    @fiddlyoleben It sounds to me, a standard 12-bar blues improv. You may use this lick (or parts of it)
    on any 12-bar blues arrangement. I've always enjoyed Ronnie's pickin' It definately leans towards Bill Monroe's with lots of down strokes. It's a style, I am attempting to master. I always attend Ronnie's workshops at the festivals.

    Ronnie - beautiful tone you and your Dad playing. Do you do tabs for this song? I've learned on my own from ordering Bill Monroe books and CD's and watching free lessons on internet. I've been playing little over a year now. I would love to learn that tone - but you are going a little to fast for me. Love your style of picking!
