Jesus light shines like diamonds, and the darkness always flees!
I came back to this song after about 4 years today. I've had a dramatic music change. From listening to Newsboys and Tobymac, to listening to Like a Storm and Pop Evil. And... for some reason, I had some neat stuck in my head. So I walked backwards in my music journey, quite literally, and I ended up seeing this song. I played it after 4 years and it had been so long that I forgot it took 10 seconds before the song began, so i had to make sure it was playing. And as soon as the music stopped, I froze. This chill came over me, and I set my phone down to listen to it. There was a sense of... purity, to it. It's one thing to listen to a Christian artist, but when two come together... it shines. Chris and Trevor, if you see this, you two are such a blessed duo, and I thank you both for another footstep back to the God I fell from! Both of you have been a big part of my musical life and inspiration! I hope some day I'll be like you, shining light in the form of lyrics! Cuz we all know diamonds aren't the only things that shine!

Definitely my original appeal to Trevor was that he sounded like my favorite singer. But now I love Trevor for his own merits. Heck, he can even rap like nobody's business!
They both use vocal effects which can sound similar. For example, Chester's vocals in The Hunting Party album (especially in "Until It's Gone" song) sounds similar to Trevor's vocals in this song.
But Trevor uses rattle, Chester uses false chord distortion, so Trevor can't scream like Chester with that effect.

Where were you at when you taped the segments with the locomotives in the background? You captured a rare sight. The Santa Fe locomotive in the background is a disappearing railroad livery as that railroad is no longer.

I agree about Trevor. Even if they couldn't have made the video together, Trevor still could have sang his part and then sent it to Manafest and worked it in the video. Not the same even though Manafest lip synced his part well.
