks nice, reminds me of almost Zelda graphics so very well made I must say.
Would love yo see this as a series on the channel look forward to seeing RCE videos pop up and this one has my attention!
11:00 that bridge has higher score than Hydroneer bridge
2:45 bro the first thing I thought of was odsts
Reminds me of "another world"! Such a great game on the amiga
Call for Cmdr Shepard, reapers are invading!
If you like this game you should play stray it's the same style of game except you're a cat in a robot world lol. Would love to see you play that.
Whoa, this is an amazing game. Def need more!
1973: Parallax scrolling invented
2023: RCE utterly agog at the use of parallax scrolling.
0:23 you son of an architect
i saw the early access advertisement for this game but i didnt think it was for me
(due to difficulty ive already experienced in similiar games, mainly Ori)
I don't know why I thought this would be a building game with objectives like Poly Bridge
Holy fish sticks the art on this one!! Well done devs. It is a very pretty game.
Are the evil robots trying to save everyone from planetary destruction? WTF are the aliens here doing? We need that.
Yes Yes....The beautiful black darkness.....Lovely...
RCE actually said "phallic" - what is the world coming to?
A point/strongest shape?
It looks like a colourful Limbo.
Enjoying your channel. Trying to get into city builders but find alot of them are simply 'follow this recipe' and there arent really many other ways of playing them.
