- So here it is....Phoenix77 and team have done the impossible and improved on what was already an outstanding accomplishment with LAC 0.8 and taken it to version 1.0.
Along with numerous updates to the visual on areas that you already know, there are many new areas to travel to, it needs to be driven to be believed, as it is an experience unto itself.
Phoenix - Thank You for giving me early access, I wasn’t able to get a video out before it went live, but hopefully the video shows some parts of the map that may not have been seen by others yet.

My man - thank you for your words, always appreciated, particularly from a content creator that I love to watch. On the topic of your content....I am loving it...it’s like you take a leap with each video. I find myself looking forward to SimRacing videos more than IRL car journo’s, such is the quality level. Will catch you in your comments, thank you for those videos, I had to reference them as they were both entertaining and informing for me, so no doubt would be for others.
Camera work is just fantastic and narration takes it to another level. Felt like watching a documentary. I enjoyed every minute.

The run up to the mountaintop towers is much like that as well. I took a '93 Porsche 964 3.8 RS up that stretch, grinning the whole way. I have driven a WIDE assortment of cars around the LA Canyons, but much as I love American muscle I always seem to end up in a 911 of some sort. From a '74 RSR to a GT2 RS and everything in between.

Shaders Patch, which you need to use Content Manager for.
GregzVR Hey Greg. Traffic takes this map to a whole new level in my opinion. I have seen a few uploads of yours that I want to watch later on today...hopefully you got a chance to run the Ferrari in Traffic. Neil is absolutely right, shaders patch and Content Manager are where you get the option. I will have a look later for the specific setting, it all adds to the immersion. Feels really odd seeing videos that don’t have them now. You actually can see the drivers face as well when you lean over and look in the mirror. Content Manager | Shaders Patch | WeatherFX | SOL | LA Canyons....basically a whole new title!!!

The 1.0 update of LAC is absolutely worth blowing the dust off AC for. That with shaders patch and SOL...its like a whole new place....everything feels new. It feels like Assetto 2.0 now....and these incredible guys are still coming up with new stuff for it. Great times to be into this. Thanks for the comment Magic - Always appreciated.

This reminds me to Maikita Roads track mod from Rfactor.
VR, SOL, Weather and this... omg im playing one a day since ive got it.
RFactor has some amazing mods - was hard to imagine something else giving quite as many options, but the last year of Assetto Corsa has been unreal. I realised that most of the time I don’t drive any Kunos content anymore - just mod cars and mod tracks, with mod weather and VR....just awesome!! Also, thank you for commenting.
Another simply awesome video feature, Dre -- and isn't it just amazing that this MOD track (but saying MOD almost seems like an insult to it ; ), is so life-life & accurate -- that BEFORE you even made that right-hand turn to go up the hill, in a few secs into the video, I already knew where you were on the track...………………………………………. STAGGERING!!!
P.S. Do you mind if I ask you if you exclusively used Stereo Joycam for all your flying Drone shots - you did you at any point use an APP I haven't tried/tested yet... a thing called CamTool 2?
Thank you Michael - As ever, I always appreciate your comments (and look forward to them). You are so right, it does feel like an insult to call it a mod, as it feels so much bigger than that. I find myself doing the same watching the other Canyon videos, following along thinking, "yep, I know where we are, take a right here.....oh you missed out, you should have gone down there"...lol...brilliant.
I dabbled with CamTool 2, but found I was better off just getting to know Joycam a bit better. It can be a tricky little so and so, but when it works, it just works. But yes, at the moment, Stereo Joycam is the one. Loved the shots you have been getting in your recent videos - heli cam - looks great. RigRacer always gets nice cam cut away shots, and Humble has had some great Heli shots recently too.
Thanks for the JoyCam Info Dre - as I feel a lot better that all your shots were done that way, as it is definitely a creative little beast - with our minds the only limitation it seems. I look forward to any more Canyons Video's you might chose to do as well. And I'll have a couple of my own coming soon too, but just trying to figure out how to do them in a slightly different way to the others already presented (I have a few idea's ; )

Great video as always. I agree its stunning work. Would you have any idea why when I try the canyon with traffic it never actually has other vehicles on it?
Thank you 7below1, so, to sort out traffic, I run a full weekend and set the practice to 90mins. Select your AI cars (probably only want to use cars that have good LODS or it will crush your system) and then go driving in the main loop. Should work for you.

Will this game ever be able to handle a scaled down or even full size city, like LA? Or has it already achieved that?
Tear You know, I think this is that being achieved, the scale is vast. The shuto expressway project is pretty big as well, feels like rolling around Tokyo, but it doesn’t feel as vast as this....this feels like a massive play box.

I havent been to the Nords since the GT2 RS vs Huracan Performante video.....and I cant see me venturing there for a least a few weeks lol....this place is so big. RigRacer just made a 26min exploration video thats quite an eye opener...
