- Going midweek definitely has its bonuses. This trip to Carowinds was a blast! Going to Carolina Harbor and Carowinds was relaxing since there wasn't as many people. The lines for all of the rides were VERY short and attitudes were positive. If you can make it out to Charlotte, NC for Carowinds during the middle of the week, you're going to have a great time!

I was there on Wednesday it was so calm
I head over to Carowinds 2-3 times per week on weekdays. There always seems to be the perfect combination of enough people to not make it feel dead, but not crowded at all. LOVE IT! Very relaxing and such a great atmosphere. Also, thanks for showing the menu. So many fail to show them. I tried the sonker the other day. The portion was great, it had a good taste, but there wasn't enough of a balance of the crust and filling. It made it too sweet for me........and I love sweets. It was good, but I probably won't get it again. Great video, thanks for posting.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm not a sweets guy but I love that sonker because it never tastes too sweet to me. The food changes a lot depending on who makes it though so maybe it was just a different day for you 🤷🏼♂️. Glad you like Carowinds! It's such an underrated park IMO.

Can you bring backpacks or bags to put change clothes in for the water park ? And how do you get a chair with umbrella?
My wife brings a sling bag during normal hours with no problem. They usually only worry about bags during special events.
As for umbrellas, you can use a VIP area if you're a prestige member, rent a cabana, or get there early to grab one of the chairs with an umbrella.
