    I started a month ago to crochet a granny square blanket following your tutorial. I'm not done but I'm already halfway there and I'm loving it. Thank you for your tutorials and videos. It's so easy to follow and to understand what we are making. I had watched other tutorials before but they didn't make me feel confident I could do it. But with yours... It's perfect. I followed it twice while crocheting at the same time than the video and then took some notes and I'm going strong since then! 50 granny squares later! I actually increase the border of the granny squares following another video of yours, again so easy to follow and to adapt. Thank you for your work and sharing your passion!

    This is the perfect tutorial, I mean it! The best crochet tutorial I think I've seen to date. You move at the perfect speed. No long boring intro, no pausing for weird tangents and asides, and you explain clearly. I keep coming back to this video to start other projects in the round because you teach the magic ring better than anyone else I've ever seen. It isn't quite cemented into my memory yet, but you make it quick and easy! As for my first ever sunflower granny square... well, I didn't account for the difference in size between my hook/yarn and yours, so I wound up wth more of a granny star... but it looks so good that I don't care! Now I want to figure out how to recreate my mistake on a larger scale to make a bag!

    • @sarahnkitchenwatkins
      @sarahnkitchenwatkins 29 дней назад

      @@CamilaGiudice Hi, I just bought a few skeins at a time in case I decided to scrap the project. I did finish it in the end though, in total I made 120 squares using 7 x 100g skeins of dark green, 1 skein of brown, 2 of yellow and 2 white. (DK using 4mm hook)
      I've made another blanket since and a hexi cardigan, I bulk bought 10 skeins at a time for them, but only used 7 for the cardigan but 13 for the other blanket so had to buy more. It's honestly still a mystery trying to guess what to buy for each project 😅
      Good luck with your blanket, this was a fantastic 1st project, gave me oodles of confidence to venture onto other designs ☺️ Be prepared to be surrounded by yarn at all times 😅
