I pray for boldness. I recently denounced this year and sent my letter to corporate. Allow me Jesus to walk in boldness and bring this subject up at my church. We are often indirect and general about how we should live as Christians and followers of Jesus. He is Lord over our lives.
Praise God!!! My spirit is so disturbed because I grew up in a church filtrated with these orgs. It was always presented as educational excellence... I never pledged but I wanted to and I know so many christians in them. Never in any church have I heard the truth I learned of it on RUclips. It's really sad to me. 😢😢😢

Greek groups look enticing to people because so many of us grew up seeing or at least hearing about role models who are in these groups. Some college students attended churches as children where the pastor and other clergy proudly proclaim to be in this Greek group or that Greek group. Becase they (the clergy) see nothing wrong with belonging to these groups, this leads young people to also see nothing wrong with joining these groups.

This is why outsiders sound silly. You said God is the only Alpha and Omega" it's like saying "God is the only A and Z" they're simply letters that stands for something. So like someone wearing a shirt that has CK on it, it's for Calvin Klein " but another shirt saying CK could mean Country Kit" There just letters have are initials.

This entire topic is religious nonsense. He said to have no other Gods before me. Indicative that there will be things in life that we do that may be not for others. But As long as it's not before Him it's simply a choice. Like Eating Meat. Some say your going to hell for eating meat now. Only eat plants. And what if fraternity members join a fraternity and commit to serving mankind. Like Dr King and Others. Should they now Renounce God. I mean to be a good fraternity member you have to completely renounce God because no fraternity or sorority member should believe in Christ at all because they have chosen their God when they pledged. So just renounce God and serve your community and mankind the best way you can. See how ignorant that sounds! Once you accept Christ into your heart the bible says that you are sealed until the day of redemption period. Yes i am in a fraternity and yes I've been baptized and follow Jesus. Didn't agree with everything in the frat and dont agree with everything in the church but thank God I'm free. He whom the son sets free is free indeed. Yall better know God for yourself because religious preachers will never tell you you saved God will have to tell you that.

Is Christ really seen as being this weak? There are rituals in every organization you join from the boy scouts to the military, are these also to be not joined?
To my knowledge I don't think there is a deity behind boy scouts...or secrecy...or pledging a til death commitment
To their point, all military ceremonies are accessible publicly. As stated, no secrecy, no gods, no mythology, no allowed hazing, no special chants performed at weddings and funerals, no pledging “all of my love, peace & happiness” belong to (fill in the blank) fraternity/sorority. It’s not the same.
I belong to a professional organization. There were no rituals one did to join, and there are no rituals that members do. Membership requirements relate to degrees earned and licensure. There is no hazing involved, there are no pagan gods on the website, and there is no twisting of scripture and exaltation of the organization. It's something meant to help us network and to learn about new developments in the field.
Its was found with those of the Catholic Church that is why most protestant church have their own organization similar to the scouts@@Cam4Jess
