@@davidcohen26 Hi David. Try this video (it's the launch video) which shows how to put the capo on: ruclips.net/video/KZvQ44spm4k/видео.html If there's a problem with your capo and it needs replacing under the free lifetime warranty then it's better to communicate via email, as you'd have to send us your postal address :-)
@@g7thcapo Well it only works in 1 of 5 times on the third fret. And it never sound really clean. I do have a rather small saddle width guitar. Could this be the problem ? Shall I push it all the way down and apply pressure or stop the capo at the high e string and than push ??
@@g7thcapo I just read that it is hard to put on the capo correctly with thick strings. I use 13. Could this be the problem ? Please don't let me hanging here guys.
Hi Paul! Yes, it will work on a flat radius. HOWEVER, it will probably only work on the first few frets as it won't be long enough to cover a wide classical neck. We still have the Performance 2 Classical capos available which are specifically for classical guitars.
@@g7thcapo Thanks. It would be nice to have open capo that works for both steel and nylon, but I would need it to go to higher frets. I may give the P2 classical a try.
Wait, so... This one doesn't work on a classical guitar? How wide of a neck will it support? (Is there a way for me to simply measure my guitar neck in advance to know if it will work?) Thank you
The body of the capo is a Zinc Alloy die casting, the string pad, back pad and guard are silicone rubber, the ART components are acetal engineering plastic, the clutch components are sintered steel and spring steel, and the finishes are 18 Ct gold plate or Satin chrome plate or Black e-paint.
So is this Performance 3 better than Performance 2? Does Performance 3 work with nylon string guitars? I might buy a steel string guitar in the future, so I see it works with steel strings. How much more does the name engraving cost?
Hi there, thanks for the comment! The Performance 3 has the Adaptive Radius Technology (ART) pad, which will adapt to most any 6 string radius and ensure unrivalled stability of tuning/eliminate buzzing. It will work on a nylon guitar as long as the neck isn't wider than the length of the pad (max of 52mm) - if you head to www.g7th.com then all engravings prices are listed as you add the capo to the basket. If you need any more help, feel free to email me at tommy.loose@g7th.com :)
It does, but it's not wide enough for most Classical guitars to go past the 3rd fret. We have a specific Classical model with a flat string pad, you can see it here: www.g7th.com/performance-2-classical-silver (also available in Black and 18kt Gold plate)
I have on and it is awesome, and cheaper than the heritage one which is also awesome but slower to use
Love my P3 model!!
Please show us how to put it on exactly.
Mine doesn't't work at all.
Thank you !
Hi David - sorry to hear that! Place drop us an email and we'll get you sorted: hello@g7th.com
@@g7thcapo Thank you for your immediate reply.
But why not here if I may ask ?
Or a link that provides the info ?

No wonder it's so expensive. This is hi tech.
